I got scammed from Apple Pay in second time and I just checked my account and it’s taken.
So will not used Apple Pay again.

..does'nt warn or stop you of scam accounts or private info that culd be taken from domains yur accessing.

Apple Pay ask for identity verification when someone sent me a payment. I accidentally put the shorter version of my first name and not the legal. They permanently restricted my account. Unable to get to the funds transferred to me. This is an easy fix that Apple Pay is unwilling to.

I had a free trial to Prime Video with a card on file. I never have money in Apple Pay, but someone sent me $10 that way. Apple Pay allowed Amazon to take 95% of the money in my account, which is bad because I never authorized a payment beyond the free trial and I definitely never authorized Apple Cash as a payment source. I needed that little money to survive. I spoke with their customer service multiple times, and I was treated like a bum with cognitive disabilities. Just Awful!!!!

Just been scammed via Apple pay!!!!
Some dating site in Malta took out 5 amounts.
Reported it to my bank who have refused any liability and told me it was my use of Apple pay that was compromised.
Now I wait to see if Apple provide any guarantee behind their supposed Fort Knox app.

I would have given them no stars but it won't let me. negative stars would be more accurate. This program is a threat to everyone. its a data miner paymaster who bends your fingers over the fence to force you into using them as a paymaster for processing application payments. its illegal activity at a corporate level, its strongarming, its theft, datamining, misleading, misrepresentation, and most importantly its legally called coersion/ransomware. you are unable to use your device at full capacity unless you unlock more of the device by agreeing to use apple pay as your paymaster and updating payment data. totally illegal at every single level. you can't have that in a contract with a buyer of a phone, its strongarming and coersion and ransomware...oh we'll sell you the phone, but you can't download anything unless you use this other service too! always! forever! or you can't use the download app functions at all from the app store, which i bought a 1000$ to do......thieves...never again...absolutely atrocious. apple needs tossed into the volcano with microsoft at this point. liars, thieves, cheats! pirates!

Watch transactions closely! Can't pay for icloud backup annually, must pay monthly. Same with device protection. 24 transactions rather than 2. Am FORCED to have a payment method on file. Asked if I could pay from bank account, NO. Was told to deposit $100 in apple wallet; thought charges would go through there and be a little easier to manage, but that was wrong. Spent 3 hrs w/3 ppl tyring to straighten it out. Although they TAKE your money instantly, it takes from 2-7 days to get a refund. Subscriptions are a MESS. When you download a subscription, you'll pay whatever apple wants to charge. Downloaded app on iphone then ipad and wound up w/2 subscriptions. One subscription varied in pricing as much as 40% and there were a DOZEN options. Finally check with companies and switched to pay them directly, when possible. Must go through apple's "report a problem" to identify most transactions b/c when they hit my bank account, descriptions are terrible. Love my iphone & ipad, but am going back to android. Don't trust them any more. Cust Svc is great, but I've never been able to sync ipad/iphone and PC, have called a dozen times. They make it hard to use any MS products. Becomes confusing b/c you're forced to use their apps in addition to the ones you actually use. google's just as bad. Money mgmt used to be much easier. Hate it when restaurants process payments with my debit card through apple pay or other platforms. Not sure why I'm complaining, just a small customer, they won't care if they lose my business.

Poor process of how refunds are considered.
Lack of actually talking to a person that processes the refunds.
There is a lack of communication by talking to a person that actually decides whether a credit will be issued.
Need more details by customer service, who is able to complete refunds directly to customer.

Apple Cash lets any unconfirmed vendors charge the payment system. If at some point you suspect you’ve been scammed they will not help you dispute that charge. I spoke to multiple reps and they don’t even care to get any information because they know they aren’t going to help you to dispute the charge. I’m honestly disgusted at how they treat these situations. I’ve been a loyal user for years but now I realize they don’t care if you use them or not.

Gebruik GEEN APPLEPAY. Frauduleuze en/of malafide bedrijven hebben vrijelijk toegang tot uw bankrekening zonder dat er enige verantwoording ligt bij Apple en uw bank. Als er met gestolen bankgegevens uw rekening wordt belast dan is dat jammer voor u, maar zij die dit proces faciliteren(Uw bank en Apple) hebben geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid. Ik werd werd belast door FACEYOGA een bedrijf dat zit op Cyprus en de Maagdeneilanden, op zich al dubieuze locaties. Ik gebruik geen TIKTOK of wat dan ook, wat volgens een onsympathieke en drammerige ABN-er wel is gebeurd dat ik "iets" heb aangeklikt. Hoe kan ik iets aanklikken wat ik niet gebruik. Oude man 75 jaar heeft geen enkele behoefte aan een Face-yoga nodig en zoekt daar ook niet naar op internet. Volgens afschuiverige ABN zou dat wel gebeurd zijn ook kunnen ze die partij op mijn verzoek niet blokkeren op mijn rekening. Kortom gebruik dus geen APPLEPAY en haal uw Apple Wallet weg van uw telefoon.

Apple Pay niet gebruiken. Ze gaan in zee met bedrijven die particulieren oplichten. Als je hier een melding van maakt kunnen of willen ze je niet helpen en jij als particulier bent het geld mooi kwijt.

Don’t use Apple Pay. They allow sellers to charge your account with unauthorised purchases, It’s so annoying and they don’t care either. Stupid f wits.

And when I complain they refuse to accept there mistake!! And still waiting to resolve the problem !! Is pity from such big company !! They can not stop scammers , shame

Applepay is pure Kafka. Never the fault of Apple, the user is doing something wrong. The user could easily end up in jail.

I would put “0” stars. Apple Pay IS NOT a safe form of payment. I have used it only twice in different instances a year apart form each other. In both occasions my card has been hacked. The most recent was a deposit for a puppy. The merchant insisted in using Apple Pay. Double stupidly on my part: put deposit for a puppy (scam 1) and paying using Apple Pay (I should have known better)

Essentially, I have been black listed from ever using Apple Cash in the future due to reporting fraud with my bank instead of the bank Apple Cash directly. They informed me that they made the business decision to permanently disable my account and there is no way to reopen this. To me, this feels like I am being discriminated as the person committing the fraud when I was the one who got robbed and had to deal with a nasty situation. Maybe if I was the type of person who wouldn’t get robbed, Apple Cash would like my business.

Firstly they have listed a lot of junk apps for subscription and their only responsibility is to milk revenues out of it.
I paid INR 799 for NovaBeats subscription that never got activated date and time of transaction 15th May 2024 time 20:20 hrs IST.
Spent over and hour with the apple executive for refund and hopefully should get it in 48 hours or so.
