Damaged item- no replacement
Placed an order of 2 identical items. One item came perfect, whilst the second one was completely damaged with marks all over. Contacted customer service with images and they informed me that quality assurance said the item was all good before despatch so the item must of gotten damaged in transit of “afterwards”. Not quite sure if that was them suggesting I damaged the item myself as I did not ask for a refund but instead for the replacement to be shipped as soon as possible so both of my children could get it in time for Christmas. The only suggestion customer service made is to send me a label for me to ship the item back after which a refund will be provided. This is the few days now leading up to Christmas, so finding an identical replacement is going to be almost impossible.
Pretty disappointed with the customer service of a toy store and the lack of responsibility taken. Furthermore even if the item was damaged during transit, it’s a plush toy which came in absolutely no additional packaging, apart from a plastic parcel bag that delivery label was stuck on, so not much care was taken to package it up appropriately before despatch. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t purchase again from this company if this is how they resolve customers receiving damaged items.

Hi We are really sorry you had felt this way, we had contacted you to say if you can send the item back we will fully refund the item, as the stock levels are moving fast and due to delivery companies taking their time for delivery at this time of the year we do not want to promise anything that we cannot deliver on. Some items unfortunately do not come in outer packaging so it was shipped in sturdy bag which are approved by the mailing companies. Sometimes the item do get damaged in transit. However, we are really sorry again but we needed the item back to issue a refund or send a replacement or any other solution. Again apologies for this and I know this is not the solution you wanted to hear but at this time of the year due to stock levels and delivery time scales we do not want to promise the delivery before christmas so only solution we had is a full refund. Apologies on behalf of the team.

Slower shipping, bit pricey, but great product and service

Purchase price was a quite a bit above RRP, but it was an in-demand product so I think that’s perfectly fair. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Value for money.
Wanted this gift for my grandson. It was the cheapest I could find for him. The turtle was perfect for him. It actually did what it said on the box. I will definitely purchase more toys for my grandchildren from this company over the Christmas period.

Really sorry to hear that, when you got in touch with us on messenger to enquire about the item delivery, I believe one of our team members promptly advised that the item was dispatched and as no one was not available to receive the item the postman left a card at your address with the details that it was left with the neighbour, we have sent the proof of delivery as well. Unfortunately once the item has left our warehouse we have to rely on Royal mail to deliver the item, which they tried and as no one was available to receive the item they had left a card. Thanks for your review, on investigation we can see you have been in contact with us on messenger service where we advised the order will be dispatched on Monday which was the next working day. An automated email was sent with the tracking number when the order was dispatched and completed on Monday. We have again contacted you on messenger with the tracking information. Sometimes the emails land in spam folder so its advisable to add our domain to your safe senders list. We are just a phone call, email and chat away.
