Excellent performance in a shed in cold temperatures
I noticed mould growth on items stored in my garden shed. A Kalawen weather station sensor showed a humidity of 90%. I chose Ebac because it is British and I liked the water jug and front access on a previous Ebac Dehumidifier that I had owned for over 20 years. The jug is also useful for decanting into used milk jugs for subsequent steam iron use or for pouring over my compost heap. Due to the use in a shed at cold temperatures and feedback via an app, I chose in a 15ltr model. Delivery from Ebac was swift and the dehumidifier succeeded in bringing the humidity down to my set target of 60% (run permanently at high speed), while a separate external weather sensor still showed 90%. (note: for operation, I covered the shed air vent to keep the shed as air-tight as possible)

This is my 4th EBAC dehumidifier.
This is my 4th EBAC dehumidifier.
I live in a lower ground floor, garden flat that is under the road on one side and has a garden on the other.
I have been here 20+ years and these machines have kept my flat lovely and dry, mould-free and happy, all that time.
They have a 5yr warranty and I only had to use this on one item.
I would recomend this company to anyone living in a home who has to dry washing inside or has a damp problem.

New Ebac dehumidifier- just like the old one
My parents had an Ebac that we were gifted when we bought our first house 25 years ago. It must have been 20 years old at that time. But now the time has come to replace it and there was no other choice.
Well built, with all the functionality you need our new 3850 is performing flawlessly- mainly helping to dry clothes whilst the weather outside is wet.
Only downside is the noise - it still rattles like the old one did. Thankfully we just use it upstairs during the day.

I now have two Ebac dehumidifiers
I now have two Ebac dehumidifiers, 1 for upstairs and 1 for down to help with laundry.
Only reason I’ve not given 5 stars is I had to order castors separately - at the prices the Dehumidifier sell for they should be included. Otherwise it’s a heavy bit of equipment to manoeuvre about.

Good bit of kit

Works very well
Works very well - has changed the comfort levels in our house hugely. I’m also very happy to support a British manufacturer. Only improvement I would suggest is to make it a little quieter so it can operate in the bedroom overnight (but not really necessary).
