This is the worst bank I've seen in my life

Worse than this bank, I have not met employees in my life to absolutely do not care about the client on all my questions, stupid unsubscriptions do not conduct checks on the fact of forgery of the loan agreement on my behalf, I think they are in collusion with scammers, car dealers..

Stay FAR, FAR away

Just like soooo many others, I highly, highly suggest staying away from this company. Do everything you can to NOT use them. They are so unprofessional and they lie about “fees”. They know there is no repercussions and if you don’t pay the “fake” fees, they will repo your car. I wish I had read the reviews before I went with this company. They offered a slightly better interest rate than the other companies I could have went with, but the other companies don’t have nearly as many bad reviews. I didn’t know Westlake made their money in other ways then just interest fees. I probably would have came out cheaper going with another finance company. Their agents are also rude, trained to lie, and just pains to deal with.

Worst place ever I bought a dodge…

Worst place ever I bought a dodge durango back in August 2023 not even a day later had issues fighting the dealer then westlake wouldn't do anything to help said there hands are tied I said if I take the car back he has to give you the money back they said no matter what I was legally responsible for the loan no matter what even if I gave the car back put me in a bind with a 14k vechicle that wouldn't run paid the car off in Oct because of the problems here we are july2nd still no lein release or title been calling for months nothing but it's been mailed and I'm stuck with a pos in my drive way that I can't do nothing with westlake are just as fishy as they shifty dealers

I do not recommend to any dealers !! They are so bad to deal with. They take forever to release funds!! No reasonable excuse whatsoever to why they have funds on hold, they make up lies as they go. Even floorplan is terrible, you call and one person says something completely different from the next person you talk to. Funding side sucks the most, a guy couldn’t help because he claimed I had to reach out to our rep. Our rep says to contact funding team. Lmfao. That’s Westlake for you.
Customers always have bad things to say about them too. The reviews don’t lie people.

This company made me sign a paper at my lowest moments watching my mom fight cancer..I had my car 4 yrs or more down to 1300 dollars they repo my vehicle had me sign a paper to keep my car from getting repo and refinance my vehicle adding another 5k on my acc... this company is the worse and its still even harder to pay now..I would have been finished off this vehicle.. it's on a 2016 kia forte.. I paid about 25k or more now and it's repossessed AGAIN

I hate that I even had to get finance…

I hate that I even had to get finance through Westlake because it doesn’t make any sense I am just eight days late. I mean they’re blowing up my phone and texting me like I am six months behind when I have already spoken to someone about my payment. I see that they don’t communicate at all I can’t wait to get through paying them or trading this car in.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm trying to pay off a car. The company I bought from closed and Westlake took over. Since then I have had nothing but problems. No one knows what's going on. No one can tell me how much I owe for my title. They are adding on random fees. I swear they are just buying time so they can take the car back and I'm about to just give them the car at this point. So ridiculous! I just keep getting the run around and different answers.

i am not happy with this company i tried to make an auto payment and was told i would not take the autopay ? not right someone got the numbers wrong on the acct and they want to charge you to make a payment on the phone and also i could not even buy my own license plates? we have handicap plates will i get them? ihad to send and fax paperwork at a cost of 60.00 and also i did a prequalification through car quest wich was a waste of time with this company. i feel i was taken advantage of this loan and i will try and go through my bank and be done with this nightmare. i just tried to make a payment on line again and the lady i was doing business with i could not understand and she did not know her job.

Do NOT do business with this company

I will never do business with this company again. I got an auto loan through them, paid it on time every month for over two years before refinancing the vehicle with my local bank. First of all, they charged me a fee every month just to be able to pay my bill and the only way to avoid the fee was to give them my sensitive banking information. A fee to pay a bill is theft in my opinion. you should never have to pay someone just to be able to pay someone. Then, once I did refinance, they owed me a refund and instead of giving me my refund they sent it to some other company who gave me a digital Mastercard. I tried to get a hold of that company to get my refund and crickets. I called Westlake back to complain and got told there was nothing they could do about it. Couldn't even speak to a supervisor was told I could try to call back later but that's just how we do it. A horrible company to do business with, do yourself a favor and stay far away from the headache I have had to deal with while doing business with them.

