I cannot thank Mohamed Mujahid from BSM enough for his incredible support over the past year! He stayed with me every step of the way, all the way from my very first automatic driving lesson until the day I finally passed my test and got my driving licence!Mohammad is an absolutely amazing instructor. He is extremely patient, professional, and always kept a positive attitude, even when I made mistakes. Driving for the first time can be very stressful, but his calm teaching style completely built my confidence behind the wheel. My instructor Tony Antoni was an incredibly skilled and experienced driving instructor! I passed my test first time with zero minor faults after practicing with him for only 3 weeks. Leander Tonkin took me on as a novice driver, totally fearful and anxious and in 50 hours, into a confident, competent driver who passed first time! I will forever be grateful for her patience and attitude, we had some giggles but she knows what she’s doing and in 7 years I’ll be getting her to teach my daughter!!

Excellent and well organised driving school.
My instructor Mo was really good and instilled confidence in me.
I had failed by 1 major due to my own anxiety but second round was a pass with no faults. My pass is all because of Mo.

I cancelled my lessons with BSM because of my experience with my instructor, Zaza Meurmishvili

He cancelled two of my lessons. On one occasion, he messaged me only around two hours before the lesson to tell me it was cancelled, even though I had already made all the necessary arrangements and was fully prepared for the lesson. I found this very frustrating, especially as there was no apology.

I was also told during my assessment that I would need around 45–50 hours of training for an automatic car. I already have previous driving experience, so I felt this estimate was quite high. I later spoke to another instructor who gave me a different assessment, which made me question whether the initial estimate reflected my actual level and experience.

Because of these experiences, I lost confidence in continuing with this instructor and decided to cancel my lessons with BSM.

I’m leaving this review because I think BSM should be aware of how this experience affected my decision to stop using their service.

Ferhat was a phenomenal instructor. He was patient but trusted me and encouraged my decision making. I couldn’t recommend him higher as an instructor. I might genuinely miss my lessons with him

Money well spent. My driving instructor was sheriff an amazing guy taught me from the basics all the way to passing my test first time.

After a bad experience, I was recommended Antony Boyle, and I honestly couldn’t have made a better choice.

After every lesson, I felt I had learned something new and become more confident. Antony genuinely cares about his students and always shares his knowledge, experience and advice.

He is kind, polite, honest and incredibly supportive. He believed in me throughout my journey and was one of the most important people in helping me pass my driving test.

He believed in me so much that he even joked, “I don’t want to see you on Monday again!” 😂

Amazing instructor. Mr Aichoun has helped me throughout my driving experience from the beginning all the way till i passed. When i first starting driving i had little knowledge of how to drive, he helped me gain confidence and knowledge by fine tuning anything i needed help with and making me memorise the techniques that are best for different roads from dual carriageways to smaller/more narrow roads. Overall my experience with him was 10/10 i am very happy. Even a day before my test day he had helped my calm down by ensuring me and sending me text messages that will guide me through the process to prepare me for the day. I am very pleased with his service.

had a really positive experience learning to drive with Ferhat. He was always thorough and took the time to make sure I properly understood what I was doing, using practical examples that made things much easier to remember. What I appreciated most was how he helped build my confidence as a learner driver, especially when I was unsure of myself.

My instuctoctor Ferhat (east london) was great. I am not the easiest person to teach but I passed first time thanks to him.

My daughters experience with BSM was extremely disappointing and caused a huge amount of unnecessary stress, particularly in the run-up to her driving test.

The instructor regularly changed lessons at very short notice, arrived hours late on several occasions, and sometimes did not turn up at all. The situation became much worse immediately before my test, when my remaining lessons and the use of the instructor's car for my test were cancelled.

This left me with very little time to find an alternative. My family had to arrange and pay hundreds of pounds to hire a suitable car through Arnold Clark, and I then had to practise and prepare for my test in a completely unfamiliar vehicle. My dad also had to take a week away from work to help me, costing him more than £1,000 in lost wages.

What concerns me most is what I have discovered since. I understand that the instructor was suspended and has subsequently been banned from teaching. I have also spoken to other pupils and discovered that the explanations we were given for cancellations and other issues were not consistent.

This raises serious questions for me about BSM's oversight of instructors operating under its name. I would like BSM to confirm whether my instructor was suspended at any point whilst I was still receiving lessons from him. If he was, I would like to understand why I was not informed and how he was able to continue teaching me.

I also want to know why the repeated lateness, missed lessons, last-minute cancellations and disruption were apparently not identified or addressed sooner.

Learning to drive and taking a driving test is already expensive and stressful. I booked through BSM because I believed I was choosing an established national driving school and would therefore have some reassurance and support if something went wrong. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I have asked BSM to respond to me in writing and explain what happened, particularly in relation to the instructor's status during the period in which I was his pupil.
