I couldn’t recommend DPF fixer as the work carried out was a temporary patch that lasted four days and left a huge stain on the driveway.

My sister had an engine management light come on on her 2013 Toyota Yaris 1.4D on Wednesday 19th August and the car showed a C2463 fault - DPF soot accumulation.
I called DPF fixer and explained the situation, they assured me they could fix it and quoted £408 taking a £150 deposit. Job number 172933
I was given an all day time slot for Friday 21st August. Baz arrived around 11am and lit a cigarette while he got his tools out. He did what he needed to do and came to the door saying I’d need to take him for a drive while he cleared the fault as it would otherwise prevent the DPF regeneration and he didn’t have the correct computer to clear it properly. After an hour driving on the motorway the light stayed out and the fault appeared to be fixed.
Four days later and the DPF fault is back.
Baz was a pleasant guy, he knew his job and explained things clearly. I am technical enough to know that!
The call centre took the booking for a Toyota Yaris 1.4D and equipped the technician with a good but generic obd2 computer that couldn’t reset manufacturer fault codes. Baz did his best with ehat he had but should be properly equipped for work DPF fixer take on. There are no warnings in their blurb that they don’t have the right tools for the job.

Following the review above DPF Fixer called me to apologise and rebook a different engineer job no. 173345 to repair my sisters car properly and pressure wash the stain they had left on her driveway.
They were supposed to come today but failed to arrive. I called their call centre at 16:13 when one of sales guys said the engineer had been out of area but was on his way. At 15:50 I called again and was on hold for 15 minutes before giving up on the sales option,1 and left a message on the unmanned aftercare option,2.
It appears not only are this companies engineers poorly equipped to do the job properly first time but their head office staff are disorganised to dishonest.
DPF Fixer is all marketing with no integrity and poor service. I can’t recommend them. They charged £408 for this disaster. The car is booked in at a Toyota main dealer tomorrow and they only want £150 to do the job properly.

Not happy at all £500 pound lighter problem not fixed at all came out did a full regem nxt day light came back on,booked for them to come back same fault codes as before was told if not sorted would get money back phoned yesterday to say how upset we were thelady was supposed to contact the mechanic and get back 😢 not a thing please avoid this company we'd been advised we had payed over odds in first place please read reviews before dealing with this company love to just take money off people not to sort the problem iv noticed a few people complained about same issue please beware Pam

Gone £288 in bin... Stucked at mid road after doing dpf cleaning. Actually, mechanic did nothing, probably he put some chemicals but I didn't see because he asked for some water & I went to bring it. After that, he just gave acceleration for half an hour in my car & looking his phone chat gpt. That's it. At last, he gave me the report & I have to take my car to the garage. So, regretable moments... Stay alert & I wouldn't recommend this service.👎👎👎

Fantastic service from a great mechanic but the only downside is the aftercare phone line just rings and rings. I had to go them back out because the lights came back on - went through the sales team to rebook in and now the other fault has been fixed been trying to get after sales to ring and book an appointment since 1415 yesterday. Now it’s 0945 and tried ringing no answer - through to the sales team again I went. Started on 07.08.26 and now at 13.08.26

Overall though really good service and great mechanic

Engineer was pleasant and arrived on time, however, after the job the warning lights came back on after 30 miles and the company didn't want to know, they say there were issues with the system prior to the work and to have those sorted before they will come back and look at my vehicle, I would not recommend these.

Arrived on time. Worked professionally. Talked through procedure. Excellent job.

I recently gave a glowing review about my first encounter with this company- however the issue was not fixed and the company had to come back twice first engineer cancelled 30 mins before after I had taken time off work ) self employed) 2nd engineer stayed twenty minutes and diagnosed the fault as a sensor didn’t need a deep clean and left,
Issue still not fixed but a huge amount of money lighter. Never again will deal with this company.

I had an issue with the car and wasn't sure what to do as most garages will need the car to be booked in advance, called DPF and luckily they had a slot for same day , the technician came and sorted the car.

I recommend using them, they are very helpful.

Easy to book a call out and the tech arrived after 2 days of initial enquiery.
The technician was very knowledgeable, friendly and had my Evoque back up and running within 2hrs. The car is much better than before it went into limp mode. I would recommend DPF fixer to anyone having exhaust filter problems and they are so much cheaper than the dealer.
