Customer service lady was so rude
The way I was spoken to this morning by a women from customer service’Clara’ I will never buy from bing lee again! I asked to just receive a confirmation email as I didn’t receive it and she snapped at me saying ‘I can’t control when you get your email’ I spoke nicely and don’t deserve to be disrespected. Never had an issue at competitors. Happy to not deal with Bing Lee again.

Went to the Macquarie Centre store…
Went to the Macquarie Centre store looking for a microwave oven and were really fortunate to meet Jeremy who was super helpful with our search, answering all our questions patiently and we ended with a purchase. The store itself was well lit, clean and had a great layout, full but uncluttered. Will definitely visit again for future appliance needs.
Terrible after sales care
We bought an Omega oven for $800 from Bing Lee on 8 July and it was promptly delivered two days later on 10 July. We had a qualified electrician install the oven on 13 July and he found that while other functions (grill and fan, light, timer and clock) worked, the start button was not working.
On the same day, 13 July, we contacted Bing Lee’s customer team to inform them of the major fault and at their request, sent them a video showing the fault the very next day, 14 July.
18 July - Bing Lee organized for their service agent to assess the oven and the agent confirmed the major fault.
We were informed that they would repair the oven by replacing the faulty component instead of provide a replacement oven.
22 July - the service agent informed that they would not replace the component as it was not economical to repair. They would now arrange for a new oven to replace the faulty oven.
26 July - two weeks after contacting Bing Lee on the major fault, we had to call their service agent and was informed that the new oven had just arrived in the QLD warehouse (from NSW) and we were to wait for their electrician to organize an appointment from Tuesday, 30 July onwards to replace and install the oven. They could not confirm the exact date.
On receiving this information, we immediately contacted Bing Lee and requested their help to expedite the replacement. The Customer Team informed that they would contact their agent to get more information. We requested for Bing Lee Customer Team to return call the same day with a concrete solution, to which the Customer Care person agreed to. We waited and Bing Lee did not return call.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, major faults in electrical appliances should be replaced within a reasonable time. We believe 2 weeks is a more than reasonable duration for Bing Lee to work with their respective agents to organize a replacement for the oven.
We had also checked with Bing Lee earlier and they confirmed that the exact Omega oven we had purchased was available in their QLD warehouse.
Today, 27 July, it is 15 days since Bing Lee was informed of the major fault in the oven we bought from them, and we are still waiting for our replacement oven.
We hope this review informs other customers to be wary when making a purchase from Bing Lee. It might be wiser to purchase from other electrical retailers who, we believe, will take better care of their customers.
Complete junk of a company
Complete junk of a company. Impossible to return anything. They’ll make up excuses, not hassle free and not easy to deal with. Bought a Phillips humidifier doesn’t work and cannot be returned.

Ridiculous Post Sale support
I purchased $611 Kitchen Aid (KSM195) from Bing Lee online, which went faulty in 5 months. I send it back to them to get it fixed OR get it replaced. It has been already 6 weeks and I am still waiting for my Appliance. Post sale customer service from Bing Lee online is just ridiculous. I'll never buy anything again from Bing Lee online.
Sh!tty customer service after the purchase!
I am writing this review to express my unsatisfied customer service from the online team both over the phone and emails.
I purchased 2 Nest smoke alarms online 2 weeks ago. I received the order at the door last Friday afternoon (21/6) after 11am. But when I opened the parcel, there was only ONE item.
I immediately called the online order service number and spoke to a guy name Fredo. I told him that I only got 1 instead of 2 items. At first he said I have to call Australia Post, it was not his problem. I said you are the sender. If I received less than what I have paid for, then you are the first person I call. He then sent me an email to ask for the photo of what I received. Then he replied that he has sent it to the dispatch team and awaiting for the response.
On Monday 22/6, I called Australia post and waited in line for 30 mins to speak about the missing item and requested the delivery proof of the parcel. They confirmed that they only got 1 parcel from Bing Lee to ship to my address, together with the photo of delivery at my door.
Then I forwarded that email to the Fredo guy, soon after that. He called me and still repeated the same thing even I said I had a confirmation email and proof of delivery from Australia Post. If you want to contact them, they will tell you the same thing that they only got 1 parcel from you guy addressed to me. I want the refund of the 2nd item. I am no longer want it from you guys. He said: no refund and I still have to wait until further notice!
And another problem is the amend invoice from the online order. I initially ordered the microwave and the 2 Nest smoke alarms online. But you guys didn't have the microwave in stock ready to ship and I need the microwave immediately. So I requested to cancel the microwave, just send me the 2 Nest smoke alarms. The person I spoke over the phone said that was fine to do so. She will amend the invoice, correct the freight down to $10.
The amend invoice sent was correct as what she said ($368). But my Afterpay payments for Bing Lee account was $378.
Then I sent a reply email to the email that sent the amend invoice and requested to refund me $10 different. The woman name Sabita (see email forwarded below), without looking to my case and my previous invoice, she firmly confirmed that how much freight needed to be charged for my order!
Then I sent to her another email (see below) to tell her that if you place an online order with 2 Nest smoke alarms. The freight comes up only $10! Do the moral thing as a big company like yours, return what you owe me!
Until then, she proceeded the refund for freight over charged.
I have had enough BULLSH!T from your customer service.
I only received ONE item out of 2 items which I purchased online. I had proof of the delivery and what the parcel looked like the moment it reached my door and what I got inside the parcel with photos and everything. And I reported the problem immediately after I opened the parcel. I am demanding you to refund me the payment for the 2nd item which is $179 back to my Afterpay account.
I have booked an electrician to install the devices this Thursday and I do not want to cancel that service as I am taking that day off work to get it done.
Refund me what you own me immediately, otherwise I will report this case to Fair Trading and I definitely will tell everyone about your sh!tty customer care on your Google page. I am sure there were plenty of it on your review already!
Sales & Service Blacktown Mega Centre Bing Lee
Brought a laptop 2 months ago from Blacktown Mega Centre Bing Lee - computer runs excellent, exactly what I needed but ended up with a problem recently with Outlook so I went back to Bing Lee and the salesman Kevin was more than willing to help me with the issue and solved it in 1/2 hour - couldn't be more happy with the service Kevin has given me. I will definately be back to Blacktown Mega Centre Bing Lee.

