I recently placed an order with T-Shirt Elephant for 76 custom jackets through their website. The order total was $1,124.90, which I paid in full. I received an email confirmation stating, “We have received your payment and will begin processing your custom apparel shortly.”

Approximately 18 hours later, Customer Service contacted me because six of the jackets in size XS were unavailable and asked if I wanted to substitute six Smalls. I declined the substitution.

Several hours after that, I received another email advising that T-Shirt Elephant had made a pricing error during a website update and that my $1,124.90 order should actually have cost $6,541.36. I was given the option of paying an additional $5,416.46, reducing my order, or cancelling it.

I completely understand that businesses make mistakes — I own a business myself. What disappointed me was how the mistake was handled.

I questioned the cancellation because the order had already been paid for and confirmed, and their Customer Service team had subsequently reviewed it and contacted me about an inventory substitution. I specifically asked that the order not be cancelled while I sought clarification. It was cancelled and refunded anyway.

I was also repeatedly told that the jackets had mistakenly been priced at $0.75 each. However, $0.75 was apparently an internal blank-garment component of their pricing. The price actually presented to me and confirmed on my order was $15.41 per completed jacket. I had no knowledge of the $0.75 internal price when I made the purchase.

Ultimately, T-Shirt Elephant relied on the provision in its Terms of Service allowing it to cancel orders at its discretion and declined to fulfil the order.

The pricing error itself isn't why I'm leaving this review. Mistakes happen. It's the way the situation was handled after a paid order had been confirmed and subsequently reviewed by their staff that left me disappointed with the customer service and resolution.

I like the Gildan youth t-shirts, thick soft 100% cotton. The web interface for uploading and specifying your design is quick and clear. i’m a repeat customer. Recommended.

Print quality was great. Interface was easy to use.

I created a design for a one off shirt. I didn't make the art large enough, but T-Shirt Elephant were able to upscale it without losing detail.
the shirt itself has a decent weight to it, and the design bonds well with the material.
Shipping was reasonable, although a bit slow.

I ordered 3 shirts and 2 hats. Great customer service, quick turnaround, fantastic quality.

T-Shirt elephant has been a great apparel provider for our hockey program. The design process is super easy and their options are almost endless. I found the materials and printing to be good quality, and their free shipping service is fast and convenient. It would be great if they had a continuous discount program for high volume customers, they would receive a five-star review every time!

I ordered a custom American Apparel t-shirt in a light blue shade and the print turned out beautifully. I live nearby and was able to pick it up myself at their factory. The shirt was thick, 100% cotton and I'm satisfied with the value for quality. Will definitely go with them again for future T-shirts!

The company is Canadian, so that was already a point in their favour. The t-shirts were true to size, well-made, and of good quality. The printing is also high quality, which means that it won't wash off after one or two wearings.

I ordered 19 t-shirts for a birthday event, and I was blown away by the quality of the shirts. They came on time, as expected. I allowed lots of time for them to get here - I was ordering from Edmonton, AB, Canada and it took around 26 non-business days for an order of that size to arrive.
