After a week of living with the most ghastly odour, I called the Drain Doctor and they sent out Manny! What a relief he gave me! Within minutes he had found the blockage and had it removed within a matter of seconds! I did feel terrible as the backsplash that covered poor manny made him look (and smell) like roadkill!! But he took it on the chin, literally, and we had a laugh! Great guy and great company! Highly recommend!

Had Ben Meadows out as I had a blocked sink in my kitchen.Other plumbers had been out but was not able to rectify.Ben was polite and very efficientWithin 45 minutes he had cleared the blockage and refitted the pipe work and he even cleaned up the mess left by the previous plumbers!!Top man.Brilliant job and would highly recommend

Perfect service from first call to completion, Paul worked out very quickly what and where the fault was, gave a fixed price for the job and then carried out the work, very clean and tidy, A big thanks to a hardworking engineer.

Was meant to be giving us a quote at 12pm, never turned up, no phone call, i called they said they didnt know where they were, ended up cancelling and managed to get someone else to come down in the hour to give us a quote. May i add this quote had been booked in for 4 days

Fantastic company fantastic staff! Especially Mr Paul Pearce, who kindly helped me out today with jump starting my van, I was stranded in clacton on sea without Paul’s help and he put his full effort in to help me out! Highly recommend company.

Called Anglia Drain Doctor on behalf of my father (who has Alzheimer's) and I wasn't present when the engineer Kevin came. 30-minute job to unblock bathroom sink (which I had already attempted and removed/dismantled sink and some detritus). Initially tried to charge £160. Come on. Settled on £130 in cash. Taking advantage is an understatement. Search your local gumtree for an honest tradesman than these crooks.

They unblocked the drain which is why I called them out however. Initially they tried to bill me for 2 hours work, when they were actually in my house for less than one hour.
My apartment block has CCTV which when studied to refute their claim showed the engineer was sat in his van doing nothing for much of the call out time.
They did reduce the final fee after I challenged, but the initial dishonesty is unacceptable.

I would give them lower than a 1 If I could. The gentleman attending to the dentist was very abrupt and rude and I mentioned that we usually are invoiced and we pay through that we do not deal in cash. He was very rude went to make a phone call said we could pay through invoice so do we want him or not and said I'm going to cancel this call out if then and left with slamming the door behind him as I was getting getting the confirmation to go ahead or not from another staff member. First of all he asked us to pay in cash which I thought was strange anyway but if this company employ rude members of staff like that we will not go through them again.

Needed a drain unblocking, Stefano from Drain Doctor arrived on the day of calling for help. Through no fault of his own miss-diagnosed which pipe out of 5 was blocked (our house had been altered by previous owners). Called next day to see if drain doctor could help and Stefano arrived, found the correct pipe, persevered and got the blockage cleared. He then gave us advice after viewing the video footage on preventing future blockages. All in all an easy to get on with professional person whom I would have no hesitation in recommending and a credit to the company.

Matt and Paul what can I say, but brilliant, after several misdiagnosis from various other people, boys arrived diagnosed and sorted the flooding bathroom, congratulations to Jake, also brilliant and to Angela who also pulled out all the stops to get me the help I needed, well done.

I'm giving 2 stars after using Drain doctor based in Maulden. This company did unblock our toilet for a very high £174 however, they told us that there was damage (cracking) to the pipe work and quoted about £700 to sort the 'problem' but we refused and called up the local water supplier. Ended up telling us there was absolutely no damage to the pipe work and even showed us on the camera. Be careful if using this company.

Did exactly what was asked, no surprises, delays or unexpected costs.
