I think WSMM is a great experience for people that are trying to break into IB but have no idea where to start. It’s definitely very expensive, but I do think the service you get is worth it if you have no idea what to do. A lot of the recruiting process will still be on you, but I would describe WSMM as a hand that will guide you on the way.

I think the resume reviews are very useful, and the coach channels are great as well. You also get mock interviews and it’s nice to have an insider perspective during the recruiting process.

Incredibly insightful and helpful with feedback

The lessons were very insightful and the coaches were very responsive to any questions I had. This program does a great job of helping you build a process for recruiting/networking and preparing for interviews. I also enjoyed the community aspect of it and was able to build good relationships with the other students.

The program is excellent. Great coaches and modules, and the office hours with former head recruiters were extremely helpful. Helped me land a Citadel summer internship offer on their long/short equities team. Detailed review below:

Before joining the program, I did junior summer internship recruiting on my own. I thought I had enough resources, but I wasn't able to land the IB/buyside offer(s) I was hoping for. I joined a 4+1 program to give myself another shot at summer internship recruiting and knew I didn’t want to face the same outcome. I started looking for help, and even though I was initially skeptical about WSMM, I watched over 10 client reviews on YouTube, which gave me enough confidence that the program was legitimate.

Over the past 7–8 months in the program, I found several aspects particularly helpful. First, their behavioral answer reviews were invaluable. I knew I was stronger technically than behaviorally, but I was shocked to see how weak my behavioral responses were before joining WSMM. The coaches were extremely helpful in guiding me on which stories to use and how to convey key messages effectively.

Second, their office hours were very insightful. Every week, former heads of recruiting held office hours for an hour, providing an inside look into how recruiting actually works and its nuances, covering everything from how banks track networking calls to how offer decisions are made. Understanding how the game works helped me strategize my approach in the most effective way.

Third, the private coach channel was a game-changer. I had direct access to designated coaches where I could ask any questions, which proved extremely helpful. Unexpected situations will come up during the recruiting process which requires bespoke advice. The coaches' advice were very helpful in helping me navigate these nuances as these were advice that I wouldn’t have found online or from someone who had only gone through the process once.

And lastly, what I found most helpful was how much they focused on mindset. Recruiting is not easy, and Sam did a really good job highlighting how important it is to be mentally strong and how to build resilience and grit. Not a lot of people talk about this.

The program will set you up for success, whether you come from a non-target school or are an international student (I’m both). However, your outcome ultimately depends on how well you utilize the resources, ask the right questions, and put in your own effort.

Good Program, work on your own treated it more of a chatgpt type support system to ask questions

It was a great meeting but it ran a bit shorter because Kristin had another meeting to attend to. One piece of feedback I have is maybe have a tangible representation of what was discussed instead of just talking about it. For example, a fillable pdf that is filled out with Krisitin to visually outline the road map for the next few months instead of just being told what to do.

I have been in the program for a bit less than a year now, and so far it has been going very well. The coaches have been very helpful and have guided me well all throughout the process so far. The price is a little hefty for what the program provides; other than that, its great!

She was polite and positive but still outlined a good game plan for moving forward.

Kristin & Andrea is amazing. So excited to invest myself and do this the right way. Sam has created something here that is amazing.

Like to be honest. I am really frustrated especially when coaches only respond me once a day. This can be even more frustrated when the recruiting season is going on. I mean it's especially frustrated when the sailing guy told you the coach would respond you 24 hours and actually responded so slow. Other things are good.

Watching the videos in the "Secret Sauce" have already got me fired up. The insights learned from the video are skills that will be helpful not only in the WSMM Program but all areas of my life. I am determined to apply the insights and remain consistent in my efforts.

She was very helpful in wordsmithing some of my sentences so they sound significantly better and helped me fix everything so it would fit on the page, which I have had a hard time doing at times. She also gave me some really good points on things I should look at, like how certain positions should be phrased or whether I should add more bullet points or remove some.

The program is absolutely a 5-star program. The coaches are easily accessible, slack is organized and efficient, the information in the modules is synthesized and presented effectively and concisely, and there is no redundant/superfluous information. In other words, my expectations have been exceeded and I'm loving the program so far. I'm excited to keep going!

Received a lot of help on the recruitment process. I knew nothing about but now I have a good sense of direction.

The program has been super helpful and the coaches do a great job of answering questions quickly. Also, other members of the program are always willing to help out.

Andrea shared with her advice as to being able to answer all my behavioral questions without fear they would leave the interviewer wondering if I was the right candidate for the job. She was both insightful and have a ton of knowledge on the subject.

Coaches were readily available to help and support me throughout the process. As an economics major, joining this program was essential for me. It has helped provide me with opportunities and prepare me in many different ways.

Sam and the team have really built an amazing platform to help motivated students break into Investment Banking. The coaches and talent he's brought into the program are truly exceptional and I've already seen a massive increase in my response rate when I apply to the Summer Analyst Programs. The one slight downside I'd note is that the program isn't targeted at students recruiting in London, but I'd still highly recommend this program because the marginal benefit of having access to all these resources is truly invaluable.
