What u think is an absolute joke of a wage !!!

Lacking any compassion, kindness,or heart they basically have said go to hell to a disabled human being.

My water supply was contaminated deliberately by Anglian waters own engineers on behalf of my neighbour Trudy Barnes at fifteen carpenters way Doddington who also used my landlords plumber Jason Hearn from March in Cambridgeshire to provide them with the contaminants I have not had drinking water for six weeks and have stopped my direct debit and would suggest you direct all your enquiries to the Metropolitan police who are investigating.
Water meter burst
Water meter burst. For the grace of god it didn’t rocket the water bill. Raised Easter weekend on a Saturday, a polite engineer out today Tuesday after getting part needed from Ipswich. Thank you again for the swiftness and all staff have been extremely polite.

On the 23rd December 2024 we was just about to leave our house to go food shopping for Christmas as I looked through to our garden and to find it was being FLOODED with the streets foul (not the just ours) I spent the next few hours on the phone to Anglian water trying to get to sort the issue, they came out had and look and said ( I think you have a blockage)!
No problem,had a clean down rodded it, no more issues…. (So we thought!!!).
A year later 26th February 2025 the same thing happens again, we call Anglian water again and said the same thing has happened and our garden is flooded with the street’s sewage please come help stop this as I have 2 children and 2 dogs that cannot go onto the garden…!
They came out had a look said nothing was wrong it was our system backing up! (Hang on)?????
Okay!!!!!….. roll on 14th Feb 2026 same issue arises (Anglian water called)
24th Feb same thing again (Anglian water called)
18th march same thing (Anglian water called)
21st march same thing (Anglian water called) (environmental health called) bates came out and and said we need a non return valve fitting to stop this happening!!!
23rd march same thing (Anglian water called) someone came (jack) and put a camera down and said it wasn’t our sides fault it’s definitely coming from the mains side!
25th march same thing (Anglian water called)
26th march same thing (Anglian water called)
30th march same thing! (Somone came out to sort the situation alone to a 2man job so had to reschedule) (also called his supervisor ( who was clearly heard on the phone saying (me) I don’t know what I’m on about and that I’m saying I need a NRV needs fitting and that I’m wrong!! It was told by bates I needed this I didn’t make this up!
30th march pm 2 men came put a camera down and cleaned the pipes out and said that should hopefully solve the problem but they wasn’t sure they agreed a NRV needed fitting but wasn’t sure home it could happen on their side unless they done it on our side but apparently I’d if needs to go on our side they wouldn’t want to do it as we own our own house!!!! (WTF)
Wed 1st April overflow again in our garden worse than it was before!
Wed 1st April somone called (went to voice mail) to say they was coming to sort the problem, called on a no number left a message to say he was trying to find us but didn’t give me a number to call him back on! So no one tired up again!!! Environmental health was called again!
Friday 3rd April - same thing happened again but was flooding the garden more then before, Anglian water was called again and told that our child had unfortunately fallen onto the foul in the garden and got it on her! It was flagged as an urgent matter now, had a call tonight to say they will be out to unblock us within 5 days!!! We do not have a blockage in our pipes it’s the mains that can’t cope with their overflow and it’s pushing back up into our garden!
Anglian water are an absolute joke! If anyone can help please do so because I am literally pulling my hair out about this and I don’t want my children or dogs getting ill over this!
This is a huge health and safety and infection issue and Anglian water don’t seem to be bothered in the slightest about it!
Sad thing is I got told this would be resolved In 24h as I have children and dogs and we are still waiting over a year later!

Terrible company. Being out of water for days and still nothing is done to fix the issue. Please avoid them by all means terrible company. Bad service
No water, no information!
Water has been off in my village and a large part of the surrounding area since yesterday evening (it's now 2 pm). There have been no updates on the issue whatsoever on the Anglian Water website - it just confirms there's an issue with one of their pumps and it's taking longer than expected to fix. It says that they'd prefer to fix the issue than make other arrangements to provide alternative sources of water. This isn't good enough when you've been completely without water for more than 18 hours. I tried calling but the line is engaged. I tried the chatbot but that just gives the same standard answer (totally useless) to any question I ask. You only get to accurately evaluate the quality of any supplier when something goes wrong and you can see how they deal with it - suffice it to say, Anglian Water hasn't covered themselves in glory!

The Customer Service at Anglian Water is Rubbish
The customer service at Anglian Water is absolutely terrible. There are no real options to get proper support — their chatbot is useless, giving random, meaningless answers that have nothing to do with what you ask. It feels like it’s designed to push customers away rather than help them.
The WhatsApp service is even worse: you wait for more than an hour in the queue, and no one ever replies. It’s beyond frustrating and completely disrespectful to paying customers.
Because Anglian Water holds a monopoly in this area, they seem to have no interest in improving their service. It honestly feels like they’ve forgotten that customers are people, not just account numbers.

We were informed a couple of months ago that we have to change to a water meter,since then nothing,no information whats so ever,apart from when I have called,surely they have a right to inform customers what is happening and when,I have been told that I proberbly wont be billed until May,no definate answers and based on my last years usage an amount,this not a very efficiant service,I shouldn't have to contact them to see whats happening,it should be a policy to let paying customers know.
