Washtower® is a family-run company established in the Netherlands in 2017. What began as an idea to design a cupboard that would mean no more bending while doing the laundry, developed into an innovative modular cupboard system for the complete furnishing of a laundry room, bathroom or utility room. This was clearly a gap in the market because only five years after launching our business, our team of four has grown to 39 colleagues and we now sell our cupboards in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, England, France and Scandinavia. We hope to soon enter the American markets as well. We want our customers to consider it a joy to do the laundry. That is why we prioritise service and quality. We always make sure that our customers are 100% satisfied. To guarantee safety, we have had our cupboards tested extensively by the German TÜV Rheinland. Washtower® sells the first TÜV-certified washing machine cupboard in Europe, which makes us really proud!

The washtower and cupboard look great
The washtower and cupboard look great and are a very clever design that support the machine with minimal vibration. The instructions are very good. There are installed in a room 2m x 1.5m so the washtower itself needed to be assembled in the space as it is heavy to be so sturdy when complete. It did take a while to find a piece of worktop deep enough to complete the cupboard so maybe you could offer to supply something. My partner is delighted that loading and unloading the washing muchine requires no bending.

Great product, strong although slightly pricey
Takes a while to put together but its very sturdy, strong and looks great once up. We have the white which isnt stark white its a lovely colour, and we changed the handles out to suit the interior design. Very happy with this purchase!

Very pleased with our purchase of a Washtower Slimline 3.0
We bought a Washtower Slimline 3.0 WSTT815 to create a washing machine/tumble dryer stack.This is a really good quality product and although flat pack, straightforward to put together. No bits missing! Delivery took a little while and could not be fixed at time of order, but was organised about a week in advance. The machine installers were impressed, comparing it favourably to other stacking options on the market.

Faulty product unfortunately. Wouldn't buy again and wouldn't recommend.
What i thought was a great product hasn't turned out to be good at all and although within the warranty Washtower are basically passing the buck. A couple of the panels are delaminating which looks very shoddy and they say its caused by a leak - i haven't even had a leak from my washing machine and there's nothing else round the units to leak either. Annoyingly enough my husband questioned whether it was good enough quality when it was delivered and he made it up but I was so pleased with the practical design, I ignored the doubts. Never again!! I am now wondering whether Washtower are just trying to spin me along until the warranty runs out - at the moment they are are telling me to claim off my own insurance to pay for replacement panels......!

Wash towers look great in my utility room
I ordered two wash towers and they look great! Order came sooner than expected and I got a handyman to build and install them, he said they were well made and straightforward to build. Good customer service too when I needed to add an extra item I called them and it was added to my order

Quality just not there.
I feel for the money the product quality is pretty poor compared to other units out which I have seen in the flesh.
The edges of the unit you can see white/ wood colour when it’s ment to be black. Edges I don’t think will last to long, one other issue is that they don’t supply filler panels to match units.
Also event though stored flat, the cupboard unit is bowed.

Regarding the delivery costs unfortunately there is nothing we can do at the moment. As you know our company is based in the Netherlands and shipping of a pallet to the UK and all import duties actually cost much more than 99GBP we charge to the client. Twin unit- a statement piece for the utility room
Bought the twin model to put the washing machine next to the tumble drier. Kitchen fitter was really impressed by the build quality and ease of build. Asked where it was from as never seen before.
Delivery was as per instructions of 3 weeks, so plan for that.
Is a great addition to our utility room and makes the laundry a much easier task.
Well done washtower in solving a nice to have problem.

However we had to have a plinth made to raise it off the floor.

Great unit, delivery could be improved
The wash tower is great, thought through, solid and good value. I haven’t seen anything similar. Assembly is complex but as long as you follow instructions it is fine.
Only reason this is not 5 star is that the delivery company just left it outside, didn’t knock / ring or notify so I didn’t know it was here. Given delivery is expensive that part was poor.

Great product but assembly instructions unclear at times
A great product that is super sturdy and great for adding additional storage. We've been using it for a little while now and no issues. Came super well wrapped to prevent any damage from overseas delivery. The only negative was that the instructions at times were not super clear or ordered in a non-logical way and led to some head scratching on how to proceed or backtracking a step, but we got there in the end. It was also interesting trying to put the washer in place at a height, but that was an us issue, not a product issue.

We followed assembly instructions as…
We followed assembly instructions as precisely as we could, and still found the construction to be too flimsy to hold our washer and dryer with any degree of confidence. We even asked our carpenter if he could try reassembling it, and he explained it wasn’t worth the time as it was a fundamentally unstable design.
