Beware landlords. Unprofessional management here will mess up your world. Harry says he's the head of marketing, yet he and his team dropped the ball. My rental house was not advertised as promised. Despite a trail of emails that showed the incompetence, Harry blamed his team and gave poor advice on how to get tenants. No thanks.
No what? An empty landlord house is up for double council tax and lost rental. Thanks Harry of CJ Hole.

St Stephen’s House. Gas, hot water and heating went out on 10th March 2026. Hot water reinstated on 11th March. Gas heating reinstated 17th March. Gas stove is still dead as of 17th March. Week w/o heating, week plus w/o cooking. Or, rather using electricity instead of gas, which is ca. 4-5 times more expensive. All are included in rent, so lodger is inconvenienced and landlord is paying the cost differential. This is not an old building, and it’s 2026. Keep in mind before you rent. Or let.

I have rented properties through CJ Hole Clifton Branch for over 12 years and have always received first class service. Rafal, my direct contact is exceptional. He responds immediately to any queries and deals with issues promptly.
I have recently needed him to resolve a dispute between myself and my tenants. His diplomatic email resolved the issue so both parties were in agreement. Thank you Rafal.

Great estate agent. They persevered to get my sale completed even though it fel over several times and still got me a great price. Allways kept me informed ina friednly and profession amanner. Woudl definetly reccoment

As per our previous conversation, as on the day rental payment was taken, i received the key and was supposed to move in, the house was in an unlivable condition.
House Condition.
1. The kitchen was uncarpeted
2. There were tools and rubbish in the whole area of the property
3. The whole house was in a very dusty & dirty condition; all over the wall, the floor, the sink, and bathroom.
They wouldn't allow me to view the flat because of Covid even though the flat was empty.

Terrible service! They tried to rent a flat to my Son that they had misadvertised.They wouldn't allow him to view the flat because of Covid even though the flat was empty. The property was supposed to have had a new kitchen fitted, it clearly hadn't, the worktops around the sink were rotten, the cooker and surrounding surfaces were covered in grease, the whole property hadn't been cleaned! Something I'm sure should have been done because of Covid.
There were more serious issues which really made the property uninhabitable.
My Son contacted CJ hole and there reply was "well it's got nothing to do with us".
We contacted the Buildings ombudsman and then contacted CJ hole again, informing them of our actions!.
They were a bit more helpful after that!.
It took over a month for my Son to get his money back.
It is shocking that a large company like CJ Hole will try and rent someone a property in such a poor and potentially dangerous condition!. Shame on them!
