Excellent expirience!

I’ve had a really good experience with Wild Packs. Summer 2026 will be my fourth summer working at camp through them, and the process has always been clear and well organized.
The team is very helpful and always quick to answer questions or help with anything needed during the process. I would definitely recommend them if you’re interested in working at a summer camp abroad.

Wild Packs has been extremely helpful, specifically Chloe. They have made the process very smooth and I’m excited to enjoy my summer in the US.

Wildpacks have been so helpful in my process of going to summer camp, they have made is so much less stressful than I anticipated. Instructions on how to fill out embassy forms, group calls with useful information, and 1-1 mentoring that I could easily text any worries and questions to (thank you Chloe!!) I cannot recommend Wildpacks enough!!!

I was recommended to use WildPacks this summer after using different agency’s in previous years to head to camp. And I am so glad I made the switch. The whole team at Wildpacks is incredibly helpful and supportive, and I could not recommend them more. Everything is explained in detail, and they remind you if you have forgotten any tasks which shows me they care. I have worked with Marisa and Rosa and they were both so lovely. Really recommend if you are looking to do a summer camp in the US!

I've used wildpacks twice now for camp america and they have supported me through everything i need in order to get my documents done! Super easy to get a hold of someone if youre confused at anypoint. A really friendly team, all positive experiences for me!

Also i am to understand i was on higher pay compared to some other agencies others have used for camp america :)

Chloe was so helpful and helped me find a camp and complete everything needed, she answered all of my questions and was easy to communicate with.

Any time I needed a question answered I received help directly within a short response period. I also received friendly reminders for tasks I'd forgotten to do, which overall carried me through my visa application process.

Wild packs from the very beginning of your application are hands on and so so helpful. They have made me feel reassured throughout the whole process and as this is my first year going to camp it has been appreciated. The office team have all been to camp themselves so being able to see their experiences and get guidance from them has been very helpful. I couldn't recommend enough especially as a first year; they help with any queries you may have.

Wildpacks is in my opinion one of the best camp staff hiring agencies out there. They treat you as more than just a number and you truly feel like you matter. I couldn’t recommend them more. Been with them for five years now and they helped me through a lot.

They have made my experience the most comfortable and efficient that it has ever been.

My experience with this organisation raised serious concerns about how neurodivergent applicants are treated.

As an autistic applicant, I made clear and repeated requests for reasonable adjustments—specifically for clear, concise, written communication. Despite this, I encountered several issues during the process:

1. **Application handling:** My application was archived and later unarchived without notification, which made it difficult to engage with the system and may have affected my ability to progress.

2. **Accessibility of communication:** The communication I received relied on implied understanding and lacked the clarity I had explicitly requested as a reasonable adjustment.

3. **After raising concerns:** After submitting a formal grievance, I was informed that no positions were available. Given the timing, this raised concerns for me about whether I was treated unfavourably after asserting my rights.

4. **Information about legal processes:** I was told that ACAS Early Conciliation would not apply because I was not an employee. This appears to conflict with my understanding that Equality Act 2010 protections can extend to applicants during recruitment.

Based on this experience, I have escalated the matter to ACAS Early Conciliation and am considering further action.

If you are a neurodivergent applicant, it may be worth ensuring that any requests for reasonable adjustments are clearly documented throughout the process.

Wildpacks themselves were helpful and supportive, probably the best company to go to if you want to go to a camp in the USA, they negotiate a very high salary compared to other organisations. But the camp I was sent to was very unprofessional and the way international staff were treated was very unfair, bullying from administration and preferential treatment meant that four different internationals chose to leave the camp, I would have too if I could afford to change my flights. I think Wildpacks needs to do a better job of reviewing the camps they keep contact with, and only put people in contact with camps that fit the description of what that person wants. E.g: I wanted to be a counsellor at an overnight camp, and ended up a lifeguard at a day camp. Wildpacks makes it very difficult for you to reject a camp and so a lot of people end up at camps they're not happy with because they are pushed to accept the first offer they are given.
