Bought swish curtain rail from Brooklyn Trading,
The item arrived bent, the packaging was filthy and dirty and broken open at one end,the item was not very well protected covered in thin plastic sheeting.

After challenging Brooklyn Trading over this item, they sent another one after waiting over a weekend for it to arrive because they don't deliver at weekends, which horrified me.

The replacement rail arrived with better protection, unfortunately the product was in the same condition as the first, damaged rail and packaging filthy dirty and dusty, this was pointed out to Brooklyn Trading and it had not even been noted with it's replacement, it was simply ignored...

Brooklyn Trading was contacted for explanation as to why two of the same goods arrived in such a terrible state, no apology offered Just a refund, The Brooklyn Trading staff member I was dealing with tried to blame UK Mail for the poor condition of the product, not very clever to do so considering the items was packed by Brooklyn Trading themselves, so they would have been aware of the condition of the items prior to handing them over to UK Mail.

Brooklyn Trading have since been contacted via email, they ignored my emails, I'm now in the process of suing them...

Was a problem with the carrier and when Brooklyn trading telephoned me back they have now sorted said problem out.

Purchased some welly boots which were described as 'high quality luxury' wellies. Within 4 uses started leaking. Were 31 days old just they refused to refund or replace them as all their products only come with a 30 day warranty so unless you only want your purchase to last a month avoid!!

I reviewed Brooklyn about a week ogo but it seems to have disappeared.
I ordered a curtain rail 3rd November which didn't arrive. 16th Nov I was told they had issued a refund which also didn't arrive. I submitted an Amazon A-to-Z claim which was upheld by Amazon which has also been ignored. A few days ago they issued an unsolicited credit note which is of no use as I do not wish to buy from them again. I am still persuing a refund but I am not optomistic, even with the support of Amazon A-to-Z. Clearly customer care is very lacking

Ordered an item online valued at £28.99 only to be told I had to have it delivered at a cost of £19.99 as they don't allow anyone to order and collect if order value is less than £200.
What a ridiculous rule as they have a Store which you can visit and purchase from and yet order anything online and it has to be at least £200 for the ability to collect. No good if you live near the Store and need to purchase and collect that day.
If that's how they work Avoid.

Ordered 1 curtain pole, all fine so ordered another which turned up bent. So it was sent back and replaced no issues, however due to moving into a new house decorating etc we never opened it until we got round to doing the curtains. It is missing a finial on the end, had various scratches yet we given the token response of sorry, you time has ran out so you need to order another one. OK that may well be the company policy, but an incomplete item in my opinion is worthy of a free replacement. Small company with poor after service, happy to take money but after that don't care much. Won't use again. Check anything you order straight away as likely happens elsewhere...

I would definitely purchase from Brooklyn Trading again. The 18" chrome angled grab rails were received in a timely fashion and were exactly as described online. Not only that, they cost considerably less than other suppliers offering the same product. Excellent customer experience.

2 requests for reviews arrived long before the product so a little premature. Excellent prices. Small hiccup in delivery - the responsibility of the courier service. Goods now arrived, well packed and good condition.
