First order and was very excited to try the weight gainer. Upon opening the parcel I noticed it has a best before date of 31/5/2026
I understand it’s best before and not use by but I would have expected the dates to last longer than the 45days I was informed I would need it for.

The response:

“For the Weight Gainer: This product usually has a shelf life of around six months from manufacture, which is standard for this type of high-protein and high-calorie formula. This shorter best before period is due to the nature of its ingredients, ensuring you get the product at its freshest and most effective.

Best before dates are set as quality indicators and, when stored as instructed, products remain safe and effective until that date. However, we completely understand and respect your preference not to use products past this point”

So clearly I’ve been sent a product that has been sitting on the shelf for a while.

I explained my frustration at not wanting to have to contact them before each purchase to check dates but I was advised to contact them to check before purchasing. 😞

And I’m still chasing for them to sort out my order so I can get a refund. Very disappointing to have the solution be “sorry you don’t want to use it past the bb date”

Having previously worked in pet retail, I know how important stock rotation and date management are when customers are trusting you with products their pets are consuming regularly. Advising customers it’ll do and check with us before every purchase feels like poor practice rather than good customer service and trying to meet pets walefare

Sent me a new one as a good will gesture and ignored my request for a refund. The new one has the same date!! Staff do not read emails properly

We know what we're using if our already tiny chi drops weight again. It was very scary as she's 12 and has a heart condition and we didn't know where that was going, so I looked into how we could help her and after finding Weight Gainer she's solid again and we're so relieved. Her ribs were sticking out and it was awful but she looks and feels a healthy weight again, when we pick her up she no longer feels like a bag of loose pieces, she's solid. At first she ate it right up when I tried some on a plate and then we sprinkled it on her breakfast. After a few days she went off it a bit so I mixed it through and I also added a bit of water to her sprinkled mince as I think that helps and it was fine. We only needed to use it for a few weeks and happy to have some on hand should things shift again. I wish everyone knew about this product, I hate to think of anyone thinking their dog has to suffer because it's just an age thing. Sometimes older dogs go off their kibble because their mouths are more sensitive and so they're not getting as many calories so you need something softer, and if that doesn't do the trick they need to eat more. The sprinkle gives the calories but not the bulk of more food, your dog may not be up to eating that much food. It's worth it for your dog's health and you likely won't need to use it for too long.

I’ve been using these products with my gorgeous frenchie for the past 3/4 weeks to keep her in tip top condition.
She sometimes struggles with her tummy but the super tummy plus powder sorted that within a week or so.
I really like these products and their transparency with ingredients is very good!
Bouncy bones has improved not only her energy levels but also her coat health too I use bouncy bones more as a preventative/ protective product to help her with her joints and mobility. I also use the berry bladder product in this way also.
I mix these products with water to make a paste as this is the way my dog prefers her supplements but they do recommend sprinkling on food that didn’t work for me so I make the paste! Typical fussy eater dog ! Pricing is high but in my opinion is fair and valid due to the product quality and transparency of ingredients and manufacturing process.

Absolutely changed my mind about this company after my awful experience this morning. I have a subscription for the Bouncy Bones powder.
I delay the delivery once I’ve received the REMINDER email to say it’s going to be shipped shortly, unless I change that.

Today I was informed by email that my order was on the way!!!
I had NO reminder.
Nothing.

So I contacted them immediately and was told, too late! It’s on its way and we have taken the payment.
Absolutely diabolical unethical way to operate a business in this sneaky shady way.
If I had received the email, and didn’t change the subscription, then that’s MY fault, however when no emails have been received, that’s THEIR fault.
They couldn’t and didn’t want to prove they had sent the email either. Very fishy indeed.
I always supported this company from the start when they were a very small business that needed customers to thrive. Wish I’d never bothered.
I’ll find another brand for my dog.

I have had no emails in junk or regular inbox with a reminder, I checked every single email in my Hotmail and nothing.
If they are doing this to me, they are doing it to others, who they hope will just let it be. Not me. If I had no reminder, they is not my fault. I asked for proof that they had sent the reminder. Silence. No answer on that one. Surprise surprise. What a cheap nasty way to run a business.
In the past I’ve had reminders, where I have then gone immediately to my account and delayed it by X amount of months. This time, I was clearly scammed.
Now I have to report this to my credit card company and tell them what happened to get the funds reversed.
All this through no fault of my own.
I’ve been buying their products for years and often from pets at home, most of their range.
No more. It’s finished. I’ll never trust them ever again for what they’ve done this time. They simply don’t care.
What a business.

Explain how all of sudden the item hadn’t been sent? Hmm….
I have the email here that said there was no way out, it had already been sent. That was a lie wasn’t it. Clearly.

I never received any email reminder for this order whatsoever.
I even sent you screenshots of my trash and inbox. Not a thing, so clearly something had gone wrong YOUR SIDE. Not mine.
If I had actually received a reminder, like I have in the past, then I would have swiftly delayed it, as I had done in the past.
You must have so many customers that are signed up to this subscription, that think ‘ oh well’ and they get charged or they don’t receive a reminder. That’s just wrong and unethical.

