Ordered a coffee machine in March, never received product. Contact them, they keep saying they will send stock but never sent. Until July now, still no stock sent, lodged a refund claim, and they cancelled my refund request! They don't get back to you.
Don't order from here, they are scam!!!

We ordered a coffee machine to serve coffee to veterans as a not for profit.. you get to talk to them etc and once its paid they leave you high and dry and you never get your product.. Its a scam please be warned.. only positive feedback is from the guy who is running the scam.. be careful.

Awful company, ordered a coffee freezer in March, 3-months later no sign of the freezer. After many attempts to contact the business through all the possible channels, we had no luck in getting any information on the order or a refund. Avoid at all cost.

I paid $550 to get my coffee machine repaired. They took 4 weeks and when I contacted them they couldn't send a tech. I requested a refund and then all comms went silent. I have reported them to NSW fair trade Commission. I was told they were having a fair few complaints about these guys. But they couldn't do much to get my refund. Please be very careful if you pay these guys.

After ordering an item in January that was never supplied we attempted to get a refund. This was just the beginning of a 5 month nightmare with Coffee Beanery. Numerous phone calls and emails that their staff said would be forwarded to their accounts department and we still haven't received our refund.
I have now reported them to our bank as a fraudulent transaction and also reported them to Consumer Protection in both WA and NSW.
How this business is still operating is beyond me.
Please be aware of all of the negative reviews stating the same problems before ordering with them.

Update 24/06/24 We have now received our refund through our bank after I raised a dispute against the transaction. Still no word from anyone at The Coffee Beanery. I hope consumers read all of the complaints against this company before purchasing from them and don't get caught like many others have.

I'd like to know who you are? Obviously not one of the two men I have been dealing with!

Ordered a coffee grinder on the 13/02/24 and they never delivered it. I asked for a refund and they never gave me back the money. I have since advised Fair Trading, ACCC and taken Coffee Beanery Group Australia Pty Ltd (ABN: 54658462438) to NCAT where I was awarded orders for the company to pay me back the money. I will be enforcing this order through the courts. I suggest everyone who has ordered from here to do the same. If you haven't ordered yet, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere to buy from.

I would rate them zero stars if possible., Agree with other reviewers that this merchant must be prosecuted. I placed an order with them on 26th December, giving them ample opportunities to fulfil it. There was always an excuse for non-fulfilling. Getting tired of their excuses, finally asked them for a refund on 16th March 2024. I am now in the unfortunate situation of being made to run around to get a refund, shying away from their obligations. Looks like they don't want to fulfil their obligations as a merchant, but are happy to get and keep your money. The icing on the cake is they don't even answer the phone calls. I am not sure why there is a customer service number. They never answer. Their chat always asks to contact them through email. With emails, it is the same story. No responses!!!. In my humble opinion, they don't have any ounce of professionalism and I believe all their excuses are lies. They are not interested in their obligation as a merchant but I think it is a front to scam coffee lovers of their hard-earned money. Don't waste time with this merchant, as your time and money are better spent elsewhere.

Ordered a machine from them in July 2023. Now May 2024 and no machine. Many promises on the way but nothing shipped. When I asked for a refund they referred it to their “accounts department” who would contact me. No contact. Have referred them to the NSW office of fair trading but not holding out any hope. Avoid this company.

Took $500+ from us and failed to deliver goods or refund money, despite MULTIPLE emails, texts and calls.

I went ahead and purchased a bar fridge with this company without looking into their reputation. I didn't until I started to get worried on why my delivery hasn't arrived yet.

This has taught me a lesson. Always do a google search on a company before you buy from them...except if they are well known huge organisations like Harvey Norman etc.

Anyway, so from a similar experience that the other 1 star reviews express on here, it was pretty easy to get a refund. NOT FROM THE COFFEE BEANERY of course. I had to do it through paypal.

