Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The bathroom furniture is beautifully designed, solidly built, and finished to a very high standard — it has completely transformed our space. We bought a LUS00175 Illuminated Mirror Cabinet, a LUS00022 Tall Storage Mirror Unit totalling over £1600.00 plus a LUS00004 Coralux washbasin and paid for professional installation.
But following the installation we had significant problems with the cabinet hinges.
The first problem was the bottom hinge of the mirror cabinet became disengaged which meant my wife was left holding a cabinet mirror door that was supported by just a single hinge.
We managed to clip it back on but we were more than shaken by that experience. A few days later we had another hinge disengage, this time the centre hinge from the tall cabinet popped off.
There was discussion between myself, my supplier and Utopia. Utopia whilst they did respond they were far more interested in talking to the supplier than myself. At their behest my supplier came and refitted the cabinet hinges.
The upshot of several emails and considerable thought by myself was a second assessment visit which this time included two senior representatives from Utopia plus my supplier. Utopia examined the hinge assembled and further adjusted them all to ensure optimum alignment. We discussed the matter and my concerns concerning the safety of the hinge assembly. Utopia provided certification documentation for the hinge assemblies.
The conclusion of our meeting surmised that my professional installer, who despite having many years of experience with my supplier managed to attach the hinges in a way that left them not fully clipped in. Something which Utopia have assured me isn't something that they normally see, if ever.
Following our discussions on 29/4/25 Utopia have committed to reviewing and updating their install instructions and I sincerely hope that my experience has truly been a 'one off' occurrence despite what appears to be negligence by my installer.
EDIT NOTE: 29/4/25 I have taken onboard Utopia's commitment to reviewing and updating their install instructions and with that in mind I have changed my 1* review to a 4*
I look forward to seeing their updated literature and some way of filling in a 'dink' in my sink, which was also caused by my installer.

10 years after installing a full Utopia bathroom, the toilet seat needed a new soft close mechanism. Without question, this was posted to us immediately, free of charge. Excellent customer service from Utopia and the bathroom still looks as good as new. Highly recommend them.

I asked if any spare handles were available for a 10 year old Utopia bathroom cabinet. Venessa advised they were now obsolete. Next email was to inform me that she had unearthed some in the stores and we arranged collection from reception.

We filled three bathrooms with Utopia fittings around 2 years ago; they look great and have performed beautifully. We had one small problem with a thermostatic shower valve and the team at Utopia again made it happen, sourcing the part and getting it delivered for me to fit. Thanks Utopia!

Poor quality. I purchased a Downtown bath panel manufacturered by Utopia. Within 6 months, the waterproof exterior had failed and water was getting into the MDF interior causing the bath panel to expand and crack
I contacted the company who I purchase the bathroom from and they arranged for a Utopia rep to come and took a look. They refused to admit that the product was faulty. After months of communication and threatening small claims court, they eventually supplied a replacement bath panel free of charge. Unfortunately, after 4 months of being fitted, the same thing has happened to the new bath panel. I'm now replacing the whole bath with a free standing corner bath with no panel (from victoria plumbing at a fraction of the price of the original product) but it means extending the tiling etc so will almost £1000 to 'put right'.
So, thanks for your response to my review Utopia, but no I will not be dealing with you or using your inferior quality products any longer.

I purchased a new build property in February with brand new Utopia sinks. This is the worst sinks I've ever owned. The evacuation holes on the sinks started spotting and turning black within weeks of being here, nothing harsh has been used it is literally being corroded from water. This happened before they'd even been cleaned, and the only product used following the advice I was given is soap. It's so disappointing, it ruins my bathrooms. My last property had a sink that was over 25 years old without any black crap back when companies didn't cheap out on their materials. I contacted them months back and they completely ignored me. I would not buy any of their cheap products and their customer service or complete lack of it was even more disappointing

