I would give this company 0 stars if that was possible. I had brought a car and decided to get insurance from Stella because it was a reasonable quote. The black box was a BIG JOKE due to the length of time it took them to send it, and they kept on asking if I had fitted it in, even though I hadn't received it. I was bombarded with emails which kept on going into my junk and before I knew it they had cancelled my insurance. I tried to get them to accept my payment for the extra that I had to pay, but instead they just cancelled my policy and only gave me HALF the MONEY back after ONE MONTH of being with them.
I had informed them that my husband had just passed away, which they had made a note of. However, they still proceeded to harass me and didn't take into account my situation (grieving widow).
They are an absolute nightmare of a company. please don't touch them with a BARGE POLE.

Cancelled my policy without properly…
Cancelled my policy without properly informing me and also deducted about £300 on a policy of about £692/year and only took this out less than a month ago. The worse company in communicating and this is just Pure scam.. Be weary of this company, the customer service is also zero. This company does not deserve one in rating.

Penalises the main driver for named driver driving
Their telematics insurance penalise the main driver for named driver driving or if anyone else borrows the car and drives more aggressively the main driver risks getting the insurance cancelled. Ok if there's only one driver I guess but if it's a family car this I'm not good. As the main driver I do not consider I should be held responsible for my spouse driving. This is unfair and antiquated. There are telematics insurances today who only assess the main driver. Upgraded to 3 stars as they have been good at keeping in touch during my cancellation, refunding me without an issue.
