Eframe were professional from start to finish.

Go elsewhere for your art needs. Long delivery times and incorrectly measured frames supplied. Absolutely useless. When asking for a refund you will receive a not-so-polite response. Don’t waste your money and time, order from another supplier.

Frame quality excellent

I am a business user and have a long established relationship with E-frame whom I have used for many, many years. During that time I have normally been very pleased with the quality of their products and service. Also, I have always been confident that any product that I have asked them to produce and dispatch directly to a customer on my behalf would always meet my own exacting standards.

However, on this occasion, when I ordered a frame for my own use, the quality of the end product with which I was supplied fell far, far below the standards I expect and have previously been accustomed to. I was shocked, and this experience has seriously shaken my confidence in E-frame. I regret to say, it has made me very, very reluctant to use them ever again.

The custom made frame I chose was quite expensive; made with a quality Mahogany stain moulding and double snow white mount with a single 'v' groove. The aperture size was 905 x 305mm.

Upon extraction from its packaging, which I also thought to be somewhat 'minimal' given the size and value of the item, it was immediately obvious to me how poorly the mitred corners had been cut and assembled - in fact I could see fresh air through three of the four corners!! The edges of the moulding on all four mitred joints was very rough and the plain wood could be seen through the stain, one particularly worse than the other three. Each of the four mitred joints was fixed with only two pins when, given the dimensions of the moulding and of the frame, I would have expected to see at least three.

Finally, I have some doubts about the consistency of the colour of the stain throughout the four sides of the frame; one side looks noticeably lighter than the other three. I would expect to see possible variations in the colour and grain across natural wood mouldings, but not on stained or painted varieties.

Fortunately, as a professional photographer, I do posses the technical knowledge, skill and tools to resolve or repair most of the problems with this frame myself.

As this is a frame purchased for personal use I can, and shall reluctantly accept the product rather than put myself through the tedious process of returning the item for a replacement or refund.

I wasn't sure what mount to use and I asked on the website chat thingie and was sent some samples the very next day. The frame arrived quickly and is great - mount size spot on etc. Very pleased with everything.