We had lovely looking Utopia Downton bathroom furniture in English Sage put in a few years ago when we had our bathroom done. It was very expensive but the quality is pretty poor. The glass in the mirror cabinet has 'desilvered' (where the backing comes away from the glass) for a second time. It happened almost immediately that the bathroom was installed and we had to go back to the bathroom installation company who then contacted Utopia. It has to be said that Utopia weren't terribly keen to issue a replacement, but eventually we did get new cabinet doors. Sadly, the same thing happened again and I just could not face going back a second time. It is only, just now, looking at the extent of the deterioration of the bathroom mirror that I have decided to say something. The mirror glass is clearly not able to withstand moisture in the air, though this is dedicated bathroom furniture and our bathroom is extremely well ventilated! I have lived in many properties, and there was a very cheap old plastic mirror cabinet in this house when we bought it, and yet I have never seen this happen to a bathroom mirror. I thought the Utopia Downton range looked lovely, but I wouldn't get it again.

We purchased the Downton with the square ceramic basin and were pleased with the build and finish of the unit. Unfortunately within a year it had developed a small grey line below the plughole, it was very small and we thought nothing of it. Six months on and the line has expanded into a very visible crack and has grown to 2-3 inches in length.
We contacted Utopia and they said it wouldn’t be covered by the guarantee as they didn’t see it as a manufacturing defect. I asked my brother in law (a qualified and experienced plumber) who fitted the unit and he said it looked like a defect due to the position and the fact that the sink is held in a pedestal unit. Like ourselves he was surprised that Utopia wouldn’t honour the guarantee. He is now reluctant to recommend Utopia bathrooms to their customers given the poor response we have received.
Overall we are very disappointed that they wouldn’t honour their ‘Lifetime guarantee’ for sanitaryware which is why we have given them 1 star.

Quality control should raise up yo customer service standards. After contacting as advised, customer services were very polite and arranged the replacement. Will leave 3 stars for that, unfortunately quality is not satisfactory, cannot be replacing items annually.
Quality of these bathrooms is appalling. I paid 10 times more for roseberry furniture than I would buy say off Victoria bathrooms, and its not worth a penny. As if painted with cheap paint in someone's shed. Paint peals off within few month. I contacted shop, they replaced it - same story again after 2 month. I could have bought reasonably priced furniture and pain it myself to get longer lasting result. £500 tap similar to which costs £50 in B&Q is about to corrode and fall apart. And this is only the beginning by the look of it.

I bought a utopia bathroom in 2016, after a few years the chrome handles started to corrode a little and as it was within the 5 year warranty I contacted the shop I bought the bathroom from and they were replaced free of charge, and easy enough to change over and the bathroom looked brand new again. I recently noticed that the handles had started to corrode again, I contacted the shop I bought them from looking for another set of replacement handles, to be told that they had been discontinued. I contacted Utopia direct and spoke with Vanessa who was very helpful and said they would look to see if they had any stock left, they had and the handles arrived next day, unfortunately they were the wrong handles, I explained this to Vanessa, no problem we will check the stores to see if the Luca handles were available, again they were, and Vanessa had them sent out again. To say that I was expecting to pay for these handles as the warranty was up nearly 3 years ago, no question of payment and free postage, outstanding after sales service from Vanessa and Utopia furniture. And the bathroom we bought is still looking new and fresh. Thank you.
I think your customer support team should get a mention for great after-sales service, especially Gemma. One of the best ways to judge a company is how they deal with a challenge. In our case the sourcing of a replacement part for equipment 10+ years old and the speedy delivery was evidence of first-class customer support.

We purchased a Symmetry Bathroom display from Plumbase in 2019, everything fine, until earlier this year we noticed minor marks around the bathroom mirror. some months ago I looked a little closer and found the mirror to be corroding, de silvering, it now is starting to look ugly. As Utopia guaruntee all there furniture for five years, I thought no problem getting a replacement, despite protracted correspondance, (they lost or ignored my first complaint), display suites only have a one year guaruntee???
I did not buy this expensive furniture as substandard, or second quality, my argument is the mirror is not fit for purpose in a bathroom environment, if it only lasts a little over three years.
We had our new Utopia bathroom fitted exactly a year ago and we love it. Two minor issues were sorted by our supplier without resorting to any need to contact the maufacturer on our part. All in all, very pleased.
