Wrong color loafers and late delivery

Ordered lowkee loafers in burgundy size 41 and received loafers in black size 41.

Had to pay almost $130 usd of duties to be imported

Package arrived today, 1 week after promised delivery date.

We're sorry for the inconvenience caused by, firstly, the delay in the order, but also that you received the wrong colorway. That is, of course, not good enough.

Could we ask you to get in touch with our customer service at talkto@vinnysthebrand.com? Then we can refund you the duties, since we did not deliver what we promised. Also, if you would be so kind, please share pictures of the shoes and the label on the shoebox, so that we may investigate further why the color was mixed up.

Premium product, premium materials. Worth every penny spent!

I purchased a pair of Vinny’s Yardee Bit Loafers from Nordstrom about a year ago and fell in love with the company ever since. The loafers do run a half size small, which is typical but the construction and style was flawless.. very easy to wear and always felt comfortable even right out of the box. Recently, I decided to purchase a pair of the Vinny’s boat shoes, and I’m happy to say these ones are a hit too. I ordered them from Vinny‘s website this time and the shoes arrived within 72 hours. Not sure if that’s typical, but I’m extremely delighted. The company is based overseas and I still received my package in a timely fashion. I’m really liking the direction the Brand is heading. It seems like every time I visit the site. There’s new shoes that catch my eye. Definitely will be shopping here again. I’ve got my eye on those new Ogee! I’m sure I’ll be completing that purchase soon!

Mine loafers havde efter lidt under et års brug fået et lille hul under bunden.
Uden noget besvær, erstattede de parret med et helt nyt par. Fantastisk kundeservice og fantastiske sko⭐️

Very disappointed with the quality

I purchased the VINNY's YARDY shoes on 04/04/2024, and after just three months of light use, the sole is already detaching. I’ve never experienced this level of damage so quickly, especially not with shoes in this price range

Fantastic service from Vinny’s!
My son’s almost-new Vinny’s tore after only a few wears. Since they were a gift and we no longer had the box, I was worried it would be difficult to sort out. But nothing could be further from the truth! Vinny’s customer service responded immediately, thought along with us, and resolved the issue in a really professional way.

Do better

Let me start by saying I was charged nearly $90 in customs fees at the time of delivery… something I was never made aware of before placing my order. That alone was frustrating, but things only got worse from there.

It’s been days trying to get a proper response from their team. The return label they provided doesn’t even say where I’m supposed to drop the package off, and their website offers no guidance either. Every reply takes days, and trying to reach someone by phone? Useless. I’ve called multiple times and no one ever answers.

This whole experience has been nothing but an unnecessary headache. I expected much better communication and support from a brand at this level.

You're right in your heading. On this one, we should have done better! You should never have been charged nearly $90, which was caused by an administrative error, which has now been fixed. You will also be refunded the money for that.

We have been super busy, so it has taken a day or two for us to get back to you - we apologize for that.

In regard to your feedback on the procedure of returning the shoes, we have taken this into consideration and have implemented further guidance, and are looking into further features that should improve this.

Avoid ordering online to avoid disappointment and time wasting

I would strongly advise against ordering shoes online with this company. They simply don't know what they're doing when it comes to this facet of the business operation. I ordered a pair of Loafers that fit incorrectly. I wanted to return for a smaller size and it's now been a 5-day ordeal just to have the shoes picked up and returned to them. Today, I've just learned that the reason why the Fedex man didn't turn up is because they applied the wrong postcode on the return order. So after taking off work for the morning, I have now spent over an hour on the phone trying to fix this. It can't be fixed until they amend on their end but they have resorted to ignoring my phone calls and emails. Terrible business practice.

We appreciate you taking your time to write the review. We apologize, though, that you're having issues.

That being said, we do not entirely agree with your side of the story. When you create your return in our return portal, it automatically creates a return based on the information provided by you at the order placement, and sends the label to you by email. It cannot alter that information, so if that information is wrong, it is - we're sorry to say - because the original order placed has the wrong information.

We do not offer pick-ups when returning, and never have stated at any point.

We have two colleagues who have spoken to you. One on the phone and one by email, so we have not ignored you. We might not have answered right away, but as stated in the auto-reply, when sending an email to our customer service, we have an answering time of 1-4 business days. We have replied to all your emails no more than a day after.

Lastly, in an email to us, you wrote that a pickup was confirmed. But then they did not show up, due to the information not being correct, and then not telling you that they would not show up. We also don't see why that is our mistake.

I am so happy that I ordered the sandals. I tried them a few weeks ago in Stockholm and fell in love.

I really hope that the burgundy one will be available again.

Thank you for your feedback. However, we do not believe you're being fair in your review here. We have clear instructions on our website as to how you can return your order. The instruction can be found in the footer of the delivery note within your shipment. Once requested, we sent you the link for the return. It did the job and provided you with the label needed for the return.

Also, for your order, you entered the wrong address, called us and asked for it to be changed, we did that, even though it's not always possible. But still, we only receive a 1-star review. This is a great example of how Trustpilot can be used the wrong way.

I think the shipment didnt have enough…

I think the shipment didnt have enough information on the custom declaration…. And its now delayed at the Mexico customs.

I have not recieve it yet, and dont have a date for it either.

I think you need to contact Fedex in order to clarify information so that it goes through customsz
