UPP has just installed full fibre broadband. What a marvellous company. All the time lines, the engineers and the quality have been truly amazing. I’m one day into using my 200mbps broadband and I’m so happy. Such a quality company, five states doesn’t give them enough should be millions.

Although my time slot was 8am-10am, Nathan and Gabs arrived at 8:05am and they even called beforehand to apologise for running 5 mins late lol. They had me up and running in no time at all, explained everything to me and everything works perfectly and at lightening speeds.

Fantastic installation experience. Cain and Adam popped round the day before it was due to be installed and had it installed in just a couple of hours. The whole process was very slick and I'm now enjoying fast stable broadband.

Had my UPP Broadband fitted today , two hours before scheduled time slot.The two guys Cain and Adam were brilliant. No mess left, all cleared up ! Tested the download/upload speeds and weren’t satisfied until I got the best speeds. My current contract with BT runs out shortly and will have no hesitation in telling them I’m not renewing. Cannot fault the guys and service at all.

The ground work by Seamus and Charlie (360 Networks) was quick and left the 'dig site' as they had found it, albeit with no warning they were going to arrive! The installation today by Cain was a very pleasant experience, he carried out a very neat job, sympathetic to our house network infrastructure. I must also mention two other 360 contractors, I don't know their names, but yesterday they were working on the subduct for a neighbour, who is changing ISP, and when I spoke with them about our job they completed the subduct for our house, and came back this morning to blow through the fibre, a great help to our installation engineer. Post install we have in excess of the promised speed, 209 Download, 208 Upload and ping of 5 ms.
The poor bit was customer communication, I was contacted by UPP to arrange the civil works early in September as the install had been originally planned for the 26th of that month. A proposed date for the civil works was between the 20th and 23rd, by the 25th I hadn't been contacted by UPP and no engineers had appeared, so I rang them to find out what was happening, no further information was available, I was told, due to staff sickness, but that the install wouldn't be on the 26th. The next contact was from Seamus who phoned me from outside our house on Friday 29th September about the ground works, we returned home and were told that although he was only there for a check on the work required to clear a duct blockage, he would get authority to carry out the required work in a way that was acceptable to us, and achievable in the time he had available that day. I phoned UPP on the following Monday to advise that the duct work was complete, and the install followed rapidly today. The equipment is great and by using the admin menu from a networked PC I was able to change the Network name and password to that of our previous router and split 2.4G and 5.2G onto separate names thus allowing all our 'smart' devices to operate as before without a lengthy reinstall.

Mostly not bad, but from time to time the Internet disappears or slows down. This is especially noticeable in the evening, probably due to the heavy load on the network.

Decided to make the leap away from Sky broadband after a long time being with them. So far so good. Initial sign up very easy and correspondence with Upp very good. Installation date booked and work was completed prior to the date. This was brilliant as it meant the installation was done quickly. Alex the engineer contacted me prior to the visit and was very helpful during the installation. Explained the app and even the benefit of the parental control element of the app. Very good service overall. Also the price has surprised me.really.good offer. I would recommend from my experience. I had text messages and emails from Upp after registering my interest in switching to them from TalkTalk. I had a question about their "Upplink" devices, used to deliver a Internet signal from the main house server to other parts of the property. My emails remained unanswered. Today I phoned Upp using the phone link from their email. A man running a care home service answered. Nothing to do with Upp. I tried again and noticed that after clicking the phone link provided by Upp that the last two digits transposed, again taking me to the care home provider. I manually called the advertised Upp number and, despite saying all questions would be answered, spoke to an Upp employee who admitted he knew nothing about the Upplinks. He spoke to his manager, who also knew nothing about them. His response was to advise that I book an engineer and ask them how they work when they arrive to provide the service. Not unnaturally I was not keen to sign for anything before I knew how it all worked. Their email message to me is pasted here. Beware the phone link.

Booked the day off they never arrived to install at the time provided. Spoke with customer support who gave me a poor excuse of block ducting when pre checks had been done weeks earlier. No communication at all!!
No date has been provided for future install.
Not a good first experience!!

guy called Freddie installed my broadband today, absolutely fantastic. let me choose where i wanted my broadband placed and also great recognition for clearing up his mess. even offered to help me put back the table i moved out of the way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Our transfer from sky to upp has been nothing less than a joy.
From the initial call to the engineers doing the install it was smooth and painless.
The connection was easy to set up and the speeds are nothing short of incredible.
Can't fault anything, boring as that may sound.
Loving it so far, 1 week in and it's been perfect.

Very happy that I made the decision to move to Upp.
Michael our engineer arrived at the designated time, explained what was going to happen and essentially got on with the job, verified the signal in all rooms, cleared up checked we were happy and said bye bye.Perfect service from start to finish and now have 500Mb reliable fibre broadband.
