Had a terrible experience at the Hilington branch in Glasgow. Put my VW camper van in for a Bodyshop repair job through my insurance company and got it back with a problem that wasn’t there before it went in. Absolutely disgusted by the customer service I got when discussing this problem and was basically told to go back to my insurance company. How can these big companies get away with that and not admit fault when they’ve made a mistake, which we all can do, but not even a bit of sympathy or willingness to take the blame or offer to help rectify the problem. Will never use this company again and make sure anyone I know doesn’t either.

Stay clear had nothing but trouble !

i contacted Douglas Park in Stirling with a view to buying an advertised BMW X5, below is an extract of the reply, i contacted the garage and asked for a short walk around video with a couple of detail pictures, ive tried calling a couple of times but nothing, no calls no emails and that was 3 days ago , they are obviously too busy and selling enough cars that my business doesn't matter so will take the advise of some other reviews and try other dealers

I have been a customer with this branch of BMW//Mini for quite a few years now and it was a very much better company when it was Menzies. Douglas Park is too big and doesn’t know how to treat their customers. They are only interested in getting your money. I had a puncture and as I had Insurance to cover this I decided to deal with it through the policy. I wish I had just gone to the local tyre place instead. What should have been a simple job became something that took 5 days to complete. I got pushed from DP to Mini Emergency, back and forth . I was supposed to get a hire car and each thought the other should be dealing with it and the result was I didn’t get one at all!!!!!! I missed an appointment because of this. Do NOT pay out for this insurance- it just isn’t worth the money.

I bought my car is September, extremely happy with the sales process. I got a call a few weeks later regarding a service package. the lady I spoke with was very polite and explained everything in detail. she offered a monthly payment option which was very attractive. I signed up and got the paperwork in the post a week later.

Repaired a faulty seat belt alarm under warranty. when it failed 6 months later he refused to fix it unless I paid him £144 to run a diagnostic test on the engine. A chancer or a criminal. You choose, but Scotland’s driving force? Bull

So after searching for the right used car, I settled on a 430d xdrive on sale at Parks BMW in Glasgow. The car ticked all the boxes for me and I arranged a specific date and time (I had to wait till my salesman was back from his day off) to take the car out on a test drive. The test drive went well and I decided that the car was the one for me... or so I thought. Unbeknown to my sales adviser, whilst we were out, another Customer who was in the showroom had seen us going out on a test drive and had put down a deposit on this very car subject to a test drive. Whilst I felt sorry for my salesman having to break this to me, I couldn't help but think that this was an absolutely shocking way for a BMW dealership to operate. What kind of sales Manager allows a deposit to be accepted from another customer, whilst the car is out on a test drive. Shocking under handed treatment. Not to be trusted!

Walked into douglas park pinkston road and was greeted by Ainsley who was very polite and professional.My car was making a terrible noise so i was asked if i didnt mind waiting one of the technicians would have a look. Within 15 minutes they found the fault .Mark the service manager then booked me in next morning .I also booked my service for my car while they were going to work on it . A day and a half my car was back on the road excellent customer service all staff were lovely .Even trainee chantelle .would highly recommend

I bought an approved BMW M3 and after leaving the garage after 2 miles my tyres were low on pressure. After taking this up with the garage the car was taken in and the 2 rears had 2 punctures and there was no fault with the third tyre which loses pressure every 2 days. They put in 2 repairs to the rear tyres which have to deal with 450bhp in the M3. Save your energy and make sure you go to grassicks in Perth or John clark in aberdeen.
Stay well clear of Douglas Park BMW in Stirling as they so not hold the same customer service as the real BMW dealers in Scotland. BMW UK were no use either. Buy a Merc or Audi, this will be my last BMW.

Took my car in for a follow up visit after work had been done on the air con the previous year and it was not working again after less than a year. I wad told I needed a new compressor costing nearly 400 pounds. I decided to get a second opinion and took it to another garage who found no problem with the compressor. Please keep away from this garage.

after sales service is poor after thy have your money, service department not very helpful and a shortage of curtesy cars , this is my third new car from them won’t be a forth .

Extremely poor service , got car m2 in guaranty they meant to change front sensors at the day they realised they have not have any so they have to order , picked up car next they the same fault appeared again !!!! Lost 3 days in work because of them , the staff is pure joke, was waiting for my keys and papers for 15 mins while phoned them that I was coming I was in rush and then laughing woman came haha I didn’t realise it was done

Very poor service poor trade in prices went to harry fairbairn got same brand new 3 series 3k cheaper 2k more for my trade in wont be back here

Picked up my new BMW 6 series in Dec’17 from Douglas Park BMW Stirling which was a happy event until I drove it away - vibration immediately felt through the car at higher speeds. Reported this to the dealer but they refused to recognise any problem.
I went to another dealer and spoke with BMW UK / Finance whom instigated ‘puma’ - a detailed fault finding process. This dealer not only found the problem, they fixed it and so is now the new working vehicle that Douglas Park Stirling failed to provide.
Douglas Park Stirling put me through months of utter hell and still now with the facts of what was wrong with the vehicle clear will not acknowledge any wrongdoings in their dealings with me. They took my money and did nothing to fix the defect present from sale/collection. Their parent company, Parks UK has completely ignored all of my emails of complaint to them.
Buyers please please truly be aware of what these people are capable of - they were extremely nice and compelling when making the sale - I travelled from Leeds to buy the vehicle with them. It frightens me still to think of what these people are capable of - I have never before experienced the level of ignorance and dismissal that they have shown to me. They have put me through the most awful experience and BMW UK fully allow them to do it.
