Wow. we were all set to look and buy in a cove community somewhere between dunedin and tarpon springs in florida. After reading these reviews, we will look elsewhere. This is so disappointing!!

I am writing this email to report harassment and personal emotional distress from the management of one of your parks in Florida
Camelot’lakes Sarasota.
Your management team is giving out wrong informations about renting to guests with pets ,making it very difficult to rent and very stressful for me as the owner.
I am receiving nasty and rude emails from the management company accusing me of not complying with the rules.
They are asking me now for the first time to fill out an 18 pages contract for a holiday rental of three weeks and asking me how much I rent my place for ? regardless of me paying taxes too !!
This has nothing to do with the federal law . This is my private home !
The people renting now are
70 years old people obeying and complying with rules in the park ! and they have a service dog !
Your management told me they are not allowed and need to leave immediately or board the animals ! How dare the office tell my guests to get rid of their service animal. They were rude and embarrassed my guests !

Pets are in all houses in camelot lakes sometimes up to three/house

I was told twice that pets were allowed with renters with a registration document that you provide in your rules and regulations .
Why I am being harassed and threaten or rules violation?
This is how you treat owners in this park?

The management in charge is always hiding in their office nose down not to say hello or smile to owners / ignoring completely or pretending not noticing you obviously they are saying in one of their email that they don’t work for owners in the park but for cove ! What is this ?
If your intimate goal and overall vision of happiness and spirit of livelihood is your target it is definitely not achievable in that park !
Here is the list of broken/not attending

Business office not working since several months Computers not working ! Printer not working
coffe machine not working or no milk inside .
Pool not clean ! full of bugs or closed completely.
Birds flying in all the time in the pool and poop’s around the pool area .
I have picture in case you need to give them to the health department yourself
or I can send it .
I am waiting for your answer and I am asking you to make them apologise to me and stop harassing me !
they just don’t care and they alway get away with a lot of issues in camelot ! people are not happy with the management .

We have been trying to have a home built for 1 1/2 years. The home comes off the line from Jacobson and all Cove has to do is the build-on. They hire the worst contractors and all they do is make excuses as the why they can't get the job done. Management in the Rolling Greens Community cannot get these contractors to do their jobs. We have been waiting one month for Grove Plumbing to move a spigot that was placed inside our Florida room. Do not buy a new home in a Cove Community. Do not contract with Cove.

We just notice in Calgary that not only is our pad rent going to $1162 a month! But they are also cutting our internet and basic cable TV bundle. This puts us at $1240 a month and a payment on a piece of junk they covered up.

This company is the most deceitful and greedy of any I have ever dealt with.

Stay away or you will regret it.

I have had a caravan at Lochgoilhead for 41 years. We had a beautiful view of the loch and green area in front of our van. Cove communities bought the park and put a caravan directly in front of our van. It is only a few feet away from our front window. It has completely ruined the view. We are their longest, loyal customer.
So disappointed in their greed.

I have been having issues with my internet disconnecting constantly.
(Included in lot rent)
And I informed the Cove Communities office about my issue.
And they wanted me to contact a company from America for a work order. (Long distance call)

Im very unhappy with them as this was never an issue when i initially rented the lot . it was just a maintenance guy that installed it from the park itself without a work order.

And on top of this excessive rent increases every year with no additional value or amenities to the park itself. I hardly ever leave a reveiw for anything but this is ridiculously lazy and unprofessional
and feels like it should be illegal

Since Cove took over Bunn leisure, the site has gone to pot. We do not want this crap company in the uk. But I do not suppose you want them in the USA or Canada either. They are the pits.

Stayed at Bunn leisure which has recently been purchased by cove communities . Despite having been coming here for many years when parks were Owned by the Bunn family, we will not be coming back. The staff lie to you. We were advised that everything was was open as it was pre pandemic when we booked West sands. Because of this when we received our accommodation number and location we asked to be moved closer to the ents complex. Which they did, however once we had unpacked and had something to eat we checked to what entertainment was on, we found that next to nothing was open on West sands and all the entertainment and action was on White horse. So our move of accommodation actually took us further away from the entertainment. Found that the reception closes at 5.30 we hade to wait to the following morning to complain. They did offer move to Green lawns but on inspection of the offered accommodation it was not suitable for our requirement. We asked about compensation and there response was we can give you vouchers to use against a meal. This we declined as we had experienced the choice of meals the night before which is mostly American. The meal we had was not great but we had to eat something.

