In Warehouse Warehouse Scan???

There are no words strong enough to describe the sheer incompetence and indifference demonstrated by UPS in handling this shipment.
This package was shipped on August 11, 2025 — and after two full months, it remains trapped in Louisville, Kentucky, endlessly cycling through meaningless “Warehouse Scan” updates with no progress, no communication, and no accountability whatsoever.

Throughout this entire period, UPS has provided zero transparency. The tracking history reads like a parody of inefficiency — dozens of identical scans with no indication of movement or resolution. Every attempt to contact customer service has been a masterclass in futility: scripted apologies, empty reassurances, and absolutely no real action. Not a single representative could explain what is actually happening to the package or when — if ever — it will be released.

For a corporation of this global scale, such prolonged stagnation and disregard for customer trust is unacceptable, unethical, and frankly disgraceful. It reveals a profound collapse in both operational oversight and moral responsibility. UPS appears to have mastered the art of delay while abandoning even the pretense of accountability.

Let this review serve as a warning to anyone entrusting UPS with valuable shipments: if you value reliability, transparency, and basic human communication, look elsewhere. What UPS calls “in transit” is, in reality, a black hole of silence and negligence.

Utterly unacceptable. UPS should be held accountable for this logistical farce.

"Delivery Attempt Failed"? More Like Delivery Not Attempted

The previous UPS delivery guy for my neighborhood was fantastic. Friendly guy, always brought packages up to my door even though I'm at the top floor of a walk-up, etc. Unfortunately, UPS moved him to a different delivery area. The new guy regularly puts packages in weird places in the building (like, random parts of the lobby that aren't even the mailroom), and that's when he delivers at all. This morning, I got a text notification about a failed delivery attempt for a time-sensitive package, but despite the fact that I had been home all day, including at the time of the supposed "delivery attempt," there had been no knock at my door and nobody had buzzed up to my apartment or knocked on my door — and I know my buzzer was working because non-UPS people buzzed up both before and after the supposed "delivery attempt." I called customer service to tell them as much and to say that I needed the package that day. I was pretty much told, in so many words, "Well, we can tell the driver this, but it may just suck to be you — you may just have to wait. No, we don't care that the package is time-sensitive or that the claimed delivery attempt clearly wasn't actually made." To add to this, when I later checked both my individual apartment's door and my building's entrance, no paper notice was left for a missed delivery, as UPS would typically do if they had actually made a delivery attempt instead of lying about it. I wouldn't have even known that a delivery attempt was (supposedly!) made if it weren't for the automated text notification.

If i could give 0 stars I would

If i could give 0 stars I would. Parcel left UK 9th September, should of been delivered 11th September to my son who is studying in USA. Took weeks to clear Customs but finally 23rd September it did and now suddenly no one knows where it is....Awful service, no one wants to deal with it and now told it will take 10 days to investigate..........first and last time of using UPS !!

I'vIt couldn't be worsee noticed that many companies

I've noticed that many companies, particularly those I order from, have contracts with UPS. Some have replacing FedEx with UPS- very much in vain . I can't understand why this company is so honored. Now, delivery looks like this: every day, UPS sends emails saying the package will be delivered tomorrow, but it doesn't arrive. The next day, the same thing happens, and this can go on for a week or more. I write to the sender, and they reply that they can't do anything. So the question is: why do they need THIS kind of logistics!? UPS is letting down their employers—the shippers— and their buyers. Back in 2020, I read a review about them and now I remember, "UPS delivery people are a whole other race of superhumans. They won't deliver your goods on weekends; they're on vacation, after all, they're important." I agree. It feels like customers exist for the delivery service, not the other way around. With work like this, they shouldn't have any work. A 4-5-day delivery turns into 7-10 days, which is how long I wait for my packages, sometimes longer. On Friday, they sent another letter to the post office saying they'd deliver the package on Monday, but today, again, nothing arrived. Why do they need such employees? If I were the senders, I'd terminate their contracts. How can such logistics be acceptable?

Every company should ship via UPS

Great services that work more often than not. The ability to see how close a driver is to my house is super nice. They are super consistent as to the rough timeframe that they say they will arrive in.

Managing packages and setting a default pick-up location has been super nice. It worked 8/10 times before I got the paid package managing service. Now it magically works all the time…woopdy do. But at least it does work which is more than I can say about FedEx or any other shipment delivery services.

UPS isn’t perfect but it is significantly better than the rest. I want every company to ship through them.

No up to date information on delivery

First of all, the estimated delivery time being "by end of the day" is horrible in itself, as it could be at any given moment through the day. Been waiting all day (till past 9 pm) on the day my parcel was supposed to be delivered, rescheduled plans to the day after to assure i was home. They didn't deliver it. The next day, also saying by the end of the day delivery, nobody was home and ofc they delivered it in the morning hours. Luckily my neighbour saw it and picked it up for me but overall horrible experience. Zero up to date communication or notices on the state of the delivery.

Food spoiled / due to late shipment

Had a package of food that was shipped via UPS
The food shipment required refrigeration (distinctly labeled on the box) which UPS totally ignored. Moreover the Jacksonville NC processing facility is without doubt incompetent. They received the package around 3:13 am on 27 Aug and processed it FIVE hours later and then failed to deliver a cold packed package the same day. The package was deliverd early evening on the 28th of August and the food was spoiled. Nothing like a day late and a dollar short. Gross incompetence and lack of caring. I also experienced issues with this facilii logistics as a business owner in the past.

COD - No information from UPS as to what it's for

Purchased two pieces of art from Canada. Shipper requests money on delivery, but doesn't have any information on what it is for. There are no details available to us as the consumer online either.

