If your expecting something in the alloyed delivery time FORGET IT !! Ordered 2 pair of jeans on August 1st for my son for school it’s August 10th n still waiting for fulfillment of my order !! Absolutely ridiculous !! Talked to customer service yesterday n he advised me my order was pending pick up to be shipped n I would receive a email with tracking info !! No email no tracking number

Buyer beware! I made 2 orders and paid $13 extra for each order for 2 day shipping for a total of 26 dollars. They sent both orders ground which is taking 5 days. Total tipoff I called customer support and they said sorry can't refund shipping and hung up on me. Thanks for ripping me off and now my daughter won't have her pants in time for school.

Ordered 10 days ago and it hasn’t even shipped yet

I made my very first order at Aeropostale around ten days ago. It was for clothing that my daughter desperately needed. It was an extremely frustrating experience. I first made the order online, but needed to make a change to it. The agent who responded to my call took 56 minutes to redo the order. And then put in the wrong billing address. She assured me she'd redo it - but then emailed the next day to say she had trouble with the credit card. I tried again the next day, and the agent assured me he'd put in a code for expedited shipping - but when I got the order summary, it wasn't there. He gave me the coupon code so I could do it myself - I didn't work. At that point, my FIFTH attempt, I just gave up and made the order online with standard shipping (which was supposed to be free over $75, but I was still charged for it).
Ten das later, I checked on the status and was horrified to see that the order was still "awaiting fulfillment." When I reached out as to an agent, they told me it would only ship in another day or two and arrive up to ten days later - three full weeks after I first placed the order.
It was an awful experience, and I recommend staying far away from their site.

Easy payment options with AfterPay! So far no issues with online orders. Haven’t had to return any items. The quality of clothing holds up well after several washes. I mostly purchase for my teenagers and occasionally for myself. Great lounge wear…True to size

If you need to return any products, is going to take two months to get your money back!!! They never send you emails, basically if you forget about your refund, they WONT refund you,
This was my first time ordering and for sure is going to be the last one!!! Such terrible company.
Plus the only way to contact customer service is by phone, the chat is a joke always unavailable. And customer service is rude. But what else can you expect.

Absolute garbage. My package took 19 days to get to a highly populated suburban area in CT. On top of that they didn’t have a third of the items I ordered. Such a waste and I’ll never be back.

My kids grandmother took them shopping for back to school when she was in town. We have the original receipt and want to return one item, but we can’t because we don’t have the credit card it was purchased with. They won’t make the return and won’t issue a merchandise credit.

The brick and mortar stores seem to have less and less selection each year. For every clothing style, they have 3-4 pieces on the racks, size XS or S. And the staff is so incompetent, they can't order a different size for you. After being a customer for years, our family of 6 is done with this place. Much easier to find clothing for everybody at the competitor next to them in most malls.

I have been receiving emails from them without being registered, I have contacted them to clarify if it is phishing or what it is, they have not clarified the situation.
The last email I received says:

I'm wondering how a company could have an email that is not monitored?

False advertising. I received only one pair of jeans even though I ordered BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. Customer service said I needed to order 2 pairs not one pair. I’m not sure why they call it buy ONE get one when they require you to BUY TWO! Nowhere does it say I had to order 2 in order to get one free.

I waited almost 2 weeks for my order to arrive. I was very disappointed to have received an incomplete order. This was supposed to be a gift for my son. The customer service chat is AWFUL — they ended chat immediately after I asked about this BOGO promotion.

Then I called the customer service phone number. I was able to speak to someone on the phone. She said they will ship me the second pair now. I have my doubts.

I definitely will never shop at Aeropostale again.

Never received item. The tracking number I received was invalid. I contacted customer service and they insisted the item was delivered. Tried inputting the tracking number into the UPS site - invalid. Surprised that such a legitimate store, which used to be popular, engages in such a shady practice.

Edit: I reached out to customer service again, which contacted UPS who told them the package was lost, and they refunded me for my item!

I love the deals that I can find in my local store, I will be returning

Aero has the worst customer service through chat and phone. They are annoying and unprofessional. Many times I have contacted them about a problem on my order and they have hung up on me! The times I’ve talked to them they do not follow a script and often say “ummm let me check” “ummm my computer is loading” BULL. I am in customer service, you are just not prepared.

This is a travesty. I placed an order for over night and the ups email states they have not received it. Albert stated he is a supervisor he stated “here’s the deal “ I said “here’s the what” and asked him no to speak to me in that manner. He became combative and began to speak over me and stated overnight means after one day processing then it delivers, which means two days not overnight. The 25.00 fee for overnight states next day. It is shameful! What a travesty.

If you need anything in a timely matter online this is not to store to shop !! Take foreva to process orders ... hire more people

I used to shop there all the time in middle and high school because it was the trendiest place to shop in those days (this was 5-10 years ago). I’m not sure how they are now, but I quit shopping there because the quality of the clothes was awful. The t shirts got holes so easily and I bought a pair of jeans that totally ripped down the seam of the outer leg.

I ordered a shirt on 2/19/21. Alright, so it's currently 2/28/21 I still haven't received my order, understandably, because the shipping ranges from around 5-8 business days (it's Sunday so tomorrow would be 5). However, I still would expect quicker shipping than that considering I had to pay $5 for it. Also, with UPS tracking, I haven't received an update in two business days, three days total now, and it's kind of frustrating. I'm not giving the company all that bad of a review because it's not ALL their fault, it's also UPS for not giving me any damn updates (they're lucky considering my package isn't even here yet). Good products, but there are better, more reliable stores to choose from. If the package doesn't get in my hands by the eight-day mark, then I'm bumping this review down to one star.

Online purchase. False advertising. Discount not applied, When chatting with an agent - he ended the chat without answering my question.
They are supposedly applying advertised discounts only if customers complain and after the card is charged and items shipped. Never heard about such practice. Beware.

This is the worst lying company I have ever dealt with. I ordered my son some jeans that were slim straight and my son told me he only wear skinny jeans. I contacted Aeropostale and gave the lady my order number and told her i wanted to exchange the jeans since I had just ordered them and they haven't been shipped yet, the lady looked up my account and saw that they were not shipped yet and asked me to go online and tell her the sku for the jeans i wanted instead and that she would make the change in the system for the warehouse. Fast forward 4 months. I am getting calls from aeropostale saying they need the slim straight jeans and if they don't get them they will be charging the card on file. I kept the email of the change in the order and they still charged me for some jeans that was never sent to me. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND I WILL NEVER SPEND MONEY HERE AGAIN.
