Agent told me that there is a one month…

Agent told me that there is a one month trial period, and when I asked for disconnection customer service told me that there is no trial period. I feel like they are looting money giving misinformations. Never trust Vodafone. they say anything for giving connection after that they changes.

Vodafone Qatar: Denied Cancellation, Unfair Charges

I cancelled my Vodafone Qatar postpaid account in-store on 12 June 2025, with a confirmed cancellation date of 30 June 2025. I followed up again by phone and email on 25 June 2025.

As per Qatar regulations, a postpaid account cannot remain active without a valid Qatar ID (QID). My QID was canceled on 24 June 2025, and Vodafone should have closed my account accordingly.

Despite this, Vodafone refused to cancel my account and is attempting to charge me for a renewed plan I neither used nor agreed to.

Their correspondence has involved deliberate delay tactics that are dishonest and unethical. I have escalated this matter to senior management and Qatar’s Communications Regulatory Authority.

Dear Vodafone Qatar,

I have been experiencing an ongoing internet issue at my home despite paying 400 QAR monthly for fiber service. I’ve called support several times, and even visited a Vodafone branch to complain, but no technician has been sent, and the issue persists.

This level of service is unacceptable and not worth the price I’m paying. My internet has been off in my room for days, and I am seriously considering switching providers once my contract ends.

Beware of the Worst Customer Support and Service

Having customer care that doesn’t genuinely value customers only leads to frustration. If you’re willing to endure it, the network may trap you first and leave you disappointed. It’s best not to rely on promises about timeframes for resolving issues, even when they acknowledge and understand your complaint.

Pathetic Customer Service

If I could give them a 0 score I would have. Their customer service is pathetic. If they ambush you with a 1 month free broadband trial send them away. I have now been trying unsuccessfully for 3 days to cancel the “free” trial. There is always a new reason and excuse why they cannot cancel the service. The so called customer service at the branch told me to call a phone number. I visited the branch in Villagio Mall 4 times already. When I called the number, they referred me back to the branch. May I never have to deal with this pathetic outfit again. Stay away from them.

Absolutely terrible do not join!

Absolutely terrible! stick with ooredoo no matter how tempting their offers maybe. They are cheaper as they lack quality, customer service and basics! I am still waiting to hear back about my complaint 2+ months later, I get calls from different people asking me what the issue is, I now refuse to go over this again as it is mentally draining. I have now reported them to ministry of telecommunications as I refuse to pay for a service i did not receive. They are ignoring my emails also. It is a shame as in the UK vodafone are great! they really lack basics of customer service such as logging calls/ensuring customers do not repeat themselves whenever someone new answers the phone/ service and speed is ridiculous, remote control stops working randomly.. the list goes on! do better vodafone qatar.

Exchanges and Refunds not allowed once package deals are open (beware)

Beware with purchasing any electronic products from Vodafone Qatar. Their policy does not allow any exchange or refund once you opened the packaging even when not using the device and having all the receipts intact.

Very strange behavior from a recognized world wide company like Vodafone. Majority of international companies like Apple and Amazon allow the exchange or refund of electronic products even when opening the packaging (provided there are no damages)

I purchased an old Series 9 Apple Watch model by mistake and wanted to exchange with Series 10 but could not do so.

extremely disappointed with the treatment I received at your Al Khor Mall outlet. Customer Care Executive Sami (of Tunisian nationality) displayed a complete lack of professionalism, disrespectful behavior, and an inability to handle customers properly. His rude attitude was not only unacceptable but also deeply frustrating as a paying customer.
Such behavior is damaging to your store’s reputation and completely unacceptable in a customer service role. I strongly urge you to take immediate action—whether through disciplinary measures or proper training—to prevent such incidents from happening again.

The 1 star I gave is because the review box wouldnt allow you type. Vodafone has disconnected my service without any prior notice knowing that all bills are cleared and I have been a customer for over 9 years. Vodafone customer care team is just a waste of time as they not at all qualified to handle issues instead transfer calls, put you on hold for a long time or just say wait for 24 to 72 hrs where nothing changes. concern was so critical that i am on uae for a business visit and my no. gets suspended with no reason. Several emails, visits to vodafone store through a friend and sevaral calls to the customer care after which there has been 0 progress. i wonder if vodafone qatar is looking into their customer reviews and hope they take other customer issues seriously. I would never recommend to go vodafone in qatar.