Ordered a toaster when I purchased a coffee machine as they didn’t have stock. Waited 2 weeks with no update on the arrival. I called and was told it was ready to pick up. Minutes later came with the toaster, not happy she had been asked to retrieve it and dumped it on the counter and walked off. Ummm, why would I ever shop here again.
Bing Lee terrible customer seevice
I bought a Bosch Vacuum cleaner from Bing Lee with afterpay.
Anyway it died and so I rang Bosch who told me it was still under warranty so I could take it back to Bing Lee with an authority number and I could be issued a full refund.
By this time it had been paid for in full so I asked if they needed my bank details to issue a refund. I was told no that it would automatically go into my bank account through Afterpay site. was told this on a Tuesday.
On the Friday I received a phone call from Bing Lee to say that they needed my bank account details as they couldn’t do it via Afterpay as there was no money owing on it ( exactly what I had told them in the first place).
So I gave them my bank account details and was then told I would get the refund in four to five working days.
So I waited a full week and still nothing.
So I called the Head Office again and was told that they only do refunds on a Friday so I now have to wait to see if it’s done and if it goes through then there’s another four to five days wait to get my money refunded.
I then asked if this process could be done sooner but no We have to wait until Friday .
Very poor business and needless to say I will not be shopping at Bing Lee anytime soon.

Don't use them. Bad service and poor delivery. Took way longer to get the item than website says.
refused to exchange appliance
They refused to exchange expensive ($1500) propane heater (bought by mistake) for one that runs on natural gas. Didn't want $ just exchange.
They refused because the box had been opened, even though the heater was clearly never used.
Every other retailer I have ever dealt with has accepted exchange in similar circumstances. They just send back to supplier for reboxing.
Buy elsewhere or be absolutely sure you wont need to return / exchange.
Terrible Experience with Bing Lee: Faulty Product and Unhelpful Customer Service
Absolute disaster dealing with Bing Lee! Bought a humidifier that hasn't worked since day one, and when I asked for a refund, they flat out refused. Avoid this store like the plague! Head to Costco instead, where they actually care about their customers and accept returns without any hassle. Bing Lee sells nothing but junk, and their customer service is a joke. Stay far away from their Marsden Park store if you value your time and money!

Don’t buy a tv from Bing Lee. I bought a Hisense tv that didn’t work after 6 months. Bing Lee said I broke the tv and wouldn’t replace even though it was under warranty.
Rubbish Delivery Team
Rubbish Delivery Team. Turned up with a new fridge and a lazy attitude claimed they couldn’t get it through the same door which Appliances Online later used. The team didn’t even use a Bing Lee truck and I’m not sure they were their crew. After telling me they would leave the NEW fridge outside for me to sort out they damaged it simply trying to put the cardboard box back on it. You guys need an overhaul I will never buy anything from you again. Appliances Online delivered the same fridge today without any trouble.
Poor customer service, do not buy from Bing Lee
Poor customer service. Got a damaged rangehood that I bought from Bing Lee Bennetts Green. The salesperson did not help resolve the issue, but rather, redirected the issue to the original company. They only called once which I missed, where I had to go back to Bing Lee to inform them that they needed to call again. I waited and waited with no response. I complained to their customer service email demanding a technician to come and inspect the damaged goods. It was only after the constant complaining and the threat to escalate the issue to the Australian customer board that a technician suddenly came, took two photos and left without promises. I am frustrated at the lack of response from Bing Lee and how they delayed the issue.

Floor was damaged through negligence of delivery drivers. Bing lee did not accept responsibility ,so pretty much ignored and declined my concerns and left me forking out repair bill through their negligence. Worst customer experience I have ever experienced, will not shop here again nor recommend shoppers to deal with this company.

I would not recommend buying anything from Bing Lee, and should you choose to do so, please be informed that the "Premium delivery" service is not in-house delivery but contracted delivery services, contrary to the fact that it is called "BING LEE PREMIUM DELIVERY". In the event that your home is damaged during delivery, Bing Lee neglect to take responsibility. They have phoned me days after with the contact information of the delivery drivers, who are denying doing damage. I fear that the wall they broke is an asbestos wall. Bing Lee has left us in an awful situation and clearly do not care about the damage they have caused or the stress they continue to put us in while we wonder if our health has been compromised.
