tired leather sofa

Had a very tired leather sofa, it had become uncomfortable. Found efoam online. Easy instructions. Refreshingly easy to contact by phone or email.
Sent template, received goods very quickly and well packed.
Fitted and my wife thinks the sofa looks like new.

Tried charging additional amount

I put my order through, and then they called me up and said I had to pay an addition £7.50 for them to fulfil the order!

I know it's not much, but that's not how things work. The price is the price. I have had to cancel my order and I'll order elsewhere.

Like having new cushions

Our garden furniture cushions had got VERY flat, and it was like sitting on slats!
Found Efoam online.
We washed the cushion covers (much needed!) and Efoam arranged for them to be collected. They then 'phoned to check what firmness we wanted, and gave us a very reasonable quote.
Got the cushions back within days. Skilfully cut new padding filled the cushion covers perfectly. Excellent, friendly service. Looking forward to comfortable sitting in the garden again during this currently hot weather. It has been like having new cushions. Thanks so much.

Awkward comms, but acceptable quality

After my initial review, eFoam replied to challenge my review, and we exchanged some emails to progress my order.

Communication leaves a lot to be desired; it may be that my order was in some way non-standard, so communication was required.

Once resolved, the order arrived quickly and was perfectly acceptable.

I followed the website instructions - and got the wrong size.

I ordered 3 large foam cushions for a project. I wanted cushions that were 5cm finished thickness with polyester wrap. The website clearly states that no allowance should be made for the polyester wrap, so I did not.
What I received were 7cm, so far too thick. On contacting the company their response was "Ah, but the underlying foam is 5cm thick". I replied that I wanted cushions that were 5 cm thick. Their reply was they will compress (which being foam of course they don't) I have tried them in a cover, but they look hopelessly overstuffed and stiff. When ordering on the internet you rely on the description and instructions to be accurate. The cushions were over £100 and despite an exchange of correspondence both by telephone and email they do not accept that their instructions are misleading and there was no offer of replacement or refund for something that was their fault.
I have now found an alternative supplier and got exactly what I want, so it can be done!

To clarify for others reading: the addition of polyfibre wrap does not require a reduction in the foam measurements, as stated on our website. The polyfibre is a thin, soft material designed to compress fully once the cushion is inserted into its cover, allowing the foam core to determine the final size. This ensures a plump, filled appearance without altering the specified dimensions of the foam itself.

We did our best to explain this during our communications and supplied the foam exactly to the measurements ordered, in line with the information provided on our website. While we regret that the final result did not meet your personal expectations, the product supplied was as described.

We always aim for clear instructions and customer satisfaction, and we’re sorry that on this occasion we were unable to reach a resolution.

Great little company and made our job hassle free

eFoam have taken a really daunting task and made it a doddle!
We are converting our van, all hand made and as green as possible. We got round to needing foam to finish off our bench seats, so started shopping around. We were fully prepared to buy a full sheet and cut ourselves but knowing from previous experience that it’s pretty tricky on long straight edges free hand.
Well I came across eFoams website and checked out their reviews on Trustpilot. I found their website extremely informative and openly stated how much everything was with/with foam stockings for instance. The choice in types of foam and the explanations for each made it easier to select the foam we wanted. Using their software to create the shapes needed for our benches was so simple and we were also happy that having them skilfully cut would lessen the amount of wasted product compared to us trying to cut them all from a sheet at home.
I placed the order and got an email confirming everything, our foam was delivered 2 days later and fits absolutely perfectly. Great product and great value. From start to finish using eFoam was hassle free, I certainly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after such a great experience with Efoam. From start to finish, the whole process was smooth and impressive. The website was incredibly easy to navigate – finding exactly what I needed and placing my order was quick and hassle-free.

I placed my order on a Wednesday and was amazed when it arrived by Friday – such fast delivery! I had a few questions after ordering and reached out to customer service. Amelia, the agent who helped me, was absolutely brilliant – friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond by sending me the tracking details promptly.

I’ll admit, I was a bit sceptical at first after reading some of the negative reviews, but I’m so glad I gave Efoam a try. The two foam cushions I ordered arrived in perfect condition, fit my sofa exactly as hoped, and have completely transformed how comfortable it is. It’s honestly like having a brand-new sofa!

What joy! The new foam-filled cushions for my sofa offer truly superior comfort and support. Why, because they are comfortable, distribute weight evenly and are clearly going to maintain their structure over time, whereas the feather-filled cushions which they replace, shifted, became lumpy and flattened dreadfully. So now I’ve got firm, supportive replacement cushions for my sofa that require no “fluffing” at the end of each day. I am very happy with the service and the quality of the cushions. Oh, and the cat likes them too!

The cost is fair and the website is great.
Their workmanship is beyond compare
and such quick completion is extremely rare.

At customer service they really excel,
all credit must go to their personnel.

Dodgy site, avoid

I ordered what was called very firm foam. When it arrived I assumed there had been a mistake because it isn't firm at all. Contacted the company and was told if you order anything under 7 cm it won't be firm.