Please remove my name and address from everything to do with B&L.
I do not want anymore cards sending to my address either. Totally done after this last experience.

A reminder is not proof that it was sent and delivered.
Do you honestly believe that this would be my reaction IF I had in fact received the reminder? Absolutely not.

Don’t you dare try to gaslight me, making out I’m clueless with the subscriptions settings. I’m not.
THE FACT REMAINS, I RECEIVED NO REMINDER FROM YOU DO THEREFORE I WAS TRICKED INTO THIS ORDER,

My dogs love Super Tummy Daily, Pumpkin Powder and Salmon Oil. The difference in them is quite remarkable.

Its been almost a year since we started our journey with Buddy & Lola and one that we will continue for a long time. Highly recommend giving them a try.

I also have to say that their Customer Service Team are super helpful too and would like to mention both Sarah and Sejla. Thank you both for being so helpful and helping me with my enquiry. A sign of a great company!

My 12 year old dog had the poops really bad for 3 days, on vets advice I tried this, one dose and he was better!
Since then our puppy has had diarrhea twice and every time it's worked within 2 hours to stop liquid diarrhea and firm up poops, it's a lifesaver!

What a Fantastic product, I have used this many times with my Border collies with there upset tums, it's works fast easy to use and my Dogs Tums are on the mend, would Highly recommend this product. Thank you.

My Skye Terrier came to me a bit a bit thin and she is a bit of a fussy eater suddenly not wanting to eat. I purchased the Weight Gainer and it has been absolutely brilliant Yes she has gained weight but she even eats the vegetables that I hide within her food ❤️ So it seems that The Weight Gainer acts as an enhancer when mixed with her food. One very happy owner and Skye Terrier.

My 2 year old border collie x has had sensitive tummy troubles all his life, I have tried many different things but nothing worked. I tried Buddy and Lola instant tummy, it was great but after a couple of weeks I had to give him it again so I got Buddy and Lola pumpkin powder as a long term remedy and give him a teaspoonful on his breakfast and one on his dinner and almost immediately and a few weeks later no more runny poos. This is definitely magic

Ordering was easy and I received my order quickly. Unfortunately the product I ordered didn’t agree with my dog’s sensitive stomach. Customer services have been excellent, organising a return for my unopened packet and then a prompt refund no quibbles. Great service.

I bought the super Tummy instant which after 2 days didn't work. But had an email ( after i sent a 2 star review with more information). So day 3 and dog bowls gone from so runny to firming. The only other thing we have used is super tummy daily plus.
( we were waiting for special food recommend by vets).
Dog is happy and more settled we are happy and highly recommend Buddy and lola products.
We will carry on using the Super Tummy daily plus powder on his meal.
( we have been back and to, to the vets for a couple of months, trying different things vets recommend, with no change.)

Spoken to a vet and bought some stuff they said would sort the problem which it never...

Problem solved within 12 hours !!!!..i cant believe it ...

I have tried it on my puppy with your Super Tummy Instant for about a week. Unfortunately, it won’t work for my puppy. Sadly to say that won’t be buying again.

I’ve used this for a while now. It’s my ‘go to’ tummy settler for any runny tummies my old spaniel has. I’ve also used it when she has a bout of ‘empty tummy’ vomiting before she has a bland meal. It’s easy to administer using the syringe that comes with it. My old girl never protests too much so I suspect it doesn’t taste too bad either! I did once deviate and try a cheaper brand, but made zero difference so scrapped it. I find that it rarely takes more than one dose of Buddy & Lola to resolve any issues and settle everything down to normal. I’ve recommend3d it to others too and the feedback has always been positive. Brilliant stuff!

Super Tummy Instant was a game changer for my Frenchie. It had worked within 24 hours. Then I started looking for something to provide a maintenance dose for her. I found Super Tummy Daily Plus on the Buddy &Lola Web site and placed my order. The order was placed around 11.30 on Mon 2nd June, it actually arrived around 07.30pm the Same Day, now That's what I call First Class Service. Thank you so much.

Delivered my order to the wrong address because their system changed my address in favour of their system address which removed the house number. need to check this does not happen when ordering.Couldn't change the delivery address to be more accurate online but name and postcode were correct. Provided video evidence and received a refund straight away.

Seem to have signed up to a subscription without even knowing it. I just wanted to purchase something once off to try it out. Hate companies who upsell everything and try to con you. Hopefully my subscription is now cancelled which wasn’t as straightforward as they claim. A bit disappointed.

The Bone broth purchased recently was amazing one if my boy huskies, (who's a dramatic red) had sedation I couldn't get him to eat or drink so made some broth just warm and he lapped it up
Kept him hydrated whilst he slept the drugs off.

My dog had a bit of an upset stomach today due to trying a new treat that didn’t agree with her, her stool was literally like water, I gave her a full syringe of the super tummy instant and just after a few hours are stool is firming up to the point I can pick it up. I recon after another syringe she will be back to normal. Super tummy instant is a staple in our household and it’s a miracle in a bottle!!

My new puppy lives the goat milk powder has really helped him. Will be a regular purchase. Speedy delivery quick and easy
