Typo Tygervalley: Rude Staff
Had an awful experience today with extremely unprofessional staff in Typo Tygervalley. A young girl had slipped on the floor and landed quite hard, and the three female staff members found it hilarious and continued to laugh hysterically long after the girl had left the store. A customer was trying to pay at the till and the cashier could not keep a straight face for long enough to explain the checkout process to her - you could see the paying customer was not impressed. I eventually approached the laughing staff members on my way out and told them that I don’t think it’s funny to laugh at a young girl who has potentially hurt herself from a big fall. At which point they continued to laugh, and I could hear them carrying on as I walked away. Typo, this is absolutely unacceptable and honestly put me in a terrible mood - this is not customer service and extremely unprofessional! Best believe I won’t be shopping here again.
Awful CS as others say
Awful CS as others say. My item arrived broken but useable. As it was a gift for the next day I just asked for a partial refund and I was told they could not do these! The item was broken and they wanted me to send it back and waste time when it's still useable. Why not just partially refund me. Halfway through my conversation with CS we lost connection, I assumed they would get back in touch as we had not reached a resolution... Do you think they did? Of course not
1st and last order
Beware of this company. The sizing was really weird and the customer service is robotic and pointless. Didn't receive a full refund and no point trying to complain as it's impossible to get past the brick wall. You kept my money this time but I won't order from you again!
Scammers and liars; avoid
Placed an order that got lost in Evri's system for some weeks so I never received it. The customer service at Cotton On/Typo is diabolically bad. Agents simply lie and make zero effort to resolve the situation; they didn't even offer to get the products sent out again.
I was being promised that my parcel "will be delivered tomorrow" for several days, despite me pointing out that the tracking had not been updated in over a week.
After going through half a dozen different agents they eventually agreed to process my refund. Then I got stuck in an endless loop of asking their chat bot agents where my money was as, needless to say, no refund was processed. I finally got my money back after basically begging one of the agents to please help me because the constant chasing and just being lied to was sending me crazy.
I look forward to the day (which I expect will be in a matter of months) when their UK operation closes and nobody else has to deal with these clowns.

If I could give Typo 0 stars, I would. The manager at Warringah Typo is highly irritating, selling me products and asking questions even when you could tell I wasn't having it. Let me shop in peace.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered some fold-able boxes from Typo online, after buying the same boxes in the store. The boxes that arrived were bigger than the dimensions of the boxes I had brought in the store and then the dimensions stated online. This was a problem because I had built custom furniture to fit the boxes with the particular dimensions.
I returned for a refund and flagged the sizing issue. Typo lost my package in their warehouse and never refunded me.
The customer service is HORRIFIC, though it is a big company making lots of money, that has sold me an incorrect product. They could not admit their own fault or issue me a refund. It's been over a year of asking them to refund me.

I haven’t experienced awful customer service like this in a while. Seems all their social media platforms are automated as they repeat their messages like robots or blatantly ignore you even leaving you on ‘seen’ when you need help?… There’s no compassion with their services. what’s that about? Companies like this earn millions and usually help their customers even at their expense, loyal customers are everything. Typo seems to not care for theirs! Cool shop but won’t be returning. Every other company I shop with actually helps me when I need it. Shout out to Caitlin via their customer service email, their various strange twitter accounts, and their Instagram account !🙄

Faulty items were received
Faulty items were received (dirty, scratched, indented) alongside items that were not requested but received instead of the items ordered. There were also items that were already opened, which is appalling and a health hazard. I would like to have a refund for the items that were (purposefully or not) damaged. For this, I have sent the list of all items, with the faulty ones circled in an email. I have bought items from this store in the past, however, they never got to me in this state. I do hope this was just an "eerily coincidence" between the items that were received this time, but seeing the amount of similar reviews, and the fact that Typo either blocked my email, or the server is too full of complaints, (so it won't accept anymore) made me rethink my decision of buying from here ever again. I will advise everyone else from my industry to not bother. Just lost A LOT of possible customers Typo, as they probably will advise more people to do so after hearing about this.

I bought a bag in the typo store and donated £1 for the planting of trees. The same day I looked at typo online and the bag I bought in store was in the sale. I emailed typo and asked why the sale price was not in store and they said online sales does not apply in store. Ive never known online sales to not be in the sale in store. I don't think it's a good principle.

Faulty items, impossible returns
The pens I ordered do not work and there is no option to return them on the website. I have asked for help from customer service but they told me to return them using the form on the website - which doesn't exist. I have since received an email asking me to review the item which I did - giving it one star and saying the pens didn't work - and they've just emailed me to say they won't publish it on the website. Well bugger you Typo I will publish it here.

Poor customer service received from the lady. Typo Blacktown shop. Date and time of visit 04Feb2023 morning shift. Grumpy and made an annoying face. Poor service. Don’t have a welcoming face Fix her attitude please.
Fraudulent company
Fraudulent company. Avoid. Promised a refund and they never have never honoured it. Have tried since November 2022 to sort out the matter. They ignore emails.
Happy with service and goods
Ordered very early in December for a Christmas present. The order was despatched within a day. Due to the various strikes and delays by courier companies it took much longer to arrive. Message was responded to quickly to apologise. The parcel did arrive on Christmas Eve and very happy with it. I am more than happy with the service provided by Cotton on and will use again . Some if the reviews I feel are unfair as the courier strikes have caused the delays not the company

Appalling customer service and no apologies!
Used previously with no problems, what's happened this year guys? Ordered four items 9 December, never came, chased several times, told on 17th they were out of stock so not sent- why did you allow me to order it and pay for it then? No refund as yet on the 19th- guess will have to chase several times again, and there's no phone number you can contact them on. Received one item out of four ordered, a personalised item and they spelled the name wrong. My daughter Blake will henceforth be known as Blanke- not impressed.
EDIT- New bag promised as a rplacement came via express delivery- with no name at all! I just give up....