When I did set up a dispute with paypal, I was asked to try and resolve things with the seller before escalating it into a claim. So I did exactly that. The funny thing is that the Coffee Beanery were telling me that I had to close the paypal dispute in order for them to personally refund me. That is a load of crap! If you close a paypal dispute, you can't reopen it and the Coffee Beanery know this. That's why they tried to pull this trick.

This is a common trick used by sellers to keep your money and not give it back. Moderators in paypal communities will tell you this. There is no excuse why a seller can't refund you when a dispute is open.

If you are a victim of this person and used a gateway to pay such as paypal, afterpay, zippay etc...get your money back through them. It will be the easiest option.

If that fails for some reason, as for you got tricked into closing the dispute, go through your bank. However, that will require more work and will be a longer process.

NEVER rely on The Coffee Beanery in giving you a refund without it being FORCED as it will NEVER happen.

Well what do you know! Another complaint by a disgruntled customer, stop with the Bull S..t and lies and take the site down, you are causing pain to people.

Paid for an Ascaso Steel DUO PID Coffee machine in August 2022. They told me via the phone it would be delived in early september. Delay after delay after delay with no communications. It is now march 2024, and the machine is available in Australia in other retailers. But still no word on when they would be able to deliver it to me.

I contacted another retailed called Jet Black Espresso, who said they are the only authorised importer of Ascaso coffee machines in Australia, I then asked them if they sold any machines to Coffee Beanery, to which they said no. They are not an authorised seller of Ascaso branded coffee machines.

This is a true scam site. They took my money without any intention or permission to deliver me the product. Then they dont say anything when they have my money. Every time I call them, they hang up once they realise that they already got my money.

At this point in time (updated - this has been fixed), you can STILL order the ascaso steel duo PID coffee machine from the website, even though they are not permitted to sell it, nor do they have any intention to.

Thank you for your reply. This is by far the most coherent response I have received from your "company" in the past 6 months. It is a shame that you only provide this customer support on your worst reviews.

A chargeback via my bank which takes 90 days to sort out, is not a refund. You have my money, and you are making me jump through hoops to get it back (if i get it back at all)

Ordered a freezer from them 2 months ago, have recieved no notice about delays, have tried to call the office about asking for a refund, just get sent straight to voicemail every time, no response from the multiple emails sent to them, do not buy from them

Purchased 5th December. Today is the 15th February.

Multiple delays, 'staff sickness' to say why no coffee machine had been sent yet. I had to chase up each and every time to find out the status of my order.

Reported to ACCC and thankfully paid via Zippay - who are currently seeking a refund on my behalf thank god.

In response to the comment below from the company - I can confirm that NIL refund has been received and that all correspondance from Zippay chasing the refund has not been responded to by the company.

I purchased the goods ( 3 door fridge $2300l in November, I spoke with the salesman's first and locked in a price and confirmed how long it would take to be delivered. Two weeks later nothing had come, I reaches out and he told me it was delayed and was coming the following week. It's now three months from purchase, they said they would refund me but no refund has been processed and now the guy isn't answering my calls.

Absolute scum bag and taking advantage of people in a big way....

After number of reminders and PayPal dispute, they finally shipped purchased items but partially wrong item arrived. It was 1 star but at least I received something so I will change to 2 stars.

Read the negative reviews and thought I’d try them anyway, as couldn’t find the product anywhere else…
Worst decision. Extremely unprofessional (either they are a full scam site or they are just purely incompetent).
Product not delivered. Many phone calls later of empty promises of delivery ‘in a few weeks’. After final demand, they confirmed “oh, looks like this order was missed”. Then saying they cannot process any refund, so now the onus is on me to get chargeback through bank (won’t see this money for another 6mths!).
I now believe ALL these negatives reviews are true.

Ordered in November a delonghi refurb.
Waited patiently
No coffee machine.
Requested refund early December,
No refund.
I've raised a dispute with Afterpay and also with Consumer Affairs.
Next step will be to go to court to get back my money.
