Shopping at ACE online they provide a delivery date at check out but as soon as payment was submitted they sent an email that the item is out of stock at the location.

The manager at the Phoenix Az 19 th Avenue Indian School location refused to take back my zappers and said he I was lucky that he even addressed my issue. He was so rude and said they don’t care about the items they sell and do not honor anything AS SEEN ON TV

Tried to purchase chair floor protectors 7/8" which I pulled off of the full rack. When I tried to check out the employee could not find the item listed in the computer. The manager was called when he checked I was told the item was not for this store and it belongs to an unaffiliated store in Orange Tx. He he could not sell me the two packages. I stated they had been stocked and the rack was full of these items. He stated he wouldn't sell them to me.

This is the worst run hardware store i have ever been in. They have very poor staffing and do not answer their phone half the time. Also whatever you do, do not order on line, the on line inventory is totally inaccurate. I have mistakenly ordered several times on line and when I go to the store to pick it up, the item I ordered and they supposedly have in stock is not is stock and then they can't cancel the order, you have to wait until it comes in and then after that you can come in to the store to cancel the order and finally get your money back!!!!!!!!!!!! how bad can an organization be relative to customer service??

I'd give a partial star if I could. Ace.com had proven to be a black hole of effort to not get what they advertise. I ordered a grill, a thermometer and a grill cover. Within 20 minutes I got an email that they cancelled the cover, they couldn't fulfill. When the local Ace never contacted me for delivery I called and they explained the order didn't arrive on the trick but they ordered it. Two days later I got an email that the grill was cancelled from my order (which now consisted of just a thermometer, useless without the grill). The next day the local Ace called to say they have the grill and I should re-do the online order to square payment worn their promotions. I'm now able to order the grill, for curbside pickup, from a dozen Ace Hardware stores between 7 miles and 25 miles from my house. I cannot order a grill from the local store, two miles away, that delivers.
Customer service is customer dis-service. The agents can't help. When you ask to speak to a supervisor they put you on hold, tell you no one is available but they've created an incident and I'll get a call back. Five times I've had an incident created and not a single phone call. The local Ace store is awesome. They're patient, understanding and wanting to keep a customer. Ace.com and the support therewith, stinks on ice!

Always greeted with a friendly smile and welcome to Ace by the cashier's and then again by the sale people.
Always asking if I need help in finding anything and making my projects easier. If they don't have an item in stock they go out of their way to find it and order it for me.
Very clean, organized and well stocked store.
Seems that every one is well educated with all areas of the store.
When checking out another smile from the cashier's asking if I found everything I was looking for and a thank you for shopping at Ace and come again.
The rewards program is a great program they offer, saves you money and great deals.

Just purchased six 6x5/8 wood screws…
Just purchased six 6x5/8 wood screws out of common stock. Two of the six broke at the neck while being hand screwed in predrilled holes. I used to count on ACE for quality. I guess for 11cents/ea what do we expect? These screws, manufactured in who knows where, have completely unacceptable quality. 1 out of 6 maybe .... 2 out of 6 that's BAD quality.

I recently had a over the phone experience with an ace hardware moffett rd location ,mobile,al representative by the name of Jacob, I never ever have experienced the kind of service provided to me. I required advise and assistance with a plumbing issue at my home, long story short the patience and courtesy to solve my concern was unsurpassed by anything I have ever experienced in any retail environment. The store at Alameda and Broadway is closing it's doors for food. That apparently gives the employees the right to chase a customer out of the store and cuss her out over the shopping cart she was using. I spent over $100 and was treated worse than a shoplifter.
$6k order - fiasco fixed!

Ordered Ego Z6 ($5,500) from Ace's website. Transaction got delayed in their system, somehow. Dealer had the product in stock, was ready to deliver, but corporate wouldn't "approve" the release of the order. Days went by and they still hadn't released it. They told me it would be ready on the 9/16. Well, as of the 15th, they still hadn't released the order. Dealer told me they were NOT going to make the 16th and that it would be delayed another 5 days - all because corporate hadn't released the transaction. Called their 800 number - got the call center - Very poor experience. CANCELLED the order due to the poor personal interaction with the Call Center. Made one final attempt by calling Ace corporate offices - Barbara there is my hero! She got ALL of the red tape cleared away with ONE phone call. I was able to go directly to the store/dealer and purchase from them - with the same online special discount. THANK YOU Barbara for picking up the phone and helping! Sometimes it just takes a REAL person, in the right spot, with the right attitude, to really help!
Ordering fertilizer
I’ve been a customer for 20 years in that time the last 12 to 15 years I have had great service and could order everything that I needed if you stocked it last week I ordered 20 bags of milarganite fertilizer the employees who ordered it where great as usual Adam and missie where told that corp did not allow them to order more than 7 bags a time. Last spring and many years before I ordered 20 bags in the spring and in the fall no problem the two employees are great I can count on them always that is 40 bags I buy from you people a year that over 600 $ not counting all the other times I go to ACE . If I have to order 7 bags from you people a time I will take my business some where else. As a paying customer I should be able to order as much as I need if I am able to pay for you think?

I frequent the Ace Hardware store in Gig Harbor Washington. I have always been helped by knowledgeable staff. If someone is not sure they would call someone on the radio and a experienced and knowledgeable employee would be there in seconds. Not everyone can know everything, and not every employee knows all the products in the store. So on occasions the employess that have experience and the knowledge would get together with me to meet my needs to match the demands of my project. I have never been fully let down other than them not having something in stock when I need it. At least they do their best to always accommodate my high demands. Yes I demand the utmost quality of the materials and products that I purchase. I am just a little picky I guess. Returns and exchanges have never been an issue for me either. I get what I pay for and expect of an item or I want a suitable replacement or refund and I have always been accomadated. I rate my experiences at the Gig Harbor Location as a 5-star Experience every time!!!

Ace offered a bonus if i would fill out a customer survey form and so i filled out the form. I was offered several choices of rewards and I selected a smartwatch. I filled in the proper info for "shipping and handling fees" (my first mistake), and the site refused payment twice.
