A & A Walters has been our family Funeral Directors for as long as I can remember, they did the funerals for my Nan, Dad and a couple of Auntie’s. So there was no other place I would go for my Mom’s funeral (Jean Gibson). From the moment we stepped through the doors Karen Newey made us feel very comfortable at such a traumatic and heartbreaking time, she is such a kind, caring compassionate lady, even talking to me & consoling me after I picked my Mom’s ashes up. Other people I would like to mention are Anthony (Mortician) who was very kind & caring when I visited my Mom in the Chapel, along with Debbie Bates (Celebrant) who performed the beautiful service and everyone that attended said we did Mom proud. Also the driver and team on the Day. I couldn’t have asked for anything else but an outstanding service from them at such a difficult time. THANK YOU!!! From the bottom of my heart

when our cousin Gwen died in November we engaged A and A Walters with whom she had a funeral plan. we met with Karen and we were given first class attention and advice. our family has used Walters over the years and have found that their service is always very professional but dealt with in a friendly way. special thanks to Karen who was a great help.

Hi am writing this review because we had fantastic help as soon as we walked through the door to arrange our mom/mother-in-law’s funeral with A&Awalters.. Karen who helped us get through everything what we needed to give our Lily Turner the best send off she could have , we couldn’t have asked for a better service. Very friendly and caring . A&A Walters were absolutely superb throughout, when arranging my beautiful mom, Valerie Abbotts, funeral. When you’re going through the most traumatic and heartbreaking time of your life, you need a calm and reassuring hand to guide you through and that is exactly what they provided. Karen Newey was our Funeral Arranger and she was so incredibly caring and understanding. Every phone call, every meeting, Karen just put us at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. A truly professional service was provided from start to finish. A&A Walters did my beautiful mom proud and for that we will be eternally grateful.

I used Walters for my husband Gary cashmore funeral.They were wonderful from start to finish .Stacy went through everything step by step and sorted everything out for us so we didn’t worry about anything,The staff on the day were immaculately turned out and seemed to just appear when needed.As a family we have used Walters several times so I didn’t hesitate to use them again .They provide an impeccable service just when you need it the most so that’s the one thing you do not have to worry about . What lovely people especially Stacy. She took me through the whole process in a kind thoughtful manner. Nothing was a problem, made a difficult time so much easier and the service organised for Steve was excellent. Would highly recommend

My father ronald messer funeral arrangements were all done by Karen newey she was absolutely fantastic at her job & made us all feel very comfortable on such a sad time for the family I would recommend her services and all at a a Walters funeral directors my dad had a great send off and mostly because they were so professional at what they do so if you need anything go here because I wouldn’t use anyone else

We were greeted by Steph our funeral adviser when visiting their Tipton offices to finalise the details for the funeral of my mom Violet Lilian. Steph was very caring and compassionate and made a traumatic time a little easier to bear. She was very professional and nothing was too much trouble for her. On visiting the chapel of rest she came in with me to make sure I was going to be ok then left me with mom to pay my last respects in private. On the day of the funeral I was looked after by Dave who was very kind and professional.
I would highly recommend A & A Walters to anyone they are a caring and compassionate and their professionalism is second to none.

When we had to arrange the funeral of our brother Terence, we knew to go to A & A Walters as they had been so kind and helpful when we had used their services previously.
Again, the service we received was second to none and the care and compassion Steph gave to us when arranging everything was very much appreciated at such a difficult time.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Service received was excellent.
Not the cheapest but a local firm who cared. When originally sourcing a provider they were the one that built a rapport initially.
Andy (Sedgley team) was calm and empathetic over the phone, and when we met both myself and my dad felt an instant rapport. He wasn’t pushy, respecting our wishes and those mum expressed previously .
He talked us through the whole ‘death/dying’ process, the paperwork , arrangements, other options etc. and took the lead in making arrangements with the church.
The Chapel of rest team were superb, friendly, respectful and very accommodating. It’s the little things that made all the difference. Knocking the door and asking was it ok to come in - silly I know, but just as you would be if the person were alive.
On the day itself the driver and cars’ team were just a credit to the company , big call out to Dave and his team . They looked after the limo party really well and actually provided a bit of subtle humour/warmth to help manage the emotions whilst within the vehicles. He also made snap judgement calls that helped overcome some obstacles. No matter how much of a planner you are at the time in question your focus is elsewhere and he took the stress away.
The flowers were beautiful too.
An excellent company couldn’t find fault with anything .

My parents requested a home visit to discuss their funeral plans. Steven Tredwell was the representative they met with from AAWalters funeral directors.
He showed great empathy and understanding of their needs ensuring they were comfortable with everything discussed. He covered every aspect of the funeral plan and process from the time of death to the cremation and beyond. Steve explained in full the costs for their consideration with no pressure on a decision today at all. The whole meeting was informative and considerate of their needs and needless to say they were so impressed with Steven they have agreed the go ahead for the funeral plans and feel very satisfied with the service.

From the moment they collected my dear mom Patricia South from her home to the dropping off at the wake they were so supportive and respectful and made the whole process, as difficult as it was, as Smooth as possible. Steven treadwell was amazing and we will be forever grateful for his compation and respect at this very sad time.

The company were amazing, they had to keep my mom over 6 weeks due to family circumstances, but they looked after her very well. I found Steph very approachable and also would like to mention Anthony who was also very professional as and considerate.

We used A&A Walters for my mom's funeral this week - and for my dad's 8 years ago as well. They are a lovely family based firm and Steven dealt with us personally, and couldn't be more helpful. Everything was dealt with efficiently, patiently and sensitively from day one. We would definitely recommend A&A Walters.

Fantastic service from first point of contact throughout, Steph is an incredibly kind, compassionate person who did everything she possibly could to support us and meet our requirements.

A A Walters took great care of my dad Bill Darby after he passed away in hospital in August . Steph was so caring and arranged everything with dignity for my dad ensuring we got him from the hospital morgue to their site as soon as possible and then arranged everything for us , from transport , order of service, minister , coffin etc for his funeral on September 18th . Nothing was too much trouble and everything was explained clearly . No matter what niggling worries I had Steph always reassured me that everything would be fine - which it was . They are the calm , organised presence you need when you are so sad & so stressed and don't know what to do next. It's the sort of service you hope you won't need , but when you do I would highly recommend A A Walters .

My Late mother Marg Edwards was in a care home she passed early hours of the morning, The care home rang AA Walters were they carried my late moms wishes.
When i went to funeral directors with my mom's funeral plan in hand I was met by a nice man by the name of Steven Sterdwell, he was fantastic nothing was to much trouble so very helpful, Understanding, And so compassionate ...I would highly recommend AA Walters ...

A&A Walters was fantastic,Our Dad passed early hours of a Sunday morning we phoned A&A Walters and within the hour they was there to collect our Dad very helpful and compassionate.A&A Walters was very professional, we went to the Tipton office and nothing was to much trouble we wasn’t rushed and all was discussed with no pressure on anything. We received plenty emails and had phone calls reassuring us and making sure we was ok a happy with our plans for our dad’s funeral. The day before the funeral A&A Walters phoned me going through all the times and everything we had requested making sure we where happy with everything which we was.The funeral was perfect everything went smoothly so professional and such a friendly company. We was so grateful to A &A Walters and would highly recommend this company in such a very sad painful time.

The funeral directors were brilliant from taking our friend from her home explaining about the coroner office and helping with funeral arrangements. flowers and order of service and keeping us updated every step of the way .they have arranged the interment of the ashes for use taking the stress out of a sad situation .Thank you so much They have done two previous family funerals again every little detail covered helping sending our love ones off perfectly x
