Customer service leaves something to be desired.
Not a very friendly company to deal with, in fact I would go as far as saying that their manner is quite rude and unhelpful.
I wish I had picked this up before making my purchase with them, so think again.

Phoned clearview for advice regarding ordering spares for my stove. Explained I didn't know the model but gave dimensions of firebrick I wanted. They then advised me that they were all the same for the width of stove I advised and proceeded to send me the wrong part. I have now made several attempts to contact them asking how they intend to rectify this and my requests have been ignored. Great stoves but very poor customer service.

We have had now, six wood burning stoves over the years, ranging from the basic to a fancy stone topped Scandinavia one.
On moving to another property we purchased a clearview stove from a local show room, traditional,with a good sized glass front, all makes claim their product keeps the glass front clean, and until now they never have.
Put simply, this is by far the best one we have owned, we have used it for over year and it still looks new.

Just got off the phone with Jonathan the Director of Clearview. What a very difficult man to speak to. My partner has made six attempts over the last two weeks. So I tried with my own name and a vague description of my reason for calling. The woman who answered my call tried the same tactics to do everything in her power to evade transferring my call with feeble excuses. He isn’t in the office, I don’t know when he will be in, he is on the phone, he has just left the office. I suggested he call me back. Her answer was ‘Well I don’t know when that will be’ It was safe to assume that, as with my partner, he would not be calling be back. So I rang again and again.

All this for the small matter of £50 owed to me as way of a promised refund if a part should be deemed to be surplus to requirements when purchased along with other parts on 13th December. The items were paid for by card but a refund by card was refused. Apparently they only use cheques cards being a modern convenience they don’t have time for. Clearly this dim view doesn’t extend to being paid by card. Unfortunately the cheque didn’t materialise. Assurances have since twice been made but today 27 January still nothing.

My telephone conversation with Jonathan demonstrated the very worst of customer care imaginable. He is much too busy to be dealing with it right now. He will do it when he has time to get around to it. He won’t be pinned down on when that will be. He is of the opinion that I am making too much fuss over a measly £50. It was only a pipe. His whole manner was aggressive and confrontational. I sincerely doubt that I will ever see that £50 again.

As an aside the wood burner stove was in the house when I purchased it. After using it for a few winters, despite the dismal customer care, I wouldn’t be inclined to buy another. There are better and more advanced and more user friendly stoves on the market.

Simple, straightforward, old fashioned stoves that work well but are expensive for what they are. Shop staff in Whitchurch are very helpful and obliging.
Once the stove was installed we followed instructions as per those provided by Clearview. Marks appeared on the stove finish and in communication with the Clearview Customer Services at the factory we were told that we had made the marks as we hadn’t followed procedures. We were told to repaint the new stove ourselves!!! A stove costing just under £2000 and we are told to repaint it!!!
We questioned the inadequacy of the information provided and asked if we repainted the stove would this invalidate any warranty and how would they recommend such a process be undertaken. From that point our communications were ignored. Very poor after-sales service from a company that purports to have the ‘Rolls Royce’ of stoves. Once they had our money they just didn’t want to be bothered as other reviewers have sighted similar experiences.

Love my clear view stove. Just had to replace a small part and the company were excellent, sending a replacement immediately with no cost

Clearview stoves are very good products. That cannot be said for the staff who run the company.
I overpaid a bill to them by around £25. Despite several requests, written and by telephone, most of which went unanswered, I was eventually informed that the company would not refund me. They would add the amount as a “ credit” on my account. This is unacceptable practice.

If we do not buy anything else from Clearview, then we are out of pocket. Considering we spent over £3000 with them, I think this is outrageous.
