I ordered a Rainbow Mandala Blanket Knit-Along pack,which uses the Entrelac technique.As it was a Knit-along I assumed I would find classes or instructions of some sort on the Deramores website to teach me this technique,but no!When I used the chatline I was directed to facebook to ask if anyone on there would be able to help me.There is no help at all that I could find on the Deramores website and the customer service line hasn't helped me either.I have had to look on YOUtube to find instructions on how to knit my blanket.In my opinion this is not a Knit-Along,it is just a pattern pack,and anyone buying it who can't knit Entrelac will be left having to sort it out for themselves like I was.Very very disappointing.SusanWinters.:(

I had a problem with a recent order (not the fault of Deramores). I rang Customer Services and the call was answered promptly. My problem was dealt with quickly, efficiently and to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company to all crafters.

Bought this wool while on promotion and is excellent value and quality . A large selection of colours and shades too , very pleased with how it crochet/ knits up too

I had an issue with the courier. My parcel was lost in transit and the courier didn't seem hurried or interested in resolving my issue. I contacted Deramores who followed up with the courier on my behalf and since the parcel was confirmed as lost, they resent my entire order which I received next working day. Yes, things go wrong with some orders, thats just reality, but it's the approach of the company and their willingness to engage and resolve the issue that sets a company apart for their outstanding customer care. Top marks to Deramores.

I placed an order and paid for guaranteed Saturday delivery only to find that my parcel did not arrive. When I queried this I was told that I had ordered after the cut off point. In which case I should not have been given the option of choosing guaranteed Saturday delivery, nor should I have received an email confirming it and I shouldn’t have been charged for it. When I asked for a refund of the extra postage for this service I was told no. I suggest that the website is updated so that it is not possible for you to take money under false pretences for a service you do not offer after a cut off time. It needs to be clear! I shall not be ordering from you again and will make sure to discourage any knitting friends from doing so either.
In answer to your comments about me receiving a dispatch email, that is not quite true, I received an email confirming a guaranteed Saturday delivery!

** YOUR RESPONSE IS WHAT I EXPECTED, YOU HAVE NO THOUGHT FOR THE MANY PEOPLE THAT WILL BUY THE PACK AND PATTERN AND ARE NEW TO CROCHET AND HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT TENSION AND CHANGING HOOK SIZES. YOU COULD HAVE SUBSTITUTED THE COLOUR NOT THE YARN. DIRECTING ME ELSEWHERE TO GET HELP IS YOUR IDEA OF SWEEPING IT UNDER THE CARPET, I'M ALREADY A MEMBER OF THAT GROUP THANK YOU. I TEST CROCHET AND KNIT FOR SEVERAL DESIGNERS AND NO DESIGNER WOULD SEND ME YARN WITH 2 DIFFERENT TENSIONS AND EXPECT ME TO MAKE THE SQUARE THE SAME SIZE WITHOUT GIVING GUIDENCE ON THE PATTERN. THE DESIGNER OF THE PATTERN DID NOT DESIGN IT THIS WAY AND YOU HAVE CHANGED IT WITHOUT EVEN TESTING THAT IT WORKED. I FEEL FOR THE DESIGNER IN THIS TOO.** I bought 2 packs of Deramores safari cal, having been asked if i could make them. The yarn substitute (Deramores DK) they have sent with the packs is not the same yarn (Deramores Baby Soft DK) as the squares should be made in, the thickness of the yarn is different the yardage is different and it gives two different size squares. There are no details on the pattern about the yarn sub and no info anywhere, the response i have had from them is it's the same composition ? yes they are both acrylic. I have been told i can return the goods minus the yarn already used for a refund, these blankets are for people that have asked me to make them like the picture, and not for myself. I'm not out to get anything for nothing as i have had to purchase the correct yarn to make them. Anyone buying the kit and pattern beware that you will have to purchase the 2 balls of Deramores baby Soft DK extra on top. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL !!!!.

