Applying for summer camp with USA summer camp has been a straight forward and easy process with great communication throughout. Always receive emails and phone calls from the friendliest staff to check my progress and make sure everything is going well and if I have any questions. I have now been placed in a camp for people with additional needs like I’d hoped for and can’t wait to have the best experience. Would 100% recommend applying for camp through USA Summer Camp.

Refusing to refund one of their earliest applicants before the recruitment even began. I changed my mind before they even began working for their money, I suppose its fair to keep the deposit as that's usually how it is but keeping the other 350euro? Seriously, its such a horrible company. They are selfish and hide their unfair and inconsiderate refund/ cancelation policy in their small print of their program agreement which you sign after paying the money. I am in desperate need of this money, and can in no way afford to follow through with the program even if I wanted to. I have had a change in circumstances that makes this not a realistic thing that I can pursue even in the future due to education and work commitments that I intend to undertake. I am just so gutted that they can actually do this to someone, I really feel like I have been robbed.

USA Summer Camp have a marvellous team of staff (many of whom are ex-camp councelors and will be able to give first hand experience and tips) who swiftly respond and continue to contact you, so as to maintain a progressive schedule and remove any concerns and stress the process may create.
Special shout out to Glen who is a joy to communicate with on the phone.
I reserve a five star review because I understand they it can be rather difficult to receive a refund from the company. Mostly, the option provided is to reapply for a future year, which isn't always accessable for some.

Friendly and welcoming staff, always happy to help! The process was easy and I was supported throughout it all. I can’t wait for my summer of a lifetime!!

PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE THE SUDDEN AMOUNT OF POSITIVE REVIEWS. This is a response by Summercamp USA to counter the many honest negative reviews regarding deposits being withheld despite a directive in 2 open letters from the CMA to the travel industry stating all deposits should be returned. I am now in touch with the CMA and others who have had their deposits withheld. If this is not done voluntarily the CMA have said they will bring in powers to enforce this.

Camps were not open to UK students in 2020/2021
The USA/Mexico border has ONLY just opened up in Nov 21.

My previous review has been upheld by Trustpilot as I provided evidence that camps were not open. I have also reported the review claiming that a student attended a non-open camp via Mexico. I have a number of US friends and am up to date with the pandemic situation in the US.

This is my first time participating in Camp America (going summer ‘22) and so far the the experience has been fab. Everyone who has spoke to me is so professional, kind and honest. All phone calls can be re-arranged to fit your schedule and there has been no confusion at all; everything is made super simple and clear! Would highly recommend participating if you haven’t already!

I’ve used usasummercamp/CCUSA now for 3 summers and will be travelling back to the U.S for a 4th. They have never failed to help me or explain things to me when needed, they even helped me get to camp during COVID via Mexico! I very much recommend going to work at a camp, you’ll meet friends for life (and all over the world for free stays) and have amazing memories, I also couldn’t recommend usasummercamp enough!

USA summer camp made it so easy to make my application, with a step by step process and check in calls to see how I was getting on. I was lucky to get accepted into a camp already and wouldn’t have managed it without them.

All the team at USA summer camp have been amazing help in organising my trip to camp this Summer. I would highly recommend them as the company to use when going to camp!

They were nothing but professional and helped me with every step along the way and woth every question I had.

No compassion for students who are not able to have their placement deferred for 2 years, due to full time employment, once the USA is open again. No refunds! I would urge anyone else in the same position to contact the BBC Watchdog and their local MP.

Just seeing your reply shows how little regard you have for feedback. It has been explained to you MANY times that my daughter cannot go as they will be in full time employment next summer. Hopefully 'you' can go??? You are not being blamed for COVID, just for withholding deposits and profiteering from a pandemic. Students have had a miserable time of it as it is, having to have online lectures and paying for accommodation they didn't use without you adding to their financial strain. Seeing there are lots of similar complaints I have now contacted BBC Watchdog, my local MP, Martin Lewis and journalist friends. I urge others to do the same and not believe the sudden positive fake reviews!

A fabulous experience!
Everyone I spoke to was extremely helpful, professional, honest and supportive. The members of staff were patient with me during the application process and were always available to answer questions. Would 100% recommend!!

Really helpful and supportive! I used USASummerCamp for the summer 2021 camp experience. They helped to keep me up to date and organised with all the documents required for camp. Their staff were extremely helpful whenever I had a question or a worry about the upcoming camp season. Even when I was in America, I had to go to see a doctor and required a prescription, their emergency contact number helped me through the entire experience. I could not recommend the agency enough! Looking forward to another brilliant summer!

USA Summer Camp has been an amazing company to work with. I’ve been wanting to be a camp counsellor for a long time and their continued help and support made everything so much easier. Speaking to both Lauren and Laura has been a pleasure throughout the entire process, with them being able to answer any questions or queries I may have had. I would 100% recommend USACC to anyone, as I have already done!

Laura was very helpful during the whole preparations of the trip. She gave me good advice on how to get my documents and made good recommendations and travel tips. I appreciate her help greatly with planning my trip.
