Additional flight charge
They'll return a call saying your flight ticket cannot be confirmed with the flight company and ask for an additional charge to get it through. When you want to cancel and get a refund a surcharge will be applied. Absolute scam. I've no way but to accept and pay an additional £20 after 20 minutes of negotiation over a phone call (it was £40 at first). Terrible experience.
Edit (22 June 2026): Thanks for the reply, however I'm quite sure I'm told that there would be a service charge applied if I chose to get a refund. I've stressed my disagreement a few times but got told that this is your company policy that a full refund would not be possible. Clearly either the customer service was unsure about your company policy or you're deceiving customer.

Thank you for your feedback. As with all airline bookings, fares are subject to live inventory and dynamic pricing. Once payment is received, a payment confirmation is issued; however, the booking is not fully confirmed until the ticket has been issued. Once the ticket has been issued there is an additional confirmation mail sent. We understand that changes in fare availability between payment and ticket issuance can be frustrating. Our team works to secure bookings at the confirmed price wherever possible, but where airline pricing changes in real time, this can affect the final ticketing outcome. Traveasy does not send any booking confirmation until the ticket is issued. If we are unable to issue the ticket at the price you have paid, the customer will receive a full refund. Therefore, we do not see any wrongdoings here. We remain committed to ensuring our booking process and communications are as clear as possible for all customers.
Just a headache
Their systems and customer server are horrific
I initially booked, and received confirmation of wrong amount of people, wrong dates and everything! Proper panic. Rang them, back and forth on the phone, got the correct confirmations etc eventually apart from should have been 2 adults 3 kids (maybe other way depending where adult starts) and was down as 5 adults, send them all the details, but have ended up contacting the airline myself.
I have found them extremely unhelpful. Flight is in a few weeks and went to put passport details in and still showing incorrect DoBs so have contacted airline directly again! They confirmed they sorted but stil shows wrong on TravEasy and seem to be unable to get through on the phone or get a response on mail at this point.
I'll try and remember to update once been on the flight and if any further headaches

When I booked the tickets with £366.39…
When I booked the tickets with £366.39 through their website and received a confirmation pf my ticket, then I received their call saying that the price for the flight ticket was not available, needed me to pay additional fees which is total amount for the flight ticket was £390 finally. I am feeling cheated by their service and found that I am not the first person faced the same problem from them. Very very bad service from this travel agent and I and disappointed

Price increase after purchase…
Price increase sent via email after purchase which I contested and then they assumed the cost. I was then sent an email for a similar price increase for another customer via email, indicating that they do this often and they have issues with personal data management. I was chased several times to provide a better review on trustpilot for the customer service team. I have done this because they are not to blame, but the way this company operates is deceitful and irritating.

Worst app and service ever
Worst app and service ever, i buyed the ticket, there was not even a confirmation page, money deducted, checked in the app for confirmation, still showing failed ticket, after 2 hrs mail confirmation came, it was urgent booking due to failure i had buyed another ticket, now i got two tickets for the same flight, hell with you guys, never gonna book again, worst customer service though

Price increase after already buying ticket…
I was notified a day after already purchasing the flight that the price had increased, and that Traveasy woudn't provide my ticket unless I paid the airline surcharge. This was confusing and I was irritated. When I spoke to Juli on the phone about it, she was very calm and helped me get the ticket I had paid for. Customer service was good in the end, but they need to work on improving the booking process.
