The staff at Wed2be Bristol are phenomenal! All so kind and patient. I went for a visit today with no intention of buying my dress, as a rather clueless bride to be whose wedding isn't until April 2027 and my first ever experience of trying on a wedding dress. The thought of trying on a wedding dress for me is a rather daunting task as I am a bride who is primarily in a wheelchair so it is important it was practical as well as beautiful. As soon as I entered Wed2b Bristol the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and Marium who assisted me in finding 'the one' was fantastic. She was so lovely, kind and very patient while I tried on a handful of different dresses, and listened intently to feedback - nothing was too much trouble. As a bride to be in a wheelchair, it was a breath of fresh air to be in a store that was fully accessible and the experience was so relaxed and with the bonus a very reasonable cost too. Thank you team Wed2be Bristol and especially Marium, you really have made me feel so special

I went in after feeling so defeated because I had purchased my dress in Cardiff and then lost it due to the shop going bust and was worried I would never find my dress and get that feeling back. Maria greeted me and listened to all my concerns, she then paired me with Ayesha who took such amazing care of me and listened to everything I liked and disliked and even after I was unsure about something in blush I tried it on anyway on her suggestion and was AMAZED at how I felt and looked! I tried on a few after but still came right back to that one! By the end of my appointment all the girls were checking in on me and I just could not thank them enough for their care and kindness helping me find my dress!

We visited Wed2be in Bristol yesterday, which was my first appointment wedding dress shopping. We were greeted with a warm welcome and all staff made me feel at ease with it being my first appointment. It was quiet so I only had to wait 15 minutes. Kim was amazing, patient and really listened to what I liked and didn’t like. Thanks to the help of Kim I found my dress ☺️ would highly recommended!

Overall better than I expected. You actually stock a great variety of dresses which are all beautiful and practical. Even though you're at the cheaper end of the scale all the dresses felt high quality and looked stunning.
That being said, there are several things I'm unhappy with. First of all, the pressure to pick up the dress on the spot. It's ridiculous to expect someone to commit to spending 100s on the spot or having to pay £100 non-refundable deposit.
Second, my first assistant was quite passive which made the whole experience a bit awkward. She brought me dresses I asked for, but he heart was just not in it. However my second assistant was great. She offered recommendations, options and genuinely seemed happy to be there. And the manager (I think, she was the one welcoming and organising everyone) was a ray of sunshine.
3rd and last thing, because you offer no appointments the wait becomes quite long on weekends. I don't understand why we can't just book ahead of time to prevent us from wasting time and the staff from stressing. On Sunday I genuinely felt sorry for the manager who was rushing around trying to accommodate everyone and speed things along. Could've been avoided easily. Maybe not even booking ahead of time, but some sort of 'take a number' situation would've been preferred. Again, not just for guests, but for the staff as well

I went to WED2B to look at purchasing my wedding dress and as much as the experience in the Bristol store was great the pressure to purchase the dress then and there was definitely felt. I put down a small
Deposit of £100 to secure the dress but wasn’t told it would be be usable towards accessories and was told I needed to buy the dress within a 2 month period. However I wasn’t able to achieve this date and lost my deposit which felt disappointing as I would have preferred to have used it towards an accessories in the store rather than lose it completely. I wouldn’t recommend Wed2B to any future bride unless it’s the last resort and you want to get a dress very last minute.

We intially had a lovely weekend buying dresses on the Saturday and Sunday for my bridesmaids. We ordered the dresses on both days and paid extra for the express service.
We then went and bought the shoes and accessories, gifts etc to match the dresses.
However, when it came to collecting them everything went wrong. I called them and was told there was a slight delay and they would be in next week. I called the following week as they didn't call me!! and after being on hold for ages they said they'd call me back.
A few hours later they call me and say we are so sorry, there has been an error and we haven't ordered your dresses!!
There isn't time to get them made now, so we are cancelling your order, we will of course give you a full refund on this occasion!!! I was so upset, and angry and devastated! I couldn't believe it. I was speechless!! I said id call back as i literally was in shock.
I called back and was told nothing could be done. I asked what was I supposed to do. I had everything bought matching those specific dresses!! They could not help, apart from the suggestion of different styles, in different colours and different sizes!! Ridiculous.
When i asked about compensation, I was told they'd get back to me. They emailed me back to say no compensation and I could submit a complaint if I wanted. I did which took a while having to upload all the details they wanted. It took them no time at all to come back to me about my formal complaint and said simply, sorry but no compensation. I was gobsmacked. They said no point contacting them again as this decision was final.
Ive had to buy multiple different dresses, pay for express postage, rush jobs, new underwear, all express shipping required in order to get everything sorted (and with 30 days to go we are still not sorted). We also have had to buy more new shoes and accessories for the bridesmaids as we couldn't find the same colour anywhere else.
All in all I think that this is absolutely disgraceful and appalling behaviour. It took over 2 weeks to get the refund from them. We have spent so much additional time looking for something else appropriate and the extra costs at an already expensive time is really not appreciated. They had so much time to pick up on their error of not ordering the dresses. The fact that the dresses ordered on the Saturday and Sunday (we were there twice) were both not ordered just makes things even worse from them as a company as this was not just a one off thing!!!
Im hoping to go to the retail ombudsman type thing as this is awful service that has caused so much additional stress and upset, but I just dont have the time, energy or headspace currently!! What should have been a lovely time has turned in to a huge stressful experience all thanks to wed2be and their appalling customer service and care and have ruined part of our enjoyment in planning and getting organised for our wedding.

Abbie at the Bristol store was very welcoming. I was nervous and didn't expect to leave with my dress, but I did! She made me feel really comfortable and made some great suggestions, based on our consultation and how I was feeling in each dress. It became a fun experience and I'm now a Jade wearing the Jade. Lovely quality dress and lovely service, highly recommend.
