Two Cancellations (one for 'staff event')

I booked an appointment for the end of March back in January. They cancelled on the morning of the appointment. I was disappointed but I guess these things happen. I rebooked, next available ended up being 1 May. Not the end of the world, I thought, at least I'm going. 15th of April comes around and I get a text saying they've cancelled it... I call and ask why and they say "staff event".
Please don't waste your time with this place.

Great Rotherham Practice

Absolutely sensational Rotherham practice. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. I can always book an appointment when required and Mr Gamo goes above and beyond with my son, who can sometimes be a little apprehensive. The dental nurse team are beyond friendly, especially Kirsty, who makes it feel less formal and a more relaxing experience whilst still receiving the best care. I constantly recommend this practice to friends and colleagues.

Excellent and supportive orthodontic team!

As a university student, I had fixed braces for 2 years and 3 months at Treeline Dental Care in Lincoln following a teeth extraction, and I’ve had a very positive experience with the whole team.

My orthodontist, Zara, was always very informative and helpful throughout the process, explaining each stage of the treatment clearly. The nurse, Aga, was also really supportive and made me feel comfortable during visits.

Amelia, the TCO, oversaw my treatment from the very beginning, including the initial scan, and also carried out the final scan at the end. She was very thorough and reassuring throughout. My retainers arrived very quickly after my braces were removed, and Amelia kept in touch to make sure I had received them and that everything was going well.

Overall, I’m really pleased with my treatment and grateful for the care and support from the whole team at Treeline Dental Care! Thank you <3

Treeline dental (LINCOLN)Priscilla my Dentist and Kayleigh my Dental Nurse are fantastic they go the extra for their patients, I love the way Priscilla has a keen eye for detail ensuring exacting standards are met with her keen eyes and attention to detail, I know I’m in good hands! Kayleigh is always checking in on my welfare ensuring my comfort throughout my Dental work she knows her way around the scanner taking a full oral scan painlessly and to be fair that’s impressive ( iv had it done elsewhere and it was painful and they missed small bits and kept having to go again and again and ended up giving up and sending the scan away anyway) whereas Kayleigh’s scan was perfect no holes nothing missing and painless! The lady I saw for my initial invisalign appointment was lovely - she was sweet and not overly professional/cold. I wish she could be my dentist, I'd definitely floss more 😆

Making Invisalign consultations feel warm rather than formal is a skill, and if the promise of flossing more is anything to go by, it sounds like it worked.

My experience overall was one of very professional service from the young ladies in treatment room 1.
I needed a tooth extraction which proved to be difficult as the tooth was deseased and broken.

Great staff in the practice

Took my daughter for her regular checkup at Rotherham. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and both the Nurse Sam and the dentist were very friendly and explained everything to us well. We are grateful to have an NHS dentist in the current climate and all the staff are great. It is frustrating that appointments have been moved and it can be a wait to get through on the phone but we know that’s the system and not a reflection on the team on the ground.

Friendly staff, great advice.

I have been a patient at this practice for a number of years. I was aware that Treeline had taken over and I will admit that I wasn't sure what this meant and how it would effect me as a patient.
But rest assured no change at all. In fact the staff were all lovely on my arrival and my dentist was very friendly.
I would like to say a big thank you to Kirsty who also gave me some great advice and options for private hygiene options too.

I have had treatment at maltby dental practice for a long time I had treatments throughout last year and can honestly say I was treated with very good care and high standards from the helpful receptionist to the dentist and dental nurses who are all professional in their roles I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone .

Overall, it felt like a patch-up job and you’ll likely need it redone elsewhere.

Like some of the reviews here, I left feeling really uncomfortable. I saw Dr Rahul at Treeline Dental in Bolsover, and whenever I raised a concern, he was calm but dismissive, like I was overreacting about something I could clearly see was wrong, but it was treated as ‘normal’.

A filling failed and part of the tooth snapped with it. What should’ve been one appointment turned into 3 visits. In the end, he filled the gap but left it half-done, without rebuilding the snapped bit.

A month later, a persistent foul smell started between the gum and the new filling, despite good hygiene. I’d planned to get it redone while on holiday back home, but I had to go back again (4th visit). It was dealt with in minutes, with no real check. I asked him to at least sand the filling down so it was easier to clean, and the main advice was to sleep with normal toothpaste on it. It burned my mouth, made me feel sick, and didn’t fix the issue.

I’m not saying things can’t go wrong, it’s how it was handled. Polite on the surface, but I felt brushed off when I came back with a real problem. Overall, it felt like a patch-up job and you’ll likely need it redone elsewhere.

AVOID !!

AVOID !!! paid for denplan for 5months and havent had my hygienist appt before being switched to maternity exemption and even trying to do that was difficult!. Been told i had to pay for hyginist even tho ive paid them 5 months direct debit and had no appointments. ive been chasing them since the start of jan 2026 to try and get a response to ensure that my hygienist appt is covered under denplan seen as theyve taken £100 off me and ive not recieved the service . no one ever responds to the emails, call the number they say theyll call you back but NOTHING. on your website it says you deal with complaints within 20 working days its been well over that . i was so happy with the service i recieved up until now absolute con artists now going through my bank to try and get my money back. maybe this review means i might actually get a response back or at least a refund !!!

Awful

My experience with this practice has been extremely disappointing and unnecessarily stressful.

I have personally had multiple NHS appointments cancelled or rearranged, and when I booked a private cosmetic appointment instead, that appointment was also cancelled by the practice. Despite no service being provided, I then had to spend weeks repeatedly chasing the return of my £30 deposit. Even after being informed the refund had been “initiated,” the funds still did not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, forcing me to begin recovery through my bank.

Communication was consistently poor, responses were slow, and the situation was handled in a dismissive and unhelpful manner. During this same period, automated appointment reminders continued to be sent despite the unresolved refund issue, demonstrating clear administrative disorganisation.

After reviewing wider customer feedback, I noted that the company’s overall Trustpilot profile currently sits at around 2.5/5, with a high proportion of negative reviews reflecting experiences very similar to my own.

The amount involved was small, but the time wasted, repeated chasing required, and lack of professionalism shown in resolving such a simple matter was unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before paying deposits or relying on scheduled appointments at this practice
