I would not book with Apple Vacations…
I would not book with Apple Vacations again. I was pregnant when I booked and was told adding my infant after birth would be no problem. That turned out to be false. I spent 3-4 days on hold, over an hour each call, trying to get him added. A month before the trip I was finally told he was on the reservation and paid the lap infant fee.
On the day we flew out, he wasn’t listed. Finding that out at the airport, traveling internationally with kids, was terrifying. It got sorted, but only after more stress than it should have taken. I asked Apple to confirm he’d be listed for the return flight too, and was told it was handled. It wasn’t. On our departure day he was missing again. I called from Punta Cana already alarmed and pressed for time, sat on hold 40 minutes, and was told there was nothing they could do, maybe the airport would have him listed. They didn’t. We had to fix it ourselves, in a country where we don’t speak Spanish, in an already high-stress moment.
On top of that, their shuttle back to the airport makes you carry all your own luggage. Nothing about this was stress-free. Apple Vacations takes a cut of this trip and did nothing to earn it. If anything, they made a bad situation worse.
Incompetent Customer Service, Terrible experience
We booked a vacation through Apple Vacations as a family of four. Our arrival went perfectly, the flight was great, the hotel we picked was fabulous. The problems began with Apple Vacations when my son got food poisoning at the resort on our third day. He had to be admitted to the hospital and we needed to change our flights, extend our stay, and asked Apple Vacations for help as our travel agency. We made several calls the first day in the hospital, both my husband and myself were left on hold for 30 minutes, our calls were dropped and the team at Apple Vacations that had our phone numbers because they ask at the beginning of the call for us to confirm them, but none of their team members called us back. My husband worked with the hotel we were in for hours to try and get us a room at the resort we were staying at. He was unable to do so. We were forced to book a second location by ourselves because at that point it was clear that Apple Vacations did not return calls or help us. My husband called on Wednesday 22nd of July 2026 to have Apple Vacations change our return flights. The attendant at Apple Vacations booked us a brand new flight, but failed to get the tickets we already paid for, and the seat upgrades and baggage that we had already paid for forwarded to the new flight. They messed up because when I called Frontier about our bags not being forwarded to the new flights, Frontier informed me that it looked like on their end that we were no-shows for our original booking. They were able to fix it, but I had to call multiple times to get Apple Vacations to issue us a refund for the difference. That never should have happened. I called Apple Vacations when we returned to get help, the customer service person was unable to do anything for me, I asked to speak to a manager, they were reluctant to get me on the phone with a person and promised that they would call me back immediately after they got out of a meeting. It has been more than 24 hours and I have not received a call. This is the worst experience we have ever had with a "travel agency." People get sick, but when you book with an agency, there is an expectation of assistance when you are in a foreign country and do not speak the language. They failed to do anything right. They outsourced their team to a foreign workers who are incompetent and barely speak English. DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE.
UPDATE: After 10 days of dealing with the "post travel" department I have yet to receive a call from a manager. I got an email from a lady named Lisa that management was consulted and they decided that they did enough for me and were not willing to offer any kind of compensation, even though I provided my phone records showing they never called me back, my husband back, never emailed us, never called the hotel and tried to reach us through our room. They tried to arrange our transpiration, but I had already done that myself. So they said that since they tried to do that, they did assist and therefore, we don't deserve compensation for being stranded in a foreign country by our "travel agency."
Absolutely terrible company.
I have been using apple vacation for…
I have been using apple vacation for over 30 years. The service is fabulous and even when they made an error, they admitted it and resolved it. My only issue is that I wish that repeat customers would get a discount.
Never use Apple Vacations again
Never use Apple Vacations again. All they do is give you a run around! The hotel I was in gave me a refund notice for 3 nights since I left early as the accommodations were not good. It has been 3 months and Apple is still dragging their feet on my refund. Hotel gave them approval for refund so it should be a simple process. Comes out of hotel for the loss but Apple has an excuse every time. Would never recommend Apple vacations! Best to book your own trip or with travel agent but don’t let them use rip off Apple Vacation.
Marketing ADs UNWANTED
I have been receiving marketing ads for several days up to as many 10+ ads. I searched the email for the word "unsubscribe" to remove my info anywhere they have it. Unfortunately there is nowhere in these marketing ads to unsubscribe. I finally called the company and I was very angry. Why? They informed me to use the 3 little dots on the corner to unsubscribe. No unsubscribe again. They informed me they only send these ads to emails who subscribe to them. I have NEVER USED THEM AND NEVER WILL. It's high time thst these marketing ads include the option "UNSUBSCRIBE" clearly in the ads. I am pursuing to see what can be done legally to stop these marketing ads.
