Very helpful staff, wide range of products.

Many thanks to James, a new staff member who was very helpful looking for a particular rose Bush. Unfortunately the one I wanted was not available. However I did make purchase of something similar.
After making my purchase I got home to receive email advising me there was an extra 20% off from following day. That was shame I just missed out.

The only good thing (besides the staff) about the restaurant is the coffee. The room is dark and dingy with a lot of light bulbs needing replacement. It's a strange system where you have to find a table first and then place your order at the till. This then creates long queues at busy times. We saw a table being prepared for afternoon tea which is pre-booked. Instead of cleaning the table the employee cleaned the crumbs from the table with her hands and then proceeded to set the table. There were obvious marks still on the table.

A good choice of plants and shrubs, all well watered and looked healthy.We have not visited the restaurant lately as our last two visits were disappointing, no hot food and took so long to get our coffee we nearly gave up, hopefully our next visit will be better.

I always enjoy a visit to Dobbies. Found everything I needed and we had a marvellous full English breakfast in the restaurant too!

Love the plants but the cakes are expensive

The thing in your restaurant your cakes and scones are not under glass leaving them for children to touch or anyone to cough on them l heard 3 different people complain but we were able to spend a pleasant 2 hours we visit you at least twice a month

Bought lots of Terracotta pots for my succulents & reasonably priced

Helpful service from the staff and provided exactly what I was after.

We went to Dobbies for a coffee and cake, the cake was stale and probably one of the worst scones I’ve tasted. We then had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks. All in all not a good experience.

Plants very expensive compared to other places.

Please make sure that prices are put on the plants .

Enjoy our day out to Dobbies, our coffee and scone and being able to buy our garden needs at the same time! Additional outlets in store are always well stocked and presented!

I know difficult times but very restricted menu plus still at least 30 mins wait & this was not at a peak time , as we where aware that not many staff when we had a coffee earlier. So we didn’t get a lunch , had a scone but not brilliant. Disappointed as I had taken a friend for a birthday treat as she had never been before , but still had a lovely day & bought lots . I’ll leave it a week or so give cafe time to sort itself .
