This organisation are a nightmare to deal with, getting through to them to ask a simple question is a complex and time-consuming process. They have been double billing me for over a year but point blank refused to help. I have given them one star as the system does not allow a zero. They do not appear very efficient and they are not honourable in dealing with their paying customers. Avoid if you can.

I agree with everyone on here.. Experian should not be allowed call it’s self a service. Excellent score rating but 0% chance of getting a loan apparently ! I really think there needs to be something done about companies like Experian giving false reasons to make a profit
Disgraceful

Until last month I had an experian credit rating of 992 out of a possible 999 and rated as excellent. Logged in a week ago to find a rating of 956 and rated as good. Nothing had changed with my finances so emailed experian to ask why my rating had dropped and the reply suggested I sign up for the costly service to find out. Other credit reference agencies had increased my rating in the same period.

It is the worst credit reporting site.
Do not trust them at all and do not waste your money.

Absolute chancers. Paid off two cards in full months ago but not updated, paid of a store card months ago - ditto. But the best thing is my score has gone DOWN - WTH - absolute joke and waste of £'s

So why is it other companies that provide this service can keep up with the changes and updates?

when you dial through BE PREPARED for a 5 minute Pointless recorded messages and 23 different options before you get through and speak to an adviser who isn't very good at advising, WHAT a pointless waste of time this morning has been .

WARNING- waist of time and money for subscription. They will lower your score in purpose just before good factor coming in to keep you subscribe.

Boost is a con, they are purposely not transparent about exactly what data is passed to creditors. The marketing carrot is your credit score will go up but this isn’t guaranteed and can & it seems often does go down. If you sign up you’re effectively giving Experian access to your current account which if in credit is really none of their concern as Experian is a CRA it should only be concerned with what credit you are using but Boost is taking their involvement in your finances to the next level, the algorithm will show them your spending habits, if you pay bills on time (info they get anyway) your savings habits like whether you’re routinely transferring money from your current account to a savings or ISA account etc. Your credit score may well go up but the extra data they are selling to creditors could make applying for credit more difficult in the future.

I joined experian after discovering that they have loads of wrong details about me. Wrong address, wrong electrol roll info and listed none of my credit or current accounts.
I emailed for help but of course they just send back a sales pitch to join. So reluctantly I joined to get some 'expert' help. Well, what I got was a rude, unhelpful young lady, who couldnt wait to end the call. I've canceled today. They obviously don't care, as they don't even enquire as to why you are leaving and ask for any feedback. I can't believe they charge people for this service.

Credit experian BIG BIG SCAM !!!! All people not happy about massive score dropp etc...We all need to make A HUGE complain to GOV, FSA ...!!! Credit experian Ruining people's lives and they SHOULD BE JAILED !!!

If you want to look at your credit file regularly the £14.99 a month is the only way to do this. If you want anything resembling a service then don’t pay the subscription. Process is slow, opaque and spectacularly unhelpful.

Very poor service website information is incorrect, states open 08.30 answer machine states 09.00am. Tried calling no answer at all, very poor service.Need to sort themselves Out and don't use the whole Covid excuse its getting tiresome...One and a half hours now trying to get in touch!!

Interesting that Experian can block you when you apply for a loan based on hardly any knowledge of you ( I obtained a copy of their data and they basically had none ) and then use that fact that they have blocked your access to normal interest rates to then try and sell you very expensive credit cards. There must be a conflict of interests here ? How can they legally be allowed to stop you being treated normally by banks and then use that power to try and exploit you? It took weeks and weeks for them to actually show me my data. I have no intention of either correcting their data or using their services -something smells wrong with this set up.

Charging me £14.99 a month, then when I repeatedly try and cancel they tell me I don’t have an account!

Why the hell are you charging me then.

They then tried inferring my Elderly grandparents who I live with were stealing my card to make their own accounts!!

What an absolute joke of a company honestly.

They have some of the rudest customer service agents I have dealt with in a long time. They will not speak to you unless you have a paid subscription with them. I wanted some advice on how an arrangement with my bank would appear on my credit score in the future. I have had to come to an arrangement with my bank loan as I lost my job due to Covid-19 and need this to reflect on my credit score. The agent I spoke with would not offer any advice and said he will be ending the call as I do not have a paid subscription and the line I was using was for those people only.

It is awful that we from time to time need to use a company such as this. I also note they do not respond to any of the reviews!. It is nothing less than theft.

My credit score went down by 18 points (inbetween my monthly report!) 2 minutes after I cancelled my trial of their Credit Expert service. I’ve got emails and screenshots to prove it. Totally unethical

Had a very bad experience with one of the other companies but this one helped me out immensely and gave me good advice on how to avoid such issues for the future.

I realise by their nature that credit reference agencies will only normally be complained about but I cannot complain at all with the service that I have received from Credit Expert (Experian).

Excellent. Had a mortgage denied because the bank pulled up a black mark against my credit score. None the wiser me or my bank had no idea how. I created an Experian account with showed a debt with a company I have never dealt with. I raised the case with Experian who then took it and dealt with the companies involved and had the debt removed and my credit score reset back to normal. Fantastic service
