Lovely shop with lots of iconic Whitby jet jewellery. On a recent holiday I bought some beautiful jet earrings only to lose one only a week later! I was SO upset. I couldn't find the same ones in the online shop or anywhere else either which I was so sad about. So, I phoned the shop and they were absolutely amazing! I sent a photo and they very quickly sourced and posted a replacement for me. So very kind and helpful - amazing customer service! Can't recommend Simpsons highly enough. There are lots of places selling Whitby jet but I will be going to Simpsons for any future pieces, gifts etc. This kind of customer service is quite rare these days and great when you receive it. Highly recommend.

I spotted this brooch on a recent trip to Whitby but didn’t buy it and regretted
it. I went on line and found it so ordered it and it came the next day. It was in a lovely box and I’m delighted with it. It’s beautifully made and a little bit different. I would thoroughly recommend this Jewellers.

I previously bought an item from Simpson’s in Whitby when we went to visit the town on holiday.
I unfortunately lost it so I wanted a replacement as item was special to me.
Item was lost by Royal Mail but Simpson’s was prompt with their response and were quick to replace it free of charge.

The item I bought was a looped cross pendant and was very delicate and beautiful
I also bought stud earrings.

Will wear them with great affection.

I bought a beautiful Jet & green amber bracelet quite a few years ago and haven’t worn it much as it was a little too big and was in danger of slipping off my wrist.
This year I finally remembered to take it on holiday to Whitby with us and popped into Simpson’s shop on Church Street to see if it could be adjusted. I had no receipt or proof of purchase but I received an email telling me the work had been done and it was on its way back to my home address - all with no charge.
The bracelet arrived yesterday and has not been off my wrist since then.
I can’t thank Mr Simpson enough for his amazing workmanship and fantastic customer service.
If I could have given 10 stars, I would have.
