Our family have used A&A Walters for many years.
When our Mom Margaret Mason passed in August 2026 they were truly amazing throughout!
Karen Newey was our funeral arranger and she was so professional but also very kind, caring, friendly and respectful. She provided everything we needed to get through the terribly difficult task and nothing was too much trouble for her.
Mom’s funeral was something to be proud of as the final thing we could do for her and we are incredibly grateful to all of the staff who helped to make it a true celebration of her life.
They provide a complete service with the utmost dignity and respect to our loved ones and their warm caring kindness helps make them such an excellent service at such a difficult time.

Everything was great. Made it so easy for us. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent company who provide a first class service at the most difficult of times. Their support and organisation helped to ensure that my wife, Christine, had the send off she deserved. At a time of sadness and grief you need to work with people who are kind, empathetic and caring. Everyone I came into contact with at A&A Walters displayed these qualities in abundance. Alicia and all of her colleagues at AA Walters were so caring and supportive when my Dad Kenneth Gutteridge passed away.

I didn't know where to start with planning a funeral but Alicia showed so much empathy and understanding. which really helped me.
From the first call when I rang and made an appointment Alicia was fantastic she helped me with all the arrangements offered guidance and support and nothing was too much trouble.

I cannot thank the funeral directors enough for the care, compassion and professionalism they showed throughout the arrangements for my auntie’s funeral (Susan Sirett). From start to finish, they handled everything with such kindness, dignity and respect, making what was an incredibly difficult and emotional time much easier for our family.

A special mention must go to Karen, who was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. She was caring, understanding, patient and always there to answer our questions and guide us through each step. Her compassion and attention to detail meant so much to us, and we truly felt that my auntie was treated with the utmost dignity and respect.

Following the death of my husband Robert Hancox, A A Walter’s were there for me and my family, particularly Andy.
They were so helpful, kind and very professional and guided us every step of the way. I cannot recommend them enough, having used them once before for the death of my Father.

Had my friends funeral which me and her cousin had to organise, no stress or hassle we was both pleased with how smoothly it all went, Karen went through everything with us and advised us on things, would strongly anyone to use AA Walters

Picking an independent, local funeral directors would have been what Dad wanted and we were certainly not disappointed. From the very start they were supportive and informative. They will give you as much support as you need and we’re happy to answer my calls at any point to explain the process again. Dad was a bit of a local legend and staff at AA Walters went out of their way to pass on their condolences and share their own memories of him. Karen added an extra touch by using AI on a photo and suggesting a fitting song for his service. They made sure dad had a dignified and touching send off .

The whole process from the first tearful call to the funeral was handled with utmost professionalism and respect. My Brother and I were allocated a funeral arranger Stacy, who looked after us so well. Calling at key times to ensure we had everything we needed and answering questions we had. This put our minds at ease. The funeral went well with Ian conducting the funeral from the call the day before to dropping us to the wake reception venue. Everything was smooth and orderly. We can’t thank them enough for making a very distressing time easier to handle. Kindness, professionalism, smooth structure.

When my wife Susan passed away myself and my family didn't know where to start when planning a funeral, we phoned up A&A Walters and from that first phone call we were shown so much empathy and understanding which really helped us.
At our first appointment we met with Andy who talked us through everything, showed us options and was more than helpful when we emailed with more questions. Andy really went above and beyond in replying to our questions as quick as he could to make this emotional time run smoothly. He pointed us in the right direction into how to visit the chapel of rest and is still in touch now if we have any further queries.
The day of the service ran perfectly, i cant fault anyone for their help on the day. Every thing that happened on the day was ran past us first making sure we could honour our wife & mom exactly how we wanted to.
I would recommend this company to anyone who needs it in the future

Andy and the staff at A & A Walters were so helpful when my father Keith Millinson passed away. Having never had to deal with anything like this before, Andy was on hand to advise and assist in all aspects of the funeral - no detail was overlooked and the staff on the day were so respectful and conscious of the families well being. I would not hesitate to recommend them - they offer a highly professional service.

Our dear Mom/wife Lilian Butlet passed away sadly on 1st June 26 and had organised her Golden Charter plan following the excellent service from A&S Walters she had recived for orher family members. From the very first phone call I made to start the process we were dealt with so warmly and compassionately and seen very quickly and made a lovely cuppa on arrival.We requested some changes like having Mom at home and changing the place of the service.This was all agreed and sorted without any hesitation by Stacy Nuttal.She listened to our wishes and helped us with decisions when we were unsure of what we wanted.We visited the chapel of rest a few times and greeted warmly by Joanne and made to feel at ease before we went in.A marvellous job had been done to present Mom beautifully to us.We got great comfort from this.All correspindence by Stacy and Jeremy by email or calls was done efficiently.It was timely without being overwhelming.The order of service and visual tributes were lovely, just what we wanted.Angela Mcartney our celebrant was also amazing in capturing the essence of Mom and we loved the way she looked towards her and spoke so calmly and beautifully to her.She was there to greet us as soon as we stepped out of the cars and made us feel at ease.
The drivers Tony and Alan who brought Mom home were tremendous and respectful of the house and Dads wishes on Mom's placement within it.On the day of the funeral the collection and drop off to the crem and wake was perfect and everything on time .True gentlemen.

Andy and his team handled my Mum's funeral two years ago, and my dad's (Gordon Betteley) more recently. Everything was handled with the utmost kindness and dignity, and everyone couldn't have been more helpful. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We have visited A&A Walters before for other family members funerals in past years. The reason why we went back to them for my late wife/moms funeral is the professionalism , friendliness and the understanding that they show.
We can not thank everyone at A&A Walters enough for their patience, understanding and care when arranging my late wife/moms funeral. From the day we stepped into see Andy at the Sedgley branch to the day of the funeral nothing was to much for them. Andy talked everything through with us, gave us time to process everything before making final decisions and nothing was too much for him, even after the funeral when we had questions he was there to take our call.
We would also like to mention Ian , who on the day made sure everything ran smoothly and his professionalism on that day and respect for my mom and our family.
We would recommend A&A Walters to anyone who has lost their loved one and are unsure of what to and where to go. They will guide you and reassure you in such a difficult time, showing respect for your loved one.

After the death of my Father ( Mario Polito) We went through A & A Walters Tipton branch to handle all the funeral arrangements and we were not disappointed. Karen helped arrange the funeral, she was very professional, caring and patient, she helped us understand our options, and made a difficult process feel manageable. Also Stacy who took over while Karen was annual leave was fantastic with us. In fact all the staff at Walters made us feel at ease at a very sad time.
The order of service was exactly how we wanted it, the cars were immaculate and the undertakers on the day were so professional and caring. We opted for the in house flowers and I tell you they did not disappoint absolutely beautiful.
we visited my dad in the chapel of rest and every member of staff we saw was so caring and compassionate. My dad looked at peace. He had such a lovely send off and that's all down to A&A Walters
Also I would like to mention how lovely the Dog is there, We asked Karen if we could see him and he was such a lovely dog( sorry I forgot his name).
He made us feel calm, his gentle presence made up feel less anxious and bought us comfort.
