Ordered 7 weeks ago, not received item, and they haven’t responded to ANY emails with at least a rough ETA. Avoid

Like others have said, I requested a refund off them which they said they'd honor as orders were taking so long (Along with my financial situation changing meaning I could no longer pursue home brewing as a hobby, I thought - brilliant). Got an email off them today stating that my order has been shipped - 9 days after I had requested a refund! I have emailed them multiple times asking why they shipped my order when I'd put in a request for a refund 9 days prior, still haven't heard anything back. I'm now going to be left with a useless 15 gallon SS Brewtec Kettle just sitting there and gathering dust that I paid €230 for! Avoid this company like plague!

Like so many recently, I've paid immediately and haven't received my order. I ordered on 2nd April, still nothing delivered. Told I can have a refund after I've refused delivery (can't refuse a delivery that hasn't been attempted).

I reckon they've probably gone bust.

I wouldn't recommend taking a risk on this bunch. There are some good suppliers out there, shop around .

Took for 4 weeks for my order to arrive. I requested a refund and tried to contact them 3 times and got no where and them my order turned up won’t be using them again.

If you've placed an order with Brewuk but have heard nothing since and are wondering whether you have been ripped off, relax. This company is fundamentally good but has been overwhelmed lately.

I ordered some hops from them and was told that my order would take an extra 10 working days to arrive. In all, it took a month. This meant that I couldn't dry-hop my beer and the brew was far less interesting than it could have been. It wasn't a total waste of money and time, but I was disappointed in the result.

I feel that Brewuk wasn't honest about the amount of time the delivery would take. It took at least a week longer than described. This was very annoying. However, the hops eventually turned up and were as advertised.

Brew shops have been doubly inconvenienced during the lockdown: orders have increased, while staff numbers are down and postage times are up. Obviously they want to do as much business as possible but Brewuk have been foolhardy, taking on more orders than they can handle.

The delays are very annoying, and the lack of customer service seems incomprehensible. However, I think that this is a decent company going through hard times, possibly due to their own ineptitude.

In my opinion, it would be wise to reserve judgement for the time being and only order for the long term.

Like many of the reviewers I placed an order 5 weeks ago and have not received it yet. No answer on their telephone, or emails. They did send one giving me the option to get a refund, but, you guessed it, no response.

Order placed on 23rd March. Payment taken immediately.
Since then (over a month later)
- no order received
- no response to repeated emails
- no response to phone calls.
Their website says 'Due to Covid, allow 10 days shipping'. Don't believe it.
Even with Covid problems, this complete lack of response isn't good enough. Don't use this company - assuming that they are still trading.

Extremely poor customer service since the lock-down started. Order placed on April 7 still not dispatched. Will not answer the telephone and repeated emails have been ignored. Refund request has also gone unanswered. Order placed with a competitor in Derby filled yesterday am and delivered this morning. Avoid.

Thankfully one of the few outlets still trading at the moment, hence they are swamped with orders. Longer wait for delivery but that's totally understandable, I'm just glad I can still get ingredients to continue brewing!

Unfortunately like other posters the customer service for BrewUk is non existent. Have an acknowledgement of my order but no further information other than a vastly out of date announcement on their website about delays for delivery. It would really be good if they kept their customers happy by keeping them updated.

I think the recent negative reviews may be a little bit unfair. Many businesses have closed temporarily since the 23rd'ish March (including my usual goto home-brew suppler), BrewUK has kept online ordering running and their orders have massively increased because of this.

Yes this did mean longer waiting times for delivery, and the only email responses I recieved were automated, but when I finally got through on the phone their customer support was friendly and helpful, they were able to give me an update on my order which I had made on the 4th of April. I totally understand the hassles the additional demand has placed on the company, and I'm really grateful that they are still managing to supply me with my home-brew essentials in these tough times.

I will defiantly be using their services again.

I think that we can assume that we won't be getting these orders now and start proceedings to recover costs from credit cards etc. No response to myriads of attempted communications for at least 3-weeks now suggests they are not trading. Irrespective of being flat out processing orders, there should still be time to at least post an up to date holding response on their web site or social medial channels. Instead 'nothing'. Leaves room for the other suppliers to carry on the good work. I pity others that are still placing orders.

Ordered on 31st March and no shipping 16 days later.
They are not answering the phone and emails result in generic response.
The website is still open for business - even though they are not shipping.

Thank you for staying operational whilst other companies have suspended orders! 10 day wait time is really not an issue and shouldn't be when all other places aren't even giving you an option to order. The lady who I spoke to in the office was absolutely lovely, and they are all working extremely hard to get you your supplies for doing a bit of home brewing. Usually as a community, us home brewers are extremely supportive of each other (At least all the groups that I am a part of), so why can we not extend this to the people who make this possible. Thanks again Brew UK, I hope people start to realise that they're being out of order for slating you at such a difficult time for everyone.

Been two weeks since I put in my order ... nothing delivered, no response to my emails or calls ... I wouldn't mind it being late if only they have the decency to repond to me. Now I feel like they've taken my money and I won't get my order.

Poor communications... I have been waiting over 4 weeks for an order which was on pre-order. I have emailed on a couple of occasions but have had no response. I did call and they said they would advise me when it arrived but emailed again this week. It’s not a cheap order so would have expected to get some level of communications back

Very poor customer service. I bought an expensive starter kit for my husband for Christmas. Upon opening it he decided he wouldn't have time to use it so called the office as soon as it reopened to explain. We were told that was fine and to return it. I didn't hear anything from them until mid Feb when after chasing for a week I was finally told they wouldn't offer a refund due to it being a couple of days outside of their exchange period. They would make no allowances for the fact that it was Christmas or that we had been told that it was fine. I was repeatedly told that someone would call me and no one did

These guys are amazing, not just down to the range of products, but also the support they give (big shout out to Dan!). If ever I have had any issues they will immediately and without any fuss support or replace.

Cannot recommend them enough. They have the lot.