Westlake Financial Services is a criminal organization that is violating consumer protection rights and trust in lending acts on a daily basis.

Jamás hagas trato con ellos

Pésima atención, intereses cobrados primero al final solo 25 % del valor de la cuota se destina al capital lo demás son intereses , manipulan todo como quieren. El valor de entrada nunca lo ponen en el valor del préstamo simplemente lo desaparecen nunca se incluye en el total del préstamo. Los agentes de servicio al cliente son negligentes groseros y nada profesionales.

Saturday a Repo man showed up to take my Car.
Florida REQUIRES notice before the Repo agent comes, which did NOT happen.
For Clarity see Florida Statues 537.012(2) “Prior to engaging a Repo Agent, the Lender shall afford the Opportunity…..”
Well Sir, that didn’t happen.
Do not entrust your Business to this Lender.

The most horrible company I have ever…

The most horrible company I have ever dealt with as a dealer. Strung us along for over a month just to tell us that our customer wasnt approved. This is after telling us he was. Sat on the phone with one of their reps during the whole application and then they said we filled it out wrong. Richard Bisadda and Eli Malouhi are both worthless. They will not call back or let a person know what is going on. If you are a dealership and care at all about your customers I would highly suggest staying away from these bottom feeders.

I don't have a loan or owe money, but they still repoed my car

I paid off my car through American Car Center in 2022. That company closed before they sent me the title. This week, this company that I've never heard of--Westlake-- repossessed my car. We do not owe money on my car. We made the final payment in September of 2022 and had a ZERO BALANCE. No one answers phone calls at Westlake and when they do, they are angry, rude, nearly unintelligible, and will hang up if you don't obediently pay whatever arbitrary "service fee" they demand. Service fee for WHAT? Somebody screwed up at the original finance company and rather than help me fix it, whoever is handling accounts at Westlake is happy to continue running every scam this is.

crooks, liars, and the worst.

A previous comment said that they are crooks with terrible customer service and BOY ARE THEY RIGHT. They don't bother helping you with your inquiries and never provide the correct information.

I also asked to make an early payment to the principal on call, the way the dealer taught me, and they said the best way to better my credit is with the automatic monthly payments. Like, do you really think you can lie to my face and expect an honest reputation? Obviously it's better to just pay every 2 weeks. Also, their workers slur their name when you call because they already know they're going to be giving some misinformation.

