Great service from this garage, very reliable and approachable. Highly recommend.

The work they did was good, but they tried to overcharge me by approx. £50. I challenged the final cost as it was more than I had been quoted. I asked what else had been done and he said 'the brakes were really dirty' (as opposed to just 'dirty'). When I came to collect and challenged the final cost, the staff member then said something along the lines of 'well I could do it for [the original price]' and could not provide an explanation for why I had been charged an extra £50. Really disappointed as I've had great experience with them before and the staff, but will now be avoiding in future and going with a more trusted garage.

The work they do is good, but be wary of what you're being charged, make sure you can get a quote before work is done and ask exactly what has been done when you go to collect.

Matt and the team at Uttoxeter ATS are impeccable! Matt ALWAYS does the best he can for me. I will never go anywhere else. Such great service and a proper gent to deal with. As are the rest of the team.

All work carried out today, including brake pads, interim service and fuel filter replacement. Staff were helpful and polite and knowledgeable. My only issues were a strong smell of diesel in my car cabin with the blowers on, indicating spilt diesel under the bonnet after the fuel filter replacement . Not great, but expected I suppose (I cleaned the diesel myself around canister and other surrounding under bonnet areas) the smell has gone slightly. The main problem is that my interior trim in my R LINE VW GOLF MK8 is like a light grey coloured suede material, and the mechanics hands sadly left black oil residue on my inner driver side suede material on the inside of the drivers door, and on my driver seat (at the sides) and on my leather steering wheel. I don’t mind the steering wheel, but the seat and door panel bothers me, as It took me ages to clean, and the marks are still visible despite cleaning for 30 minutes, and it’s quite annoying to look at. Not happy to be honest. I don’t think the mechanic who worked on my car used a plastic disposable seat cover at all. It’s rare I review anything other than 5 stars. I feel like 3 stars would be more honest, although 4 stars is what I’ve actually rated . Overall, a good service and fair price and very nice staff.

Replaced discs and pads with no fuss or issues. Good value for money. Staff very helpful as always.

We would like to give ATS Uttoxeter a big shout out after my visit there today.

I had not attended there by choice having been brought in by the AA after I had experienced 2 tyre blow outs in a pothole so was not feeling particularly humorous. The guys at ATS however worked so hard to replace the tyres as smoothly and quickly as possible and were very empathetic.

They could not have been more helpful and I would highly recommend ATS at Uttoxeter.

They were ready to service the car when we arrived at the arranged time. They contacted us when the work was complete and explained all the checks that had been undertaken.

My experience at ATS was an excellent experience, they were friendly, nothing was too much trouble and my car was noticeably much better to drive. I would recommend them without hesitation.
