Don't pay with Apple pay!
There's not a way to get a refund (when you're eligible for that), They make you waste time, sending the request, asking to review their decision, contacting the call center, At the end no money back, the answer from Apple is.. "if Apple didn't approve it there's nothing I can do" ah?, And that's all, that huge company just take your money.. DON'T PAY WITH APPLE PAY!

Absolutely no chance of getting a refund on a purchase using Apple Pay they simply don’t want to know. They said I wasn’t eligible so I appealed it & still refused. I’m at a loss. Avoid using Apple Pay as convenient as it may seem. I have now asked for help from the ombudsman as this needs stopping. A very large company scamming innocent people

I disputed a transaction, back in October, the money came out of my account. Then they credited my account for the amount which had already been taken out of my account and not credited back to my account and then charge me the amount again. So $1400 later I’m looking for the fastest way to pay the credit card off and cancel it.

I am a victim of a sim swap. I have lost everything and apple has refused to help me recover my stolen money. I showed them proof of the scam. I did everything they asked me to do. Filed a police report, contacted FTC, and Attorney General. They still won’t budge. They are treating me as if I am lying or a criminal.
What makes Apple Cash and Green Dot any better than the hackers who stole my money in the first place? Nothing.

Watch out for promotional scams. I signed up and saw a promotion that stated you can spend $75 at Nike and get $75 back. I did so but later found out that I did not qualify for the promotion because I used my physical card and not apple pay on my phone.

Pretty ridiculous. Called customer service and the gentleman on the line disclosed that I did not qualify. They agreed it was pretty ludicrous and escalated to a supervisor. Just got done speaking to one and they said I still do not qualify so I canceled. Going to stick with my Southwest mileage card.

There is no security with your payment if you want a refund. ( if it’s a scam and the merchant doesn’t respond or want to honor a refund). You’re out of luck - no matter what the amount - if you use ApplePay

Never use this service. It is very dangerous for your finance. Hackers do love apple pay. i am a victim and apple had a very bad reaction : no action. They say their system is very sure. It is very sure for hackers Run away! Apple use the number of your card agreement. Even if you oppose your card the hacker can continue to use your new card as Apple pay automatically use your New card. Apple has no control on its service.

What a great idea and what a shame that it is so unreliable. The prospect of not having to carry my cards ,that if stolen can be used contactless until noticed, has great appeal where as the phone can be protected by password, fingerprint or eye recognition which should give some security. Unfortunately the frequency that the payment is denied is unacceptable and I now still have to carry my cards. Cannot understand why with modern technology if there is any doubt why a quick message to the phone cannot be used to verify the transaction.

I mean seriously has everyone lost their minds linking banking details with a product from a company called apple !? , give them your soul full control of your life and finances what you can spend and when and where , because it is coming day by day . xDD

So, bought some goods from a company in Europe, 2 months ago using Apple pay. Goods have not arrived and cannot get a refund as the company has gone to ground. Tried Apple pay for a refund, useless they take no responsibility whatsoever.
Stick with PayPal, Amazon, etc at least they have a refund policy.

I ordered to a friend and Apple Pay changed the address after I had processed the payment. Items lost! On phone to Apple Pay for over an hour. Nice people but accepting no responsibility for what’s happened and won’t reimburse the items even though sent screen shots to evidence it was their fault. So frustrating!!

Bought a HP printer and though i just downloaded the recommended app but then suddenly my phone was closed because Applepay withdraw money form me properly from ink that i know i never order - I never apply for apple pay or did 'nt at not notice how this happen - Very problematic... I'm very angry how this could happen to me????? Under my installation I have in my mind that ill not invest money in any of their product but somehow they tricked me? Saw no warning sign that i was becoming a applepay custumers

If Apple is going to play in the financial services industry you need to up your game. You are dealing with people's money and your service is horrible. After being declined on Apple Pay for making a peer to peer payment, I spoke with my bank per the message provided by apple within the app. My bank (Chase) answered the call within seconds, got me to a specialist and resolved any issues on Chase's side. I then was still getting declined due to Apple reversing the charges. I then called Apple to have them resolve their issue. I sat on hold for 12 minutes, then got a a tier 1 agent who then transferred me to tier 2 to hold longer.
A few minutes later I was dropped. I was called back and then continued to sit on hold for another 30 minutes until the tier 2 specialist answered. The tier 2 specialist tried to blame it on my friend whom I was sending money to saying he was declining the transaction. However the Apple Pay app was instantaneously declining the transaction and saying it was the banks fault. Obviously there is a gap in knowledge of their own offering and system. I was then asked to hold longer for a tier 3 agent. The tier 2 agent couldn't tell me how long it was going to take to speak with anyone and just kept saying, "would you be willing to continue to hold"? The tier 2 agent continued to find reasons that were invalid to explain the issue and had no ability to get help. Apple not only had inadequate and inexperienced people for tier 2, they chose to not give them support for a tier 3 or supervisor to help out without waiting in a continuous unadvised hold queue.

This is ridiculous Apple and your service is substandard to PayPal, Venmo, Samsung Pay or just traditional banking. You should be very ashamed Apple.
