Car broke down on the ferry…
Car broke down on the ferry calais-dover and we got stuck on the port because the car was completely dead. Called our insurance and they contacted our personal vacation hero Steven. Very kind man, very engaged and very capable. Despite being quite far from Dover he organized a mechanic to check, book a hotel when it was sure we'd be stuck for the night, a taxi to get my mom and dog to the hotel and a towtruck to get me and the car off the port in the middle of the night mind you. He stayed awake with me to make sure everything works out until almost 4am and organized another towing to his garage the next day with the replacement part already ordered and ready to go. Things got pushed back because a sub-contractor wasn't showing up as he should've and steven sent his guy even further to come pick us up anyway making sure we had our car ready to go and enjoy the rest of our vacation early the morning after after again booking the hotel for us. Since we had a small dog with us, he made sure the tow guys came with trucks where we could place her in her travel carrier and even the hotels were explicitly pet friendly. We didn't have to worry about a thing, no stress at all and overall great experience and great service.

Great Service
Arrived bang on the time I was told. Didn't get the gents name, but was very friendly and informative and helpful. Helped get my car started and told me exactly what I should do next.
Probably an easy job for him, but for someone who knows next to nothing about the inner workings of a car, it was a tad stressful.
Would recommend and use again.

Several delays in initial arrival but…
Several delays in initial arrival but this was due to heavy traffic and Misinformation so really not their fault. Josh was fab and very sympathetic to our plight and our elderly dogs.
It was agreed that we would rather wait for repair then relay service back to home in Western Scotland. Repair was not straight forward but Steve and his fab mechanic (can't remember his name) persevered and got our 39 year old moho working again.
We are now on our way and very grateful that they agreed to repair us. Thanks guys. Your efforts were very much appreciated.

Had to wait a couple of hours to turn up but very professional and efficient. When it was pointed out that I was only covered for part of the recovery back home the guy made a couple of phone calls and was soon back where I needed to be, ye cost me a few quid but that's my fault for not checking my policy properly. Can't fault the company or the guy who picked me up , thanks you saved me alot more hassle.

Down to earth, reliable, professional and quick!
We had a breakdown just off the A1 and needed to call to take us back home. The chap who arrived from VRCR was nothing short of professional and a really really reliable, friendly guy. We have a classic car so always look for people to take more care, and the gentleman (didn’t catch his name) was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Josh was fantastic
Josh was fantastic! I was not feeling very happy at all after a 4 hour plus wait due to the breakdown company (not vrcr) and Josh had driven for at least an hour to get to me but was so bubbly and cheerful, that he lifted my very low spirits. He competently rescued my car and drove it to my local garage. He was very professional and efficient throughout the whole experience. Thanks Josh!

Excellent Breakdown Service – Fast, Friendly, and Reliable
I recently broke down in my 4x4 and contacted Rescue My Car, who I have a personal breakdown policy with. They arranged for VRCR to carry out the recovery – and I couldn't be more impressed with the service from both companies.
The recovery driver from VRCR was extremely punctual, friendly, and very professional. He handled everything smoothly and placed my vehicle on my driveway exactly where it needed to be.
The entire process was stress-free and efficient. I’m very pleased with the excellent service and wouldn’t hesitate to use Rescue My Car again, especially if VRCR are the ones carrying out the recovery.
Highly recommended!

Recovery came within an hour and the…
Recovery came within an hour and the young man who recovered my vehicle was a very nice, chatty chap who did everything he could to make the recovery as smooth as possible, particularly as I live down a narrow lane and manoeuvring his recovery vehicle wasn't easy!

These guys were simply excellent
These guys were simply excellent! They came within a reasonable time (especially considering it was a Saturday). The first breakdown company I have dealt with that actually knew how to deal with a motorcycle. Driver was friendly and quick to secure the bike, and knew the local area. Only slight downside is the tracking app wasn’t very useful. It didn’t reflect where he was when waiting- I know because when he was with me it showed him as miles away. But a great experience with them all the same