Why are the security allowed to bully/ pick on people with disabilities. When thay did nuthink wrong.
Bloody bully's.
Refused to give names or number on there arms. Plus dragging my son out by his arms which not aloud. No one kicked of so no need to do what he did. Plus swore at my son. Do I need to phone bunn and log a formal complaint.

Cove Communities are the worst. They do nothing but raise your rent highly.

Now, they are tearing down our beautiful clubhouse to build a new one and removing our washers dryers, building a fire pit in FL? Then replacing our boccie ball with a new one, and new horseshoe players. What the hell are they doing all this for except to raise our rent in Estero Bay Village!

I hate Cove Communities, don't ever move into one of their communities, and if I wasn't disabled I'd be gone in a second!

It's horrid what they are doing to our community for more money! Stay away from any Cove Community, and look up their reviews for each of their communities, and all you will find is how much they raise your rent so much yearly! I hate you Cove!

Buyer Beware. You can spend your retirement dollars in a more satisfying way..

Disgusting experience. Cove Communties came in and bought our park in Calgary, now called Calgary Village.

From the moment they took over they have done nothing but cut services, raised the rent to the point our homes are worthless.

We pay $1115 for the pad rent while they rent their own trailers out for the same amount including the lot rent.

They have to be the most despicable, unethical company I have ever dealt with using marketing terms such as included "free" with your rent to describe the inferior replacements.

Well, if the clubhouse amenities and the garbage wifi nternet are included free with our rent, why is the rent so rediculious? It's like being sold four tires for $30,000 and the rest of the car is included for free so they only have to warranty the tires.

I will gladly be participating in the upcoming protests as this company actively seeks to rip people off.

I'm in the uk and cove have purchased bunn leisure and what a total disgrace cove have treated caravan owners, hiking all prices out no refunds dueing covid but still stinging owners we did have over 1500 owners when cove took over, sadly over a 3rd have sold or been blocked by cove from selling. The sales staff have lied through the bottom of their butts have been very ignorant in not talking or awnsering any form of email,letters this company have caused a lot of heart break, many have had their homes for over 20 yrs........ THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE

We moved into the Meadows in Tarpon Springs. Just today they decided to place a volley ball net in a vacant lot right between two houses. When I called to complain, the manager finally called back to say it will remain there and be used occasionally. There was no notice no heads up. And the attitude was too bad for you. 900 plus a month to live next to an improptu volleyball game.

High River, Alberta has to be the most poorly run park ever. The park management does not know what she is doing. Sadly she runs the Calgary park also. She didn't hesitate to inform me that the previous manager (her friend) that she personally trained had mis-lead me in regards to my lease and laughed about it. Laughed that it will cost me even more to remain living here. I asked for it to be fixed, she made excuses that her boss was away (personal issues). 2 Weeks later when he came back to work, it was too late as more time has passed. What a joke. I feel sorry for anyone under or above this so called park management. They will rip you off anyway they can, from the lies to false promises. Glad to be rid of this place!!

RENTERS AND BUYERS BEWARE!!

I live in a cove community in Ruskin Florida- several years ago I had a travel trailer there- this time I am in my RV and have been here a year and a half and love it- they have done so many upgrades to the park- the lots are spacious- great activities and amenities! You get what you pay for. The staff here are friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend it!

Following our check-in on 31st Aug we were disgusted to find the state the caravan was handed over to us. Old banana skins, tissue and food packets behind the sofa. Old plasters on the bedroom floor and in one of the double beds!!! The response from Bunn Leisure was that it was a bank holiday so not enough staff to handle the cleaning!
Given the current covid situation this is far from acceptable. We are still waiting for a response to the issues raised.

Actually I rate them as a ZERO. Never ever get involved with them! Rent to high,do not fix problems as they should be,landscaping is a zero,no park, no club hose. NO SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! From Canada

worste managed 55 park ever !!! big corporate cove is a money hungry no regard to the residents ,ran joke but no joke to the older folks who live there,cove bought out this beautiful quiet longterm resedent park 2 years ago and every day they take action force out the poor older folks so they can replace their homes with 80,000 to 120,000 mobile homes !! who the hell wants to pay that much money for a trailor that you have to pay 600 or more a month to lease the land ??? the folks that have lived here are having rent increases,fees and made to pay for cable and internet that they never asked for and we still are yet to have the dreaded yearly inspections that will require these folks to pay for expencsive repairs and when they cant ,cove will force them out by default