Never use this company
Never use this company. They are dishonest and customer service is horrible. Getting a 50% refund back, first the resort attached this company to an email stating this, they never emailed me back and I’ve emailed them twice. They never got back to my travel agent. I called to tell them the card on file is not active i closed the account. They tried telling me that they couldn’t take my new card and they did not even process the refund yet then They told me they had to charge the card that is not active until it bounces back to them declined and THEN they can take my new card. Then tried to tell me to contact my bank because the transaction processed. My bank said there’s no possible way the account is closed and even though i opened a new account with the same bank it will still decline and that apple vacations needs to take my new card and refund that card. I’ve been dealing with this for a week and never will i again book with them
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
dishonest and deceiving. No customer service whatsoever.
Booked 5 star hotel according to Apple vacation and it was 4 star. Tried to reach out to customer service but it’s literally nonexistent
Don't Ever Use Apple Vacations!
Apple Vacations has THE worst communication I have ever experienced in my life. I'm not even exaggerating. I got incorrect info when we booked, which was followed by more and more incorrect info from others over and over. When you call you wait forever to talk to someone so I opted for the email conversation, which was good because I had written proof of the inconsistent information I was given left and right. Every time you reply, someone else replies to you and does not even attempt to read the info in the thread before they reply. The managers are no better. I talked to a manager because I couldn't get logged into the airline for my trip. I was told from booking that we would get an airline specific confirmation number. I finally did and it didn't work. Then I was told we couldn't do things ourselves through the airline because it's a charted flight. We have to do everything through Apple directly. OK. So once we decided we were going to check a bag, I called to get it added. They told me they can't. I said well you have to because I can't do it myself. I asked to talk to a manager, they told me to do it through the airline. I went round and round with them until they finally found someone who knew how to add the bag. The same thing happened with the info about a free carry-on bag. I had about 10 people tell me we DO get a free carry on and I had just as many people tell me I don't get one. Then, to get the resort booking info so I could check in online...wow. They gave me the wrong number 4x before I finally just called the resort and got it myself. Apple Vacations is WORTHLESS. Book it yourself!! Save yourself the headaches.
Their mistake, my consequence
We booked a trip to an all-inclusive in Riviera Maya. The agent who booked our trip got the airline dates correct: (June 9-16), but booked our resort for 9-13. We didn’t notice that until a few weeks later. I called support and was on the phone for 90 minutes. They acknowledged it was their mistake and we would have to add a new reservation. I asked that since the mistake was theirs, a discount should apply. I didn’t want a free room, or major compensation. However, more than fifty “I’m sorries” from the slow representative didn’t ease the frustration. She said she asked her supervisor if they could compensate in some way. He told her none of the discount codes apply to our situation. There could have been compensation if they wanted. I’m glad I noticed the error prior to our arrival. The additional $924 cost was a surprise. This is my first and last time booking through Apple.
Our travel agent booked the trip for a…
Our travel agent booked the trip for a large group of us and then never offered any follow up on the trip even though it was an international trip. When we would contact her with questions it would be over a week without a response. She never offered to book us group dining at the resort. Travel arrangements to and from the airport were a nightmare. Would not recommend.
Apple Vacations is the literal worst
Where to start with Apple Vacations. They are terrible to deal with. The customer services is awful and unhelpful. Apple has forgotten they are the business and need customers to spend money with them. They are really the only site\company that does all inclusive vacation packages so they think they can be rude and dismissive with customers. As soon as there is another company that starts competing with Apple they will lose their monopoly they have in this market I will gladly never deal with this company again
Hope you never need a refund!
After waiting for my refund for 31 days, I called Apple Vacations. I was told they weren't refunding my money until they look it over again. Spirit told me they were refunding my money $641. Here I sit wondering what apple will refund me and when. Never again!
Support is horrendous
Support is horrendous, based in India ( which is ok) ,problem is they have no capabilities to make changes on flights, tried to extend a trip, said he'd call back with new flights, never heard back, said he had to go to his support. Book on your own, make changes freely.
⸻ please don’t do business with Apple application

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Apple Vacations.
My flight was canceled due to an issue that was NOT caused by me and was NOT requested by me. I never asked for any changes. I booked my vacation exactly how I wanted it, and I even paid extra to secure a direct flight because that was very important to me.
Now I am being told that if I still want to go on my vacation, I would have to pay almost 50% more, and the only option offered includes a connecting flight — which is exactly what I paid extra to avoid in the first place. How is that fair?
On top of that, instead of a full refund back to my credit card, I was given a partial credit with nearly $600 deducted from what I originally paid. I do not believe I should be penalized financially for a mistake that was not mine.
