Set up a new domain - really easy. Website was up and running in 2 days.

Transferred a domain name in and had a problem with email forwarding. Raised a ticket and all was resolved in under 15 minutes.

The customer service over our recent issue has been very responsive and outstanding. They could further improve by emailing customers about forthcoming price rises without expecting customers to monitor the company's online notifications. However UKC did an excellent job at listening to my concerns around this.

UK Cheapest is great value for money. They also have excellent response times to any technical issues.

There is a major problem in their actual registration form to create a new account which means you get billed twice. If you leave any of the "required" (but not marked as required!) fields empty, the form takes your payment, but then (and only then) returns you to the sign-up form to tell you that you need to complete more fields. And then there's no way to submit that new data without processing a second payment. Having experienced this first glitch, and requesting a refund on the duplicate payment, I then tried to go about setting the CNAME records on my brand new domain... and there's an error "ZONE NOT VALID" shown all over the DNS settings. This entire site now feels broken and scammy, like it's designed to break, take your money, and drive you away.

Easy to use systems, rarely have any issues but when I do the support is great

Very easy to use. Register a domain name. Buy some hosting. Set up a website and off you go. Been with them for many years and don't see any reason to change.

In the main, these guys are spot on, rarely giving incorrect info, but beware if you get Thomas, he has given poor info on several occasions, even giving a promise on a price then after rechecking, increased it.
The support system is good, with timely responses, but sometimes it would be better to have a telephone contact when something is really urgent.

We had an issue with webmail. Many of the level 1 team worked day and night to resolve the issue, and fixed it without delay. Thanks to all the support team!
