Chubb factureert meer dan nodig. Wij hebben 4 decentrale noodverlichtingen en Chubb factureert er 8. Bij de vorige controle stonden er blusdekens op die zij helemaal niet hoeven te controleren omdat deze niet meer worden gebruikt en dus geen onderdeel uitmaken van de controle. Daarnaast willen zij vaak als accu's vervangen terwijl deze nog functioneren en zelfs de test van 60 min zonder stroom doorstaan.
Costly Call Out
I reviewed this company positively after a call out a couple of days ago .Following a flood from a burst pipe we had to call the engineer to stop the alarm ringing and reset it .The engineer came promptly (our usual engineer he very good) and the whole problem was sorted within half an hour
I now have the invoice bearing in mind we had no new parts fitted and it took 30 minutes the bill is 225.00 that’s 500.00 per hour and us extortionate !!! We have a maintenance contract aswell which costs just under 500.00 per annum!!
So yes the problem was solved but the cost ridiculous so please be aware if these charges !!!
I’m sure there are many other alarms companies to choose from with better value !!

Na onderhoud bleek dat er componenten vervangen moesten worden in Juli, er zou contact opgenomen worden in september. Het is inmiddels december maar niemand die contact opneemt. Jaren klant geweest en dan wordt je zo aan de kant gezet.

Terrible customer service issuing legal threats re a late payment for a service not delivered. Invoices sent out TWO months before it is due.
No common sense whatsoever.
Don't use this two bit company.

Inutile de parler des conditions de rupture de contrat qui vous laisserons un profond sentiment d'injustice.
Hiked up contract over double
Been a loyal customer for over 10 years, then suddenly out of the blue they told me that my contract will be over double.
Needless to say I cancelled the contract but still trying to hound me for money. I'd certainly wouldn't recommend Chubb to anyone. Shame because their engineers are spot on.

This company is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with we cancelled our contracts a year ago in writing and they are still trying to send a someone to service the alarms then demanding I pay them. I’ve rung them a thousands times and explain we have cancelled there service they apologise then they send another letter. It’s an absolute joke!

'Monitored' alarm is NOT monitored
'Monitored' alarm - isn't monitored. While we were away (abroad) the alarm went off - 4 sensors were triggered. Chubb should have immediately phoned our house for confirmation - they did not do so. We know this as the alarm was accidentally triggered by a neighbour who was checking on the property - they were in all the time the alarm was going. Two weeks later and it says 'Eng. Reset' and still no contact from Chubb. 2nd time Chubb has not responded when the alarm has gone off. And they have a premium rate number to contact them! Insulting! Absolute rubbish for over £500 per year.

Terrible company, extremely high rates for the most simple fixes. Even disconnecting our system (3 min job) costs €250 euro.
Do not go into business with them.
Un service à la clientèle inexistant
Un service à la clientèle inexistant, des prélèvements passés en double, une absence de facturation mensuelle pendant près de 3 ans alors qu'une facturation mensuelle avait été réclamée à cause des doubles paiements puis finalement des menaces de collection et de coupure de service inappropriées qui laissent dans mon esprit un doute sur l'existence ou l'inexistence du service reçu pendant toute cette période.

Scammed our small family business
They invoiced our small family business 4x the replacement cost of fire extinguishers to test them... Seriously? What an absolute scam. I could have bought 8 fire extinguishers to replace the two they tested, and I would still have had change left over their invoice.
They knocked off $200 from the invoice after I complained, but it is still massively a scam to pay nearly $500 to test 2 small fire extinguishers... They should be ashamed of themselves.

Sneaky
We were with Chubb for years after they took over the service contact for Alarmfast and it seemed reasonable and engineers were great at first. Then randomly we get an invoice for double the monthly cost, no explanation, accompanying letter or warning. They’ve done exactly the same to many neighbours who have been caught out in this way. When I called to complain and ask why there was no communication around it there was no answer and seemed very elusive. They explained prices had gone up but had automatically placed us in the most expensive option. What a sneaky way of doing business and has lost them many customers in my local area. We’ve transferred to another monitoring company and would not recommend.

Don't care about domestic customers
We've been with Chubb for years.
They installed our alarm control panel for a small home security system.
I have an annual service contract with them meaning the system was regularly maintained by Chubb.
Around 3 years later the control panel became defective.
I asked for a repair/ replacement as the panel was clearly faulty but was told their panels have a 12 month warranty and they would not help me.
I pointed out that under the Consumer Rights Act their 12 warranty doesn't override their responsibility to replace/repair the defective panel.
Again they refused but offered to replace the panel but charge around £800 in labour to do so!!!
A complete insult.
So if you're happy for your alarm system to break in 3 years and get no support from your service provider then Chubb is the company to go with.

Still useless
So to add insult to injury over dealing with the death of my Aunt, Chubb despite receiving the death certificate then send a letter to my aunt (not the executor) advising her after she has passed away that she now has a credit.
Not sure if Chubb Fire & Security really have any clue about how to run a business or look after customers.
Emailed as requested below, but do not hold up much hope…. As despite this review they continue to write to a deceased customer…..

Annual fee jumped 18% in one year with no explanation. Serious drop in service over the last 6 years.

Bad experience with previous General Manager Don Murray lied to me.
No service
Our fire panel has been down for two months now. I have called, emailed, used the contact us form a combined total of 15 times. Not once have I received a response from them and the panel is still down.