Took a flex plan with Vodafone back in…

Took a flex plan with Vodafone back in 2018. Then they were the best. Covid came and things went down hill. The staff would frequently call and claim the flex plan I was on doesn't exist I need to upgrade. Since I didn't want to move to oreddoo I would agree to it. Fast forward 2024 same call only this time they changed me to post paid extra but to my knowledge I'm still on flex plan since this time I didn't agree. In a month I get billed 2. I have raised the complaint but the customer service don't seem to have training at all to handle anything let alone explain.
Why is the staff using "trickery" on clients then act oblivious when questioned.?
Why constantly push to change people's flex plan?
Why are the staff so rude yet they are the ones messing with clients?
Vodafone get to your former glory I can't even pick calls from your team cause they leave me felling like a victim of scam.
Last staff to talk to kosher & Abubakar(very rude)8/1/2025. My issue hasn't been sorted it's the 2nd year complaining of the same thing

Vodafone Qatar steals your money!!

They steal your money. They promise deals of getting two months free but I only received 1 month free!! Be carefull do not use Vodafone in Qatar!! I have spoken to their customer service and went to a shop, still received a bill for my "second free month". Avoid them at all costs.

Terrible experince Vodafone Qatar

I have bought a sim card and paid 40 Qatari riyal, yet the sim didnt work after half a day. Reported at the center where I bought and called customer service both promised to solve the problem but nothing happened!

As I am leaving in 2 days, I will just share with my networks through uk to stay away from vodafon qatar services and will report whereever I can to get back my money.

Rip off from day one

I was promised much better service than Ooredoo with the fastest internet in Qatar. Nothing could be farthest from the truth. From day one I regretted falling for their BS. BAD SIGNAL AND CRAPPY SERVICE. Less than a week and I will be switching back to Ooredoo.

I am Oreedo client and switch to Vodafone but service are too POOR my luck

They don't care about customers

I am experiencing Vodafone for the 1st time in Qatar.

I had a technical issue and opened a ticket.
Fixed an appointment for last Friday, between 11 AM and 1 PM. NOBODY CAME.

Called the customer service, was promised that someone would contact me "immediately".

Waited 24 hours, received a phone call on Saturday.
We agreed that the technician would come yesterday (Sunday) at 6.30PM.
NOBODY came.

My free trial ends here. I am extremely disappointed of the poor attention to the customer.

Probably the world's worst WIFI provider

Whatever you do, never use Vodafone in Qatar. I was a WiFi customer of theirs. I moved flats. I let them know in advance and ran through the process with them on the phone, several times to err on the side of caution. I was told to disconnect all the router and other boxes, move these, call Vodafone once in my new flat and they would send a technician in 24h to set up the WiFi in my new flat. I moved. I called Vodafone once. I was told a technician would contact me. Nobody called me back. I called twice. Again I was told a technician would call but nobody called me. This circus went on for a whole month and obviously in the meantime I have no WiFi. After a month of waiting, and a good dozen calls to Vodafone I gave up and called Ooredoo. In one afternoon I had WiFi up and running in my flat. I called Vodafone to terminate my contract and now months after they are trying to get me to pay for amounts due after I terminated my contract with them as well as for the month when they failed to give me the WiFi connection. The level of incompetence is beyond comprehension. I have waited over 10h of my time on this. All I want is to never have to deal with Vodafone ever again.

I would put zero star for vodafone…

I would put zero star for vodafone qatar. Very bad service , even the employee they’re not helpful. However , i have valet card it got expired and have to renewed on February 2024 i have been to many branches ( city center , villageo , almeera and landmark ) all of them said they dont have cards available but landmark branch gave me expired card that i cant use , i tried to use it at the pearl and i had to pay 30QR for their mistake.