I had a query with an order. I called the number on website.
A HUMAN answered within a minute and answered my question and also gave me great info for future use.

Whilst I don't understand why you can't simply change your own password (don't most sites allow that), I contacted the helpdesk through Live Chat and chatted to a very helpful lady called Lisa. Not only could she sort out a new email address on my account she made sure that all the rewards accumulated on the old one were transferred.

Deramores is generally my first go to for all wool as they have such a wide range, good prices and good quality...along with quick delivery.

My wool order from Deramores was lost by the carrier. I emailed the help desk and was very impressed by their prompt actions. My replacement order was sent out immediately and communications between myself and Tracy at the help desk were thorough and efficient. When my lost order appeared! I liked the wool so much I decided to keep it. Again Tracy was very efficient in her actions. A very positive experience. I would highly recommend Deramores and will definitely be using their services again.

Thanks again for superb service. On trying to download a pattern on SUNDAY, the link didn't work. I contacted Deramores by e mail and within half an hour I had a reply. I was also further contacted by Zoe who actually sent me the patterns ready to print. I do expect prompt service as ever from Deramores, but Sunday service is exceptional. Many thanks indeed.

Recently placed an order of 500G Balls instead of 100g. Contacted Deramores with dye numbers etc and was rung with the good news that they could supply the extras, SO Polite and Extremely helpful, I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Lee.

I would definitely recommend deramores to everyone, the quality of the wool is exceptional, delivery is very fast and efficient, customer service are extremely helpful with any complaints or concerns.
Wide range of colour's and thickness of wool. Not forgetting very good value for money.

I cannot believe that yet again my order arrived only 2 days after my ordering..even though I ordered at a Bank Holiday weekend. I had a query about how to claim my reward points and got a wonderful email from Zoe explaining it all to me. I am so impressed with this company.

I have had many problems with this company over the years but have persevered. These include higher pricing of yarn, waiting up to 3 weeks for a delivery, finding that most of the 'sale' items have only 2 or 3 balls of yarn available and the inability to collect 'Reward' points accrued from yarns other than Deramores own. I have found today that only a portion of my Reward is being deducted from my order of Deramores own yarn. I have stopped all communication with this firm now as in my opinion it is at worst not reliably honest and at best is increasingly incompetent,

I can’t fault Deramores for customer service.. Jade went above and beyond to help me out and even telephoned me to say she’d sourced the yarn I was after. I buy all my knitting yarn from them.. brilliant customer service with a personal touch!

I have knitted several blankets before from Magazine and Book knitalongs sourcing my own yarn which is not always easy to get all of the colours needed. This time in lockdown I thought I'd make my life easier by ordering the kit online Was I wrong!!! The yarns have been substituted for the original so that the colour and quality varies. One marked DK would surely be 4 ply. It would knit up lovely in a baby garment but its meant to be used in fairisle in this project. Some squares use intarsia method, some cable and one fairisle so it is challenging. Even more so if the abbreviations for the complex cable sections are missing. I have been trying to get them from their customer services for 3 weeks now to no avail and have even written to the designer via Facebook. Deramores customer Services seems to employ people who are very good at sending out standard letters but do not necessarily knit or crochet, which I find odd as they sell yarn. I don't have any problem with using own brand yarn but the quality i.e. the thickness of it does affect the finished project and this hasn't been thought thru properly in my opinion. I have been knitting for over 40 years and have knitted for leading knitwear designers so I think I speak with some credibility.

I have used Deramores before and find the customer service excellent . I have always been pleased with the service they offer and their own brand Studio yarn is lovely . My order was incomplete at first because of a shade being out of stock I had to wait 4 months for the colour but once reminded they sent out my remaining wool within a few days .

I recently asked Deramores zendesk for help and received a reply within minutes, after which I placed an order, Friday lunchtime and received my purchases before 10.30am Monday morning.
Prompt answer to my query and fantastically fast handling of my order. Excellent service.