Well this information is useless to me after you've sold it to me.

I expressed this to Debbie but she isn't interested, saying things are sold on their site as recommendation only.

So in short, they sell stuff that doesn't do what it says on the tin and they don't care if you aren't happy with it.

Zero integrity the people behind this company.

As previously explained, foam firmness is influenced not only by density but also by thickness. In the case of polyurethane foam—which is a softer, more flexible type—even higher densities will feel noticeably less firmer when cut to a thinner profile, such as 4cm (as per your order). We provide clear product guidance and recommendations on our website, however this is by no means a definitive guarantee of suitability for each individual, as personal preferance will differ.

I have had a first class service…

I have had a first class service experience with this company, Debbie in sales was amazing and my order was processed quickly with next day delivery. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that requires replacement foam for cushions etc, very helpful, good quality product and extremely excellent service.

Avoid

Purchased some of their precubed foam and when it arrived it wasnt pre cubed at all, it had been cut only half way down and was tearing apart.

I spoke to Debbie who at the beginning seemed friendly and advised me to check which ones where defective by seeing which ones were tearing.

After testing a few of them out they just kept tearing up, so i binned the bad ones and i decided it was easier to just refund and buy elsewhere which efoam then asked me to return the order in full as it came, which was impossible now as i had torn some apart as i was requested to do so and binned them. I tried to explain this but they said i couldn’t have my refund unless they got the entire order back as it was sent out.

Used them previously in the past and seemed ok until an issue occurs, then they just dont want to know, and very unhelpful.

We’d like to clarify that upon being made aware of your concerns, we immediately offered to uplift the damaged items at no cost and either replace them or provide a full refund—an option you agreed to initially. However, we were later informed that further damage had occurred beyond what was shown in the initial photos, and that a portion of the order had already been disposed of.

As per our returns policy, we do require the full order to be returned in its original condition to process a refund, which we clearly communicated at the time. We understand your frustration, but without receiving the goods back, we were unfortunately unable to proceed with a refund.

Misleading Product Listings and Unreasonable Charges with this…


I recently placed an order with this company and had a very frustrating experience. The product I ordered was advertised on the website, but after purchasing, I was informed that it couldn't be delivered in the dimensions I had selected. This wasn't really a problem as I could cut it into 3 sections instead. When I suggested an alternative (cutting the item differently),I was told it would incur an additional £13 charge—38% of the original order value. They said they would only be able to cut it in half for me without incurring extra - but this would make it totally unsuitable for purpose.

This charge seemed completely unreasonable, especially since the problem stemmed from the product not being available as described on the website.

38% extra to fix a problem that was created because they couldn't deliver what they allowed me to order. I would strongly recommend that this company add clearer disclaimers to their website regarding available sizes and delivery limitations to avoid confusion for future customers.

To clarify, the size you originally selected is unfortunately not manufactured in the UK as a single piece. Upon receiving your order we contacted you to offer a solution, providing the product in two pieces at no extra cost. We always aim to accommodate customer needs, and we understand that this option was not suitable for your specific project.

When you requested a different custom-cut arrangement instead, this required re-quoting the three pieces due to the additional cutting & handling, which is why there was a small additional charge.

That said, we appreciate your suggestion regarding clearer information on our website, and we will certainly review how we communicate size and availability to ensure clarity for future customers.

First class service and products were just right

First class service. I found this company online. I prefer to speak to a human, so I phoned. Debbie was super helpful, understood exactly what I needed (to make a chair more comfortable and more supportive for my beloved Mum, who is 90). The 2 new cushions arrived just 2 days later. Excellent. Really impressed with their friendliness and service. THANK YOU. Definite recommendation!

Superb service and product

This is my second purchase from efoam. Placed the order online. On Sunday, had to contact their customer service team on Monday as I had made an error on the order. The lady I spoke to was extremely helpful and promptly sorted the issue.

Received notification first thing that the goods would arrive today (Wednesday).

Really pleased with the customer service and all communications. I’m especially pleased with the improvement the cushions have made to my two sofas.

Foam not cut to size (Do not use efoam)

I placed an order for some cut to measure foam with efoam. It was for a peli 1750 case. The foam arrived while I was away. When I checked the foam I noticed that the three pieces were exactly 50mm thick instead of the 45mm ordered. When I contacted them to tell them that the foam was the wrong size they quoted a tolerance which was mentioned in their T&Cs (15.5.5 🙄) which can be up to +/- 10mm. They also said that you must inform them of any issues within two days of receiving the foam, which in my case wouldn't have been any good as it was within the 10mm tolerance. In my opinion they just cut a 50mm thick piece to the width and length that I required because that's probably what was lying about.

In summary, don't use efoam for cut to size foam as they charge extra for the cutting service and you aren't guaranteed to get the sizes you want.

Your order falls within this tolerance, and due to its flexible nature has no bearing on the performance of the foam or fit.