I still want to take my vacation, but I want what I originally paid for — a direct flight at no additional cost. If that cannot be honored, I expect a full refund back to my original form of payment.
I have been a good customer and did nothing wrong. This situation makes me feel like I am being punished for something that was completely out of my control. I am asking Apple Vacations to make this right
Lack Transparency w/ Refunds
Unfortunately, due to the devastation Hurricane Melissa left on Jamaica, I had to cancel my vacation. My all-inclusive stay at the Hyatt Rose Hall was booked through my travel agent using Apple Vacations. Hyatt offered full refunds to guests because the resort will not be able to receive visitors until 2026.
When my travel agent first contacted Apple Vacations about canceling, they stated there would be a $50 per-person deduction. After further inquiries, Apple Vacations finally agreed to refund the full amount. However, the catch was that it would take up to 30 days to process.
Throughout the entire process, Apple Vacations refused to communicate with me directly, insisting that all questions—even simple ones—go through my travel agent. Today marks the 30-day mark, and I still have not received my refund.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating. In a situation caused by a natural disaster, consumers should not have to chase down information or wait indefinitely for money owed to them. I expected far better service, transparency, and responsiveness from Apple Vacations.
Unapologetically stranded us in DR
Apple Vacations unapologetically left us stranded in a foreign country. We have booked through Apple Vacations many times, both family vacations and getaways for the two of us, but never again. We booked an all-inclusive package for a wedding in the Dominican Republic. The last day of our vacation, we used the confirmation code provided by Apple for our flight home & no tickets were found by the airline. When we called Apple (about 6 times), we were informed that our ticket had been canceled and the only thing they could do was sell us the exact same flight for full price a second time! Of course, we were not going to be foolish enough to trust them with it again, but we also had no choice but to repurchase the tickets (directly through the airline this time). I hate to think what would happen to people who didn't have the resources to repurchase tickets that had already been paid for or if you were traveling with a large group.
We booked the Waldorf Astoria Dubai…
We booked the Waldorf Astoria Dubai through Apple Vacations, and while the resort looks nice on the surface, our experience has been incredibly disappointing.
The biggest issue is the outrageous food and drink prices. Meals and beverages are shockingly expensive — far beyond what you would expect, even at a luxury property. It feels like you’re constantly being overcharged just to enjoy basic dining.
When we realized how unreasonable it was, we tried to move to another resort. That’s when we were told our stay was completely non-refundable. The problem? Nowhere in our Apple Vacations travel documents did it say this resort was non-refundable. Had we known, we never would have booked here.
Now we are stuck here through September 1st, unhappy and frustrated. For a Waldorf-branded property and for Apple Vacations, this lack of transparency and fairness is unacceptable.
Yes, the resort itself is beautiful, but the experience has been ruined by poor communication, sky-high food and beverage pricing, and the inability to leave without losing all of our money.
I was told by Apple they are just a broker…they obviously don’t care about customers experiences. Long hold times, can’t speak to anyone in the US. What a joke. The Mullens family has really outdid themselves 👌👎
Apple Vacations Failed to Protect…
Apple Vacations Failed to Protect Customers – Unsafe Experience at RIU Montego Bay I am writing this review regarding Apple Vacations and the handling of a disturbing and unsafe incident at RIU Montego Bay, Jamaica, which was booked through Apple.
During my stay on July 18-22 2025, another guest attempted to break into my room. After failing, he urinated and defecated in front of my door. I reported this immediately to resort staff. Security removed the individual from my doorway but allowed him to return to his room with no consequences. The next day, the resort manager admitted she had “no authority” to compensate me.
I escalated the issue to RIU corporate, who denied responsibility and pushed the matter back to Apple Vacations. Apple’s response was to offer me a $150 travel credit for this traumatic and unsanitary incident. I find this resolution unacceptable and dismissive.
This was not a minor inconvenience — it was a serious breach of guest safety, security, and sanitation. Apple Vacations advertised this property as a safe, all-inclusive experience, and failed to ensure accountability when a major safety issue occurred. Offering $150 credit trivializes the incident and shows a lack of responsibility for customer welfare.
I want other travelers to know: if something goes wrong, Apple Vacations will not stand behind you. Be very cautious booking through them.
The rotten Apple in the bunch
The rotten Apple in the bunch. Booked a honeymoon in Aruba, at RIU resort. The resort was awful, and Apple could care less.
Just returned from Royal Decameron…
Just returned from Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach. When we arrived we discovered the whole resort had not had hot water in the rooms for 2 weeks. No hot water for first 5 days of our stay. Would have been nice if Apple would have notified us prior to our departure to give us the option to reschedule.