Unreputable Lender

My daughter and I are on a loan together. I am the borrower, she is the co-borrower. The first payment on the loan was due 2/3. We scheduled a payment on 2/2 through their website. We received the confirmation email thanking us for our payment. Later that evening, the pending payment shown through our financial institution was no longer pending. It disappeared. We received an email from Westlake on 2/3 indicating our payment was still due. We logged into our online account with them, clicked on "payments" and found no pending payment although they sent us a confirmation email thanking us for the payment the day before. We got nervous, thinking our first payment didn't process properly and scheduled the payment again. Again, we received a confirmation email thanking us for our payment. I tried calling to get it straightened out but their office was closed. On Monday our bank account was in the negative because BOTH payments were processed AND we got hit with a $34 overdraft fee. I instantly called Westlake to file a complaint regarding inefficient website and to request a refund of the overpayment and the $34 overdraft fee. I was told it would take 3-5 business days for the refund, that it would only be applied to a bank account if the bank account was set up on autopay, and that I would have to submit evidence of the overdraft via email. We set up the autopay bank account so we could get our refund. I was provided the email address from supervisor Armando Yera and was told it would take at least three business days for them to process the email request. I emailed all information on 2/6, and on 2/14 still hadn't received a response to my request. I called Westlake on 2/14 and spoke to supervisor Miguel Vicente who told me that they did not respond to my request because they are not financially responsible for customers who schedule duplicate payments and that only one payment is due at at a time, as if I were brand new at paying bills. I explained to him the timeline of events, that were also included in the email I sent had they actually taken the time to read it, and was still told they were not going to refund the overdraft. I told him their CSR indicated to me the reason their website didn't show a pending payment on 2/3 was because "it was a weekend". That is completely absurd and unacceptable. Being a financial institution, and having a web portal means 24/7 real time updates on payments, balances, etc. I explained this to him as well, to which he responded with his scripted speech of "we're not financially responsible". We are a brand new customer with a brand new loan and this is how they treat us? I wish the dealership had never pointed us in their direction. We were told by the dealership that if the first loan payment was late that they would repossess the vehicle. We paid on time, their website showed no pending payment, so we scheduled the payment again out of fear that the payment did not process properly. And this is how they respond? Terrible customer service. Better Business Bureau reports they're not reputable either. I personally work with utility companies throughout the US every day, and all of their web portals are in real time as are all other providers who process payments on a daily basis. I've never had a poorer experience with a loan provider in my 35 years of owning and financing vehicles. Because of their inefficient and poorly built website we were under the impression that our first payment was going to be late, but instead was withdrawn twice leaving us with less than zero funds for our other financial obligations. We did receive the refund of the overpayment, but they refuse to take responsibility for their website screw up. Borrower beware! Take a loan elsewhere or you'll be ripped off by this lender.

These people are terrible. They operate in bad faith. They back out of their own payment arrangements. You're gonna want to be careful dealing with them. They're criminals

Worst financial company ever

Worst financial company ever, they are crooks, stay away from this terrible company. They have terrible customer service. I had a car loan, never received a statement or a call from them, whe I received my statement I made a payment right away only to find out that my payment was late 14 days and the loan was canceled, thieves.

Horrible

My issue is this. I recently had a repossession and called to get more information regarding it. I was told the amount I needed to produce to return my car. I paid that amount on 9.09.2023. I had to drive to SC to get the car. The next day I called Westlake to see what was next and if I needed to do anything else. I was told that I needed to contact West Direct since I was almost done paying for the car. My car was repossessed for a month. So, I called west direct and spoke with a respectful gentleman that explained that I had 5 more payments left and by the 5th payment to call in and they will put me a on plan to purchase the car. I only had the car two weeks and last Tuesday and I go outside, and my car was gone. I called Westlake and a rep told me they took the car because they didnt receive a “letter stating the finance balance wasn’t sent over and once that’s sent over, I can go pick up the car. I called west direct for 3 days straight and got transferred over 8 times. The person who accepted my phone call said that I needed that letter first. So, I call Westlake back explaining that. I’m on hold for a long time. The guy comes back to the phone this morning and tells me that his supervisor is sending the letter over to the repo place for me to get the car. I called the repo place, and they havent received anything. Nobody from Westlake or West Direct or my contract says that I need a lump sum of money to get my car back. I was told I had to make my 5 payments and then they would put me on a plan to begin purchasing the car. I have spoken with so many people that have given me incorrect information or finding out stuff nobody ever told me. I am devastated that no one wants to fix the problem. I never knew anything about them taking the car after the maturity date. I found that out the other day as well. I don’t know what to do. All I have done was follow either what was emailed to me or what was told to me by representatives. I now don’t have transportation and I’m trying to get this handled. I just called back today, and the lady rep tells me I need to pay 2500 to get the car back or pay 450 for repo fees and I can get the car back, but it can still be repossessed. Ive never heard of anything like this in my life. Everyone I speak wants to transfer me or hang up the call. I’m finding out so much information that I can’t seem to find in my contract. Ever since the bankrupt all of this has been horrible. All Im needed is a financial balance lease to keep the car. I feel nobody wants to help. They want to keep the car after receiving thousands of dollars from me and left with misinformation and no car. This is ridiculous and has my blood pressure through the roof. I would not recommend going through them for a car. It has been hell.