I opened a dispute because one was $45, and the other was $670 for the same item shipped a week apart. Something is wrong and the claim says they will get to it within 8 weeks. Meanwhile my shipment is possibly being sent back to Canada.

The issue I see is there isn't transparency. They do not tell me what the fee is for. I paid shipping to the artist. This is tariff free according to the law, but maybe this is a tariff.

The driver cannot tell me, and it isn't their fault, but it's just scary that they say 'pay this or you don't get your item' and you have no receipt that tells you what you paid for.

It should be clear. This is deceptive.

The driver lied on the tracking

The driver lied on the tracking. He said he tried to deliver and was unable to. I have been sitting here the whole time! I called customer service because this was medication that needed to be refrigerated. They said they would have it to me within an hour to an hour and a half. 2 hours later... Still no package. Called customer service again. They said I will have it in an hour. They will mark it urgent. Guess what? Still no package. Do not use UPS for anything that is time sensitive, requires refrigeration, and is extremely expensive or valuable!!

Second bad experience

I ordered an art print from Posterlounge. I received a text message Thurs 24/7 at 10.05 pm telling me it would be delivered tomorrow, Friday. I received a further text message at 11.05pm telling me the same thing. I switched off my phone. Checked my emails next morning, I had received an email the previous evening at 7.25pm saying delivery would be tomorrow Friday. There was a further email at 11.05pm saying the same thing. I stayed home all day and there was no delivery. Checked their tracking details, on the way, in Nurnberg Germany at 09.21hrs on Friday so there was no way it was ever going to be delivered on Friday. Checked tracking today Saturday 26/7 and it's still in Germany at 02.09hrs. It hasn't moved in almost 24 hours. This art print was only available from Posterlounge but I won't make the mistake of ordering from them again.

Damaged UPS art shipment

I insured a UPS art shipment, which arrived damaged. UPS approved my claim, issued a cheque and then sent it to the wrong person. Now they are refusing to reimburse me what I am owed. I paid $235.00 to build a sturdy crate for shipping. It would have been well-protected so it had to have been dropped from a considerable height during transit. It is fraudlent to sell a customer insurance, agree to pay it, make a mistake and pay the wrong customer and then refuse to pay the righful claim. I would not recommend UPS for any shipments.

Paid Guaranteed 2nd Day Air/ Received 4 Day delivery

(Aug 13, 2025 - UPDATE): Refunded My Choice Membership then found out they can't fully refund the late package delivery due to costs associated with transportation. So lost ~8.5%. Bottom line is that I paid them ~8.5% of the shipment cost to deliver it in twice the amount of "guaranteed" time for delivery. Talk about a scam...
(Jul 14, 2025): Per UPS My Choice account, purchased Guaranteed 2nd Day Air label (for delivery on Jul 10), but letter was delivered in 4 days (Jul 14). Had to call multiple UPS 888 numbers (text/chat is WOT) to: (A) Initiate refund of 2nd Day Air purchase and (B) initiate refund of My Choice membership. Both are pending.

Horrible efficiency

They have sent a delivery date several times all different days and times. One second it's expected Monday, then the next Saturday, then Tuesday, then Friday... They also always say it will be delivered earlier than it is and they have to change it to by end of day last second. Always multiple shipping delays for larger items

So many times UPS has let me down

So many times UPS has let me down. For example today was my “day off,” yesterday I missed the phone call to provide access to the security gate. Because of this I had to make a special trip in L.A. traffic just to pick it up. What a great waste of time.

The worst was when I had to go on temporary disability due to an injury. And because they had switched out the payment cards, I had to get a new payment card manually shipped to me. My entire livelihood was dependent on the funds on that card. And they for some reason did not get the card delivered in time the shipment was delayed. And they refused to make any way for me to come and pick the card up from the facility. They made me weigh over 24 additional hours while I was starving to be able to have the payment method. I will never forget that. I had to spend countless hours on the phone. The customer support is terrible.

If I could give a negative star I would.
I have used the UPS my choice a few times to hold packages at the UPS access point so I can pick them up. It is easier for me.
The last 6 packages have been delayed 6-7 days and deliveries changed multiple times. This is supposed to be a service that they are providing but it's like their heads explode when you change the delivery to an access point! I spoke with an agent who told me one of my packages was lost, only to receive an email two hours later telling me to go pick it up!
They are totally lost, the service is a joke, they are the slowest company in North America and the crappiest!

UPS is becoming a total nightmare

UPS is becoming a total nightmare. Like playing games with the customers....Worst experience ever!!!!! they won't let you change the delivery date they won't let you leave it at a neighbour they won't let you send it to an access point . If you want to do what any normal delivery company does you need to pay for the choice subscription it's frankly a disgrace. Calling their customer service is a joke. They write notes that nobody reads. I have been waiting a package and they keep changing the delivery attemps. I am literally sittimg at home waiting for the package and the driver wont leave the package. Now, it is coming back to sender. WORST COMPANY...I hope it goes out of business.

I log in and track package and it tells…

I log in and track package and it tells me information is missing and it is stuck at the border. I go online to see what info is missing. No way to tell or contact anyone. Try to call, they stick me in their phone tree for age and after i enter all the dumb tracking info they tell me to check the website or call back later. THANKS! I guess I'll just sit here and see if my valuable packages that I paid $250 to ship ever arrive. Also, I wanted to change my address on their app and they said they will send me a link with a pin to do so. In 5 days. When I went to use pin and change address days later, it wouldn't work. Pretty bad.
