Company over to his products that they see are in stock and they are not. They take your money and you can’t get a refund avoid at all costs. I had to go to my bank to get a refund. They also never answer the phone or emails.

I would give -5 if i could appauling company never reply to emails or answer the telephone. Trying to get a replacement or refund for a damaged order. Do not buy from this company. Having to claim back through my bank now

Still waiting, shy of two days off a month, for a refund for a sink to be returned when their refund policy is 15 days. I Email and Call every week and when I actually get through I am told ‘it’s being processed and will call back’, they never do. I’d really like my near £400 back on my credit card before I start taking things up a level.

I ordered three small kitchen utensils in June 2025. After nine days, I had heard nothing and had received nothing. So I chased them I and was informed that one of the items had been discontinued. We agreed to continue with the other two items and to refund me for the discontinued item. They did refund that amount. However the other two items simply never arrived. I chased them several times and, running out of patience, I asked for a refund. I asked for this on numerous occasions. They kept saying YES but no refund was forthcoming. Eventually I raised the issue with my credit card company and, within a week, the outstanding amount was refunded to me. The refund happened more than 11 weeks after I placed the order. It was not a huge amount of money involved but it was the principle of getting refunded that was important to me. Don't get involved with Batley DIY. Not worth the hassle.

I ordered a hot tub 25 June 2025 with a delivery time of 2 to 7 business days. After waiting until 18 July with no delivery, I decided to cancel. I have heard nothing since and so raised a dispute with Klarna. I am still waiting for my money back... I cannot get hold of Batley DIY by email or phone.
Possibly worth noting that the holding company of BATLEY D.I.Y. CENTRE LIMITED, KAVIELON LIVING LIMITED, is in the process of being struck off (see the records for this company at Companies House).

I ordered a Timeless Grande water feature on the 28th June which was originally delivered by DPD in a damaged condition and unable to be used. Since early July I have tried to contact Batley DIY fir a refund by telephone and email. Only one reply has been received indicating the DPD was responsible for the damage and that an investigation was under way. No further replies from them even after numerous emails and non answered telephone calls. Never deal with this abysmal company.

After 7 days of order, when i contacted to know why the toilet and sink was not delivered , I was told that they are still preparing my order and it'll take few days to ship. I requested cancel and refund , but was never refunded after many many times reminded. So had to go through back dispute to get my money back.

Worst online experience.

Batley DIY is the worst online retailer from whom I've ever bought goods. Lies & prevarication are their main stock-in-trade: I reported two items which arrived broken & was immediately given a dishonest promise to replace them. A day later a pack of wifi switches they sold me proved faulty. My complaint this time was completely ignored despite several emails and reference to the Small Claims Court. It is now two months since my first complaint and they have done nothing to refund my £29 loss. They tried to pass it on to Evri, the carrier who damaged my parcel, knowing that Evri cannot deal with me as recipient. Daewoo also responded to my negative review with another false promise to replace the switches but of course never intended to do so. I just wish I'd read the other Trustpilot reviews before ordering from Batley. I am tempted to pay them a visit, despite the distance.

Shocking they ripped off my mother who is on pension credit and charged her for the item she ordered x 12 times. No reply to emails, phone goes unanswered! How is this company still trading!!

Faulty item which i reported to klarna and despite ignoring me theyve responded to klarna and refused to refund !

I have been waiting for several weeks for a refund for over £100. Following two phone calls trying to persuade me to accept goods instead of the refund, plus an email confirming the refund would be processed, I am still awaiting payment and for this issue to be resolved. I am now at the stage where I will have to contact trading standards and report this as keeping funds without processing any order or dispatching any product is really poor customer service.

Terrible company. I ordered a small item over three weeks ago which is yet to arrive. Having tried to contact them numerous times on the telephone which has never been answered and emailing them twice, I have not been responded too. I will be taking this further. A message to all, avoid at all costs!!

Batley has closed down their physical premises (but claims to still be online) I ordered online a week back and received an email stating order had shipped with a tracking code, but EVRI is still waiting to receive the order.
Tried to contact Batley directly - they're not answering phones (very worrying) and the only method of communication is the website AI (which is worse than useless, as Im still waiting for a human to join the conversation 20mins later...
I eventually made contact with a person who harangued me tried to tell me that the email I received stating the order was on its way is actually saying the order is waiting to be collected by Evri (4 days later). He then went on to tell me I should not write negative reviews and they are not answering phones because they're busy with other customers !

My original review was deleted (as requested by BatleyDIY as they claimed that I broke TrustPilot guidelines by naming a person by the first letter of their name.)

Be Aware that BatleyDIY actively chases bad reviews and attempts to have them removed.

AVOID - AVOID - AVOID. Placed an order for 6 tins of paint in mid-May. These were not delivered and I requested a refund of my money. Received several emails saying that the refund was being processed but no refund so far. Have had to go to the hassle of raising a payment dispute with my credit card company. People running this company ought to be ashamed of themselves and their business ethics.

Product received was broken. Clearly returned item where someone had broken the electrical component housing. £15 product so can’t be bothered with return process.

Took the money; did not supply the goods. Website says item is in stock and order being processed but it's been three weeks. No reply to contacts. No update. Nothing. I've reported to bank. Nothing to suggest it's anything but a scam. If a refund arrives, I'll change this review, but I'm not holding my breathe.

Absolutely terrible company my mum ordered a pool for my daughter and it came and didn't inflate properly still trying to get a refund 5 weeks later keep

STAY WELL CLEAR

Took my money but didn't even process order. Now I can't get a refund ... keep saying it is being "finalised".
Ignoring my emails and calls so I have contacted Trading Standards.
Don't use this Company - rip off!!
