Super Comfortable boots
The Company… Great easy to navigate website, goods received promptly and well packaged. Will definitely use them again!
The boots… Felt a bit stiff out the box but within 10 mins of wear these boots had become supple and were on me to the end of the day. Far more supportive than the Le Chameau boots they replaced, plus all the advantages of a safety toe for wearing in a farm setting. Brilliant boots.

Shambles. Do not use this company
Ordered and paid for trousers and hi vis polos, all in stock on the website.
3 days later they tell me trousers are out of stock and do I want a refund for them and still take the polos or cancel whole order?
I reply the same day saying yes I still want the polos but refund the trousers. Silence for days. Email again asking what’s going on and finally get a reply stating the refund has been processed and the polos will be dispatched first thing Monday morning. This is now Thursday and I’ve just had an email saying they are preparing to dispatch them. 12 days from date of order and nothing received but a promise they are dispatching them.
Absolutely useless. Will never order from them again.

We've been over this internally to work through what has happened here as this is far from what we expect. Your review here is fair and I can only apologise as this experience fell well short of our normal standards.
Your order encountered not just one but two unusual occurrences. The first was caused by a member of staff needing to take short notice leave for family reasons. The second was a system glitch caused by a change that had been rolled out. A change that ironically is designed to improve customer experience, but ended up doing the opposite as it delayed the order for a couple of days.
I know we've sent a small token gesture as an apology. We also just wanted to reiterate that we're sorry that you were inconvenienced here.
Excellent customer service
Although the delivery was delayed I received a call to explain and given an apology, the fact that I received a personal call is excellent customer service

Delayed Postage Due to no stock in Uk
I have ordered off this website now twice and both times said in stock but then a day later received an email to say that the item has to come from an eu store and will be a week before update. 1st time was a pair of boots understandably may not be in stock but this time round was a pair of work trousers surely they should be on the shelf in the uk. I will definitely not be ordering off this website again due to them keeping nothing in stock in the UK

Just wanted to update here as I know the team have been working really hard to assist you.
We appreciate you had a pressing need for your order and worked hard to try to get hold of the item you required before leaving the country for work overseas.
Unfortunately the specific item in the size you needed was not to be found anywhere in the UK - we spoke to Helly themselves and also to more local stockists to see if we could find any way of meeting your required timescales. I'm pleased that we found a suitable resolution and sent the alternative pair of Helly trousers in your size. We also sent them express delivery to Northern Ireland (at our expense) to try to make sure we did everything we could to assist. I've spoken to the team and am very confident we made great efforts to try to sort things here for you. We trust you feel the same way and would obviously welcome any revision/correction to your review if you choose to reflect this.
One thing I think it is important to be clear on for anyone reading this just for accuracy. We DO hold a great deal of stock in the UK at quite some expense to us as a business. We are one of the UK's largest Helly stockists. With over 200k items ranged from many brands - c.10k from Helly alone) there are occasions where we need a little more time to transfer between warehouses. We notify people when this is the case, make this clear in our shipping information and always ask customers to contact us if there is an urgent need for an item.
Most importantly on this one though, we hope you like the new trousers - we personally think you have a really good new purchase there.

Carhartt Jacket
I ordered a Carhartt Jacket from Workweargurus and it took about 8 working days to arrive , however when I ordered they said it would be 3-5 days .
I suspect they do not hold this item in stock and had to source it from an EU warehouse.
(So Beware !).
I must admit Chris and Andrei kept me up to date with this , and I was pleased with the purchase when it arrived, it was good quality and a great price!
It wouldn’t put me off ordering from this company again. I understand you cannot keep thousands of lines permanently in stock, but surely there’s a way of telling whether there’s an Item in or out of stock when ordering.

With regards to the delivery, we are actually one of the major UK stockists of Carhartt gear. However, as you rightly point out, with so many products in our store we do only hold limited quantities of sizes and colours and will indeed ship in extra stock when more stock is required.
Unfortunately Carhartt themselves don't actually hold any stock in the UK at all, so we have to ship it from Europe in such cases. What that does also mean though is that while our deliveries are normally much faster than there's are, we know we will also never be slower than them! We will always tell customers when this is going to be necessary and I'm glad you were kept fully up to date.
We are actively working on a solution that would give real-time timescales for any and thank you for your feedback on that as a feature too.
